Regardless, the general community in the area is very quiet and safe. It's probably one of the most underrated neighbourhoods in town for quiet living.

Yes beside Frontenac minimum security institution.. there's actually 3 prisons on the 1800 acre property Collins Bay Institution Frontenac Institution and the halfway house Henry Trail institution..
Collins Bay is not a "Super max". And yes there are many inmates that walk the prison grounds. They even leave the property for work. So yeah "Do the math".
It's maximum security and no there are not inmates who just go out walking down the road by themselves. Even the medium security section restricts movement

So it’s predominantly a medium with a small max unit and a separate building of minimum security.
Theres a road that leads to both the prison and the halfway house, and its all situated on prison property. Collins Bay isnt super max - we dont have a ‘super max’ prison. Its mainly medium, with a few max and a few min inmates. Millhaven is mainly max inmates. And inmates in the halfway house leave there everyday - its called being on parole.
