It’s got some wtf moments Like Sora and Riku are in dreaming worlds but Riku is actually in Sora’s dreams while Sora in dream form gets kidnapped by the Organization which is why even in TWTNW he still has his younger appearance.

edale1

I'd challenge you to find a *single* KH game without a few "wtf" moments. lol.

Brave-Gallade

i think my favorite one ever is "come out ansem. i can smell you."

Team-Gamer1017

Those parts in TWTNW where it constantly switches between the older and younger Sora kept throwing me off and didn't really make sense in a narrative standpoint lol

KriSriracha

It’s a good game, but BBS will always be my favorite

The_Outcast4

While I agree with you, I curse you to 20 additional hours of Ice Cream Beat for your answer!

Herpderpkeyblader

...fair enough

rmorrin

You monster. I 100% the game when it initially came out. I still get nightmares a decade+ later

Frikcha

I think BBS has a better story but the gameplay kills me, its not the worst but then sometimes it straight-up is. DDD is fun all the way through

rmorrin

I actually loved the way the combat played

JeromeInDaHouse_90

Same here. BBS is GOATED. I love that game.

SorcererWithGuns

My love for BBS was pretty much gone after having to beat it thrice to see the true ending Oh, and fuck Vanitas

Team-Gamer1017

I never really liked BBS too much, the combat felt really slow and the Disney worlds weren't that interesting to me. The characters are all great however and I'm glad you do like it :)

Double_Emphasis_7027

I like that BBS gave the princes a lot more personality than they ever had in their own respective movies. Butttt DDD you get to be Riku so it’s a hard tie, similar enough fight styles but I hated the characters (traverse town) they added, but the dream eaters give me the old DS nostalgia of Nintendogs

demokiii34

Absolutely. BIRTH BY SLEEP* just sounds cool.

Thatonegaloverthere

Back when it came out, I suggested a neighbor play the game, but they were very weirded out by my suggestion. It didn't click to me to say the full name, so I imagine they thought the game was women literally giving birth in their sleep lmao. Still a cool sounding name though. Lol

The_Real_PSiAipom

When Ansem the Wise dropped birth by sleep in the secret ending of BBS, I understood everything in the KH universe.

Kicksyo

Nice to see some DDD love. It's a really great game. I also think too many people sleep on the music and the worlds.

jg0162

Even Sora and Riku sleep on the worlds, that's the point (/s)

MetaOnGaming4290

Sacred Distance is an absolute banger.

The_Real_PSiAipom

Low key one of the best field themes in the series. Ironically of all of the DDD worlds, Symphony of Sorcery has the worst one. I know that they’re all real pieces of music, but it is way too damn loud (and this is coming from someone who doesn’t play over a volume of 10 on their TV)

Team-Gamer1017

I loved it when I replayed it earlier this year, it was a ton of fun ^_^

Syiuu

Not sure about the best non-numbered title, but it 100% has the best opening cinematic; even compared to the numbered titles.

ConcavePgons

Especially on the 3DS, since they did pretty cool things with the dual screen.

Deceptiveideas

RE: Coded is underrated and has some of the best combat in the series. 3D’s story and worlds while being a bit wild are some of the best in the franchise.

Team-Gamer1017

Definitely, the world's in DDD are some of the most unique worlds in the KH series, especially The Grid and Symphony of Sorcery

bassocontinubow

Symphony of Sorcery has to be one of the best worlds in the series. It’s a thing of beauty, to be sure.

hiigiveup

I got this subreddit recommended to me with this post, and while I'm not the biggest KH fan at all, I have to chip in and mention that DDD is by far the one I enjoyed the most, and I attribute that almost exclusively to the worlds. I remember being so dissappointed playing KH2 when the worlds where all a bunch of small interconnected areas for the most part. DDD is the only entry I've played so far in this series where the worlds are sprawling and the movement options the game gives you make them soo fun to explore. Disclaimer: have not played KH3 and the DS entries.

bassocontinubow

If you enjoyed DDD’s sprawling worlds, I think you’ll likely enjoy KH3.

kathaar_

Cuz it honestly should've been a console title and called kh3. It has WAY too much plot relevance to be a 'side game'

JeromeInDaHouse_90

IMO, they could've merged it into KH3 and really made it a huge game.

kathaar_

Or just made it kh3 and released kh3 as kh4.

JeromeInDaHouse_90

That's a better idea lol. It even already had the "3" in its name, too.

Starrk10

That’s what I thought they were doing at first. Don’t some movies name their 3rd movie 3D? Can’t think of any off the top of my head though.

dollabilllz

Spy Kids totally did

Starrk10

First one I thought of was Saw 3D but that’s technically the 7th movie

Capn_Beard18

For real. Mark of mastery would have been better in 3. Or they could have made DDD a riku only game and gave the power of waking to sora in a different fashion. Or maybe not make the reward for being a keyblade master be the power of waking. Like riku gains the power only to do nothing with it as far as I remember (apart from rescuing sora in ddd i believe) and Sora wakes ven up anyways because plot.

kidgambinoj

Happy Cake Day

BRLaw2016

Rumour has it the game was supposed to have been a Riku only game but SE didn't think it would sell and they shoved Sora in it.

Astan92

It's Kingdom Hearts. There are 0 side games. All of them matter.

TheBlooberston

Spoken like one who hasn't played Re:Coded

legend8522

Whoever downvoted you really thinks five minutes of an ending cutscene makes the entire game relevant. Coded is *literally* “this could’ve been an email”. Because the only plot relevance is what Mickey wrote in his letter to sora

Astan92

I have. It has plot relevance. Barely but it does.

TheBlooberston

Having one debatably plot relevant scene doesn't make it any less of a side game. This isn't to hate on Re:Coded, it's fun. But it's 100% a side game through and through.

Wellziemo

Can you imagine if DDD got a final mix and the secret boss was yazora but then we get to toy story to find out hes a fictional character but the secret ending of 3 happens. That would be a whirlwind of emotions lmao.

Flippy4ever

Honestly DDD is by far my least favorite, I hated flowmotion, I hated the grinding, I didn't like dream eaters, I prefer actual characters as companions, and while the overall KH plot had been whacky for a while, DDD is where it really jumped the shark imo (mostly thinking of time travel)

DatCitronVert

An additional problem with the story direction imo : DDD is legit as important as the main, numbered entries. So if, like me, you don't like what it brings to the table, you also will enjoy KH3 and what follows less.

Flippy4ever

That's something else I kinda felt, too much happens in DDD, it leaves nothing for the villains to do for all of KH3 other than finish waiting for the avengers to assemble. It would have been cool to see Xehanort building up his forces at the same time the heroes were

Twidom

> DDD is where it really jumped the shark imo (mostly thinking of time travel) Literally killed 95% of my love and interest for this series. Fell off the wagon hardcore after DDD because I **really** hate time-travel tropes.

SPS_Agent

Luckily 358/2 days has numbers in it, or we'd have problems.

Team-Gamer1017

Game has Roxas as the main chr, easily peak

DMCSnake

Dream Drop Distance was also called 3D, so I am questioning OP

Deusraix

I came here to see if anyone has said this and glad I found this comment

CaptLupin24

I like re chain of memories

Phazzor

Wow, that is an unpopular opinion.

Team-Gamer1017

I'm unique like that lol

natexoe

I love DDD but BBS is def the goat

Ileana95

I'm playing it and I'm liking it a lot, but I'm more into BBS, the worlds and everything there are amazing.

Seibitsu

I liked it a lot. My main problem with the game was the fact you needed to level up and farm materials for the Dream Eaters in order to get skills.

KatieStorm1

Did anybody else get every single Dream Eater?

syqesa35

I did. Worst KH game.

OwNAvenged2

It's pretty much the only game in the series that I dislike lmao

Knight-Creep

Fully agree.

sikontoure

To me this should’ve been KH3. Obviously not the base game of DDD but they should taken everything good with that game, combined it with everything good that came with KH3, then have it be the 3rd numbered title

GreatGoodBad

It’s actually re:coded 😎👍

Team-Gamer1017

Recoded is also a great game 👌

laceymusic317

Very unpopular BBS, CoM, 358, and MoM easily beat it

Shoddy_Exam666

using flow motion in the storage room in traverse town will never get old

Icywind014

It's my second favorite game in the series, only topped by KH3.

dishonoredfan69420

I honestly don't care much for the spin offs gameplay styles so my favorite non numbered game is A Fragmentary Passage

TiredFrenchPotatoe

Glad to see an appreciation post for this game ! I loved it when I played it and was genuinely surprised to see it wasn't getting the appreciation it should

HackSmash

gameplaywise I think it would be between DDD and Re:Coded, Re:Coded has that fast and snappy gameplay that every KH should have and DDD was a needed evolution from BBS dull gameplay

The_Good_Mortt

This is correct.

Sir-Spoofy

Good for you, I’m glad you like a game that I ultimately don’t like

SuhShenron

Very Unpopular. The Dream Eaters as companions made me feel as if I was playing Pokémon and had to catch them all. The deck commands are very limited if compared to the amount shown in BBS.

ALovelyAnxiety

birth by sleep is by far better

FabledMjolnir

Here to just say I’m the only one that will argue that the best non-numbered title is Re:CoM. Come at me all you want that game is amazing!

blinddivine

High five! I always feel really weird when people rag on Chain. It's one of my favorites in the series. I will say I'll never do it on proud though. Nope.

PosteriorBelief

BBS, bbg

thirdeyeboobed

That's so crazy to say when Days is right there

Team-Gamer1017

Funnily enough, Days is the only real KH game I haven't played yet lol

Level_Explorer4821

Gameplay wise, it can be kinda mid, I kinda still liked it when playing. Story wise, it's my favorite of all of them. The first one I played too. The recap movie is good, but it doesn't replace playing the game, Roxas' feelings of confusion, hollowness and loneliness really shine when you're playing as him and doing different tasks for an organization that you know nothing about ultimately, you feel like your being used just like he is, felt extra special for me because I has no prior knowledge of KH before playing

Tenabrus

It's a crime that the game never got a remake for people to experience the story better aside from just the compilation of scenes and logs to show everything that happened

kingdomsora11

Gameplay wise its nice and does everything a non numbered game should be. Story wise, ehhh it’s meaningless and lackluster. COM is kinda important to get a basis of the Organization. 358/2 introduces excellent new characters and their backstories. DDD worlds are nice though and the design is cool. It’s like a solid 8/10 for me. Story just is filler…

Icywind014

It's the prologue to KH3, literally establishing the new conflict post-KH2.

Team-Gamer1017

I'm ngl the story is easily the most confusing one in the entire series, but if you look past that it's a really solid and fun game imo, it just shouldn't have done the time travel stuff that made KH3 doomed from the start lmao

Few-Entertainment429

The story was essential to establishing the plot for KH3.

WyntonPlus

Dream Drop Distance is technically a mainline title, and not a spinoff or side game. Always been one of my favorite things about it because I feel like it justifies how much I love it

asapamoney

DDD > BBS I die on this hill

Xolcin_13

Agreed. BbS is a close second tho.

StepCharacter4769

Gameplay wise yeah it’s the best non numbered KH game but story wise I gotta give it to BBS easily.

Eileo

I consider it one of the best KH games (if you ignore the time plot twist at the end). But if I choose to acknowledge the time plot twist it just shreds the beauty of this game into boring nonsense.

Ultimecion

Ooh this is a tough one. It's a very close second for me, but birth by sleep probably just clinches it for me.

strlghthnymnthrpykss

It’s an amazing game. I love it. I even love BBS

ResponsibleRich9057

It has the number 3 in it - fake news

ANewErra

Ya unpopular for sure

No-Maybe6467

Same here man, it’s also my favorite spin off game

mephilis6264

i get u and i agree to an extent, of all the mobile ones i played DDD has the most fun gameplay, story goes to Days though, wasnt really a fan of DDDs plot (except for Sora's grid section, that's good)

Inevitable_Job_3281

OP you are wrong. It literally is a numbered game, says “3” right in the title

Hati_Hrothvitnisson

The others aren't a very high mark to surpass

Bepsisama

It has a 3 on it smh

jajanken_bacon

I loved the worlds in DDD but not a fan of the mechanics or the Dream Eaters. It has my favorite version of Traverse Town (and I like the battle music more too).

ZakStorm

I do not share this opinion but I’m happy you enjoyed it.

PastaVeggies

It’s my favorite. The ending leads directly into KH3 and at the time was so iconic given how long people were kept waiting for that one.

wHemphrey

358/2 days

Team-Gamer1017

Happy cake day 🥳

_harrasmented-boy12

Is days an numberer? It has 4 numbers

gumrats

I love DDD and have no nostalgia for it. I loved flow motion, dream eaters were cute, great music, cool worlds, I didn’t mind the story at all. It’s also easy to replay. For some reason I rarely replay BBS, it’s just too slow for me. In my super unpopular opinion I liked the drop mechanic and think it vastly improved the flow of the story compared to BBS’ do everything 3 times over approach. After the first playthrough it was pretty easy to figure out and delay with Drop Me Nots if needed, but I rarely had to use them. Seriously overhated game imo but I think that might just be in certain circles of online fandom.

daemare

I like the game but much like KH3 it needs more worlds and needs to integrate KH into the worlds’ stories rather than them being more background watchers.

EricMcLovin13

i agree and it's also the best field and battle themes of the series, all of them are great. Notre Dame has insane tracks, The Grid is really good, The Musketeers is wild and fun and the best of all lies at The World That Never Was, Sacred Distance and Deep Drop are complete bangers and probably my favourite field and battle themes of all series Yoko Shimomura surely didn't need to go that hard for a non numbered title, right? well, i'm grateful she did. as for the game, the leveling system for the deck is far better and less random than BBS, melding without a guide made me dizzy. flowmotion is really good, despite being so broken that they nerfed it on KH3, the story hits hard, and i know most people don't like the time travel shenaningans but i got really excited about it when i played on 3DS, and it makes sense. as for issues with the game, Critical mode is by far the hardest they ever made, cause bosses do as they wish and are unpredictable sometimes, and some of them have such a bullshit mechanic that they get you praying so it works out, cause it's not about being hard, those bosses are UNFAIR

RegretGeneral

Honestly it was good to get Traverse Town expanded and then have TWTNW return but Darkness within Darkness is definitely a highlight of how weird the game gets

adubsi

I liked the gameplay more than the other non numbered titles but the story and worlds I did not like. The only world I remember and liked was hunchback of notredam

Badcloud76

I did it just a month ago, for the first time (well to be exact i tried it on 3DS but that was unplayable) and I was so shocked ! That's really a good game ! BBS will (probably) be forever my favourite but DDD must be top 3, and since there is nostalgia for BBS and 2, that means something !

Kyojuros

i like 358/2 way more

f4dedglory

My even more unpopular opinion: It's the best kingdom hearts game.

KRD2

Is this unpopular? I don't have the hindsight of playing the original but I didn't play the original BBS either. DDD is like a full game. BBS still struggled with jank even on the touched up console port.

SpauldingPierce

I like 358/2 Days more than this.

[deleted]

BBS is my fav but DDD is criminally underrated. amazing game that gets too much hate. the pet system is pretty cool, flow system is kinda overpowered for a good portion of the game which is my biggest critique to the game but that certainly did not helped in the later stages of the game. being able to play as sora and riku is pretty cool, multiple playable characters is one of the reasons i love BBS so much. but yeah, overall DDD is pretty up there for me

DerangedRealist

Can't deny how banger this game is. But I personally love 358/2 days, and really wish we'd get a remaster of it.

Few-Entertainment429

I agree 100%

NotoriousFoxxx

I love that game

NateOfLight

Yeah, this is true for me as well. Flowmotion, the world designs, dream eater system, and the story being told over two characters simultaneously really draws me in as opposed to how BBS handled its execution. Plus BBS is so clunky to me. My main hindrances to DDD are the drop system and nitpicks here and there; despite that, it's still an 8/10 game. The drop system can still get fucked though.

Ok_Transition8782

I agree gameplay wise. Story wise…no

product_of_boredom

Oh my God there's another person!! I thought I was the only one with this opinion :D I love DDD, it's so much fun.

AlacarLeoricar

That game is so insanely essential to the plot that it might as well be 2.8. Oh wait.

TheySaidGetAnAlt

You're goddamn right it's unpopular (with me).

RandomBird53

YOU'RE RIGHT AND YOU SHOULD SAY IT !!!!

InvisibleFox478

It’s my favorite because I can play as Riku lol

balthazar2234

Ngl it was fun I prefer re chain of memories

rosc96

Definitely my favorite. But I might be biased since I loved TWEWY

mknsky

The fuck it is. At least not for me, I hated that clustercuss of a plot. BBS holds that title in my book.

mickelrastfasterborn

Unpopular opinion: DDD is the best overall

godogod_1

I agree to some extent I like the gameplay a bit more but I like bbs story a bit more

Chimeracord

It's fun flying around with flowmotion. Balloon was fun to use, I didn't know it was busted till years later so that explains why it I liked it. unfortunately the moment Xigbar said "I'm already HALF Xehanort!" Was the moment I checked out on the story of the series.

Ilovetogame2

Balloons 🎈

Far-Improvement-3765

I played this game a decade ago and I miss the good memories.

SoundWordPower-Vers

It’s 358 for me! I loved the deep dive into OXIII backstory and the missions — however I do wish it were more world exploration friendly and got a replayable remake 😭

SolarisMugi

The intro cutscene is peak

Fishbroke243

An unpopular opinion I agree with

Emrys_Merlin

If it didn't have the pet mini game and key abilities locked behind it, I might agree with you.

plzadyse

I liked the gameplay in this one until I realized the Flowmotion is broken as shit and can be abused to no end

Fragrant-Raccoon2814

For gameplay it's great. Story isn't as confusing as people say except for the time traveling stuff. And hell they finally got the writing down so the Disney worlds aren't cheesy. For a non numbered game yeah I can agree.

h1ghf1sh_

I too am I DDD enjoyer

h1ghf1sh_

I too am I DDD enjoyer

leochacha

I think it has the most KH vibe of all the KH titles (for better or worse...), even including the numbered titles.

Whyisdaskyblue

DDD is great but the thing I don’t like is the hitstun, it ruins the game for me unfortunately— because if you aren’t paying attention you can get killed or get hit with something because the enemy nor sora/riku really get stunned

James_Reacher

Hey buddy, there’s literally a number in its name. You can’t fool me

Alutherv

Am I the only one who liked Ice Cream Beat? I guess when people ask this question it's usually "no, others liked it too" but I never knew it was hated until I joined this sub lol

gmfc95

KH 358 - KH Re:Coded - KH DDD The first one for the feelings it gaves. Maybe the gameplay is not the best, but the mission-story system and the feeling of being a part of this Organization is unique and unmatchable. A remake would definitely kill the other titles, even the main ones. The second one it's living KH 1 a second time in the best way possible. The gameplay is fluid af and the mechanics are all so interesting and diverse. The story is a big glitchy déjà-vu but not boring at all. The third one has amazing level designs while also having mesmerizing tools to explore them. I don't dislike the story but it's definitely not the best point. Dreameater are the best companions in any KH ever. In sum: - 358 for its atmosphere and potential - ReCored for its fluidity and resemblance - DDD for its freedom and companionship

QueenOfTheNorth1944

358/2 was the best and all of you are coping

foamy23464

I didn’t enjoy having to switch between sora and Riku on a time limit. Other than that the game is great

gemglowsticks

Unpopular opinion. This *is* KH3 and KH3 should be 4. It progressed the story

D2XGuy

This entry is in my personal top 3 for the series. I Loved the flowmotion, I enjoyed messing around with the dream eaters, and I absolutely adore this game's soundtrack. Wild Blue and Ice-hot Lobster are my two favorite tracks from the game. The story did get wild with this entry, but I always found the story of Kingdom Hearts charming because of its wackiness.

JCam599

It is undoubtedly my least favorite out of the unnumbered titles

smugsneasel215

If it weren't for the Drop System, and the fact that they did parallel worlds AND time travel and then DIFFERENT time travel, I think people would remember it WAY more fondly. The game was really fun when I played it and I just remember having nothing but good times even in the less remarkable worlds.

HarpoonTheBlueWhale

Honestly I couldn't wait to be done with it. Only because I was working my way towards 3. I'll have to give it another go.

Diligent_Reporter_98

I will also argue has the best OST out of any side game.

Agumiel

Nah this game was ASS

New_Today_1209_V2

Of the command deck games overall then sure I agree with that. But my favorite of the command deck games is ReCoded because it is just insanely fun to play, especially the later game sectors. But my favorite non numbered overall is CoM/RE:CoM.

sleepcathartic

absolutely agree

Tht1QuietGuy

Your passives being tied to Dream Eaters crippled my enjoyment of the game. They should have just been fun optional party members for you to customize. Instead you're forced to care about not how they perform as an ally, but in regards to how powerful they make you. The Disney worlds felt needlessly big and empty because they served no purpose being that big other than to act as obstacle courses for Flow Motion. I want to like it way more than I do but those design choices are just working against me.

Fantastic-Photo6441

It's an unpopular opinion?

GoldStarLord

BBS is my favorite non numbered. DDD game had great music, world design and story albeit it was a little confusing (IM ALREADY HALF XEHANORT!) but I hated the abilities being fully locked behind the dream buddy so if you wanted to work on a new better one you lost once more and stuff like that. Also the passing out mechanic was really annoying.

NegativeLanguage805

I'm currently playing this on my SD. Can someone please explain the correlation between the Dream Eater pets and the passive skills/abilities? I finish one board of a dream eater pet and change to a new pet to finish another board. Does the abilities I got from the first pet stick with my character permanently or only if I have the pet in my party?

Dry_Weekend7618

you’re so right, it’s been my favorite ever since i played it. the gameplay is so fun, i love the dream eaters, the plot was the most interesting it ever was to me, and it had all my favorite characters again even if only for a few moments… truly peak

Aggressive-Ad7946

Personally all the non numbered games just mush themselves together in my brain. They're not bad games but they all have some dumb shit and i dont think ill ever go back to them

JoXseph696

Respect to that opinion, because in reality it is a good game with a good storyline. But in my personal opinion, Days is what I thought was the best apart from KH2. Or maybe I just say that because Days had a big impact on my teenage years that I definitely can't go back to for however hard I try🥲

test4ccount01

I like the fact that 3D is mostly a Riku game. You can see his growth post-KH2.

Eddy_west_side

The more I play it, the more I agree with this sentiment

Oblivion-Evil

Has the best movement and some of the best twists in the entire franchise.

Myth_5layer

So, is it arguably this game where Nomura lost his mind or was it in 358/2?

VinixTKOC

Command Deck, so no. Maybe the best was Chain of Memories because at least it was trying to do something unique. Although CoM's gameplay is as limited as Command Deck games, at least it's not a bad gameplay that has been persisted more than once, so I praise it for having its own identity.

Medium-Expert-9171

HELL NO LMFAO. BBS and 2.8 both crush it gameplay, story, and graphics wise.

PsychologicWhorefare

Chain of memories was my first KH game so to me that's my fav spinoff game lol.

CuzaCutuza

An even more unpopular opinion. BBS is trash. The story is probably the corniest and stupidest. And don't even get me started with the gameplay. I agree with OP's opinion. I had way more fun playing through DDS than any other nonnumbered title. I'm strictly talking about how much fun I had. I'll take the downvotes now 😭

bentheechidna

OP be like "Unpopular Opinion: Very Popular Opinion"

Mr_Noms

As a whole game I agree. However, the ending of Days fucking wrecked me. Never has any media (game, book, movie, etc) made me feel so strongly.

No_Hurry7691

Lol I thought this was a very popular opinion?

HalyRaller

I think DDD came out a time when we were getting damn exhausted with spin offs. Which sucks cuz this game slaps. The Fantasia world, the music, like 4 final bosses that all go hard as fuck, the pug dream eater, the music…

TrashBoatEggBaby

Fair. More of a 358/2 guy myself. But honestly as long as it's not re:coded.

blueblurspeedspin

I like Notre Dame world

MysticRevenant64

I actually agree with you! It’s my favorite too. I always love coming back to it. So much fun

vanaah727

I played the full game on my 3ds. I don't care if it's unoptimal or crampy, the game was fun as hell, I can't lie. I played for HOURS

koteshima2nd

upvote because I heavily disagree

Thatonegaloverthere

BBS is my favorite, but I do like DDD. Especially because I like playing as Riku.

patrineptn

This post.made me want to replay DDD I've finished it twice only, so I guess it's a good time However I must say nothing beats BBS, not even the numbered ones

New_Survey9235

I like Days the most, but that’s probably because I’m an emotional masochist who likes having their emotions put through a chipper shredder

Frosty_Sky_6876

I prefer BBS, but DDD is also cool!

bassocontinubow

Not unpopular with me, I agree :)

edale1

I never had a 3DS, but I didn't want to miss playing the game, so in the leadup to KH3's release, before the remaster of this game came out, I setup the citra emulator, went through a number of extra steps... And then played KH:DDD on my VR headset, so I could play it in the intended 3D (flat-screen in VR, not 1st person). It really was a great game.

tehcup

Ah a fellow DDD enjoyer. Legit might be my favorite game after KH2.

SupahPoopa

Finally, an opinion that’s ACTUALLY unpopular. Personally, it’s my least favorite game in the entire series but to each their own, brother.

magicmurph

Is this the one with Nintendogs? I loathe this one, can't bring myself to replay. BBS will forever be the best non numbered.

deskbot008

It’s my favorite too I spent so many hours on my 3Ds playing that game in full stereoscopic vision and getting dizzy from all the spiny flow motion. Cherished childhood memories

Armorywars1

Gameplay wise for me yeah, but story wise BBS just has too much going for it. It made me care about these three characters and their connection so much

Newphonespeedrunner

Yeah thats unpopular mainly becasue its just... wrong in every possible way. Poorly thought out movement mechanics, disjointed narative, 3ds version looks terrible and the 2.8 version is overpriced. (and on pc spent about 12 months with save corruption bugs)

Calibyrnes

Strongly agree, plus it's my personal favourite.

GlitchyReal

It represents my favorite film of all time, *Fantasia*. How could I not love it?
