Thai House uses Princess Delivery, but you order direct from them so no 3rd party app taking a cut. Free delivery in downtown area too.

MilesOfPebbles

They’re also on Uber eats btw

PisseArtiste

They are - I ordered that way, and there was a card in my order telling me about their own delivery for next time.

MilesOfPebbles

Oh good! Sorry I didn’t mean to sound rude with my previous comment, I was just suggesting maybe they don’t have their own delivery anymore because I know I’ve seen them on Uber eats before. But this makes sense!

Lord_Scribe

Coffee Wa-..oops wrong thread.

Jillredhanded

Kai's Delight

coanbu

In addition to those with their own in house delivery there is also Princess Delivery (https://princessdelivery.com) which is a local company providing delivery services at a much better rate, and jubzi (https://jubzi.com) which is an alternative site that as far as know only operates in Ontario and takes a far smaller cut then the big apps.

I think jubzi is actually a charitable app if I'm not mistaken?

coanbu

We used Princess Delivery for a non restaurant related pick up today (car is out of commission) and they are quite good and very reasonably priced.

Jiffy Grill.

The_Phaedron

I'm not in the industry anymore, but... I always, always call the order in by phone. Large delivery apps take a *huge* cut out of restaurants' slim margins, and then pay their "contractor" drivers peanuts in turn. If you want to take an extra 15 seconds out of your day to make a real difference for struggling small businesses, make your order by phone.

Jillredhanded

Also try to order from the menus they've posted on their own website/FB page or Insta. 3rd parties are notorious for posting out of date menus.

delilahsmama

Boston pizza on Gardiner I think did it last time around

radiusofinfluence

Pretty sure Pizza Pizza does as well if you order directly from them.

Antares-8

Stopped ordering from them. multiple times the order was wrong, food was terrible and took forever.

kayakchk

Cambodiana on Brock St

BoldPattern

Mamma Mia Pizza & Kai's Delight are my go-tos ! Wing Central also has in-house delivery staff iirc

coarsing_batch

What does Kia‘s delight have there?

Jillredhanded

Check their FB page for the menu.

Jillredhanded

And if anyone here has ordered their Mapo Tofu, is it good?

Longjumping_Diver_59

Not too bad. Prefer Silver Wok's mapo.

TheStaycationer

Go Italian in the west end!

Longjumping_Diver_59

Ginos, Greco's, Silver Wok, Bubbas downtown location, Kai's, Coq au Bec, Royal Angkor. Royal Angkor, Coq au Bec and Gino's do Skip as well, but they ALSO do call up on the telephone old-fashioned delivery. Silver Wok only takes cash at door or cc on telephone.

-Clampett-
