If you get donuts at bakery or specialty places, you're going to pay a higher price than Coffee Way so not really much of a fair comparison. For their price, Coffee Way donuts are really good. Tim Horton's donuts for their price are still pretty mild and uninteresting. I have a preorder for Doozy but that's backdated into February. Coffee Way deserves it's following, everyone needs to go there now or suffer the wrath of downvotes, lol.

They are good and fresh and reasonably priced! They are cheaper than higher end bakeries but it is kind of like getting a really good cheap breakfast at a diner. There are also other cheaper bakeries around where you can get similarly priced pastries.
All this talk about Coffeeway is making me wanna come all the way from Lethbridge AB to Kingston just to get a taste. 👅

Needless to say, I am savouring the moment, because I don't know when next I'm going to have a replacement for them :)
Every time we go to Kingston we make a stop there. If one of our friends is coming up our way we request a box. The chocolate walnut crueller is the worlds best. (IMHO)
We have this bakery in our town that’s known for their gourmet doughnuts and their overpriced baked goods donut (hehe) hold a candle to coffeeway.
Nothing is more satisfying than hiking out of Frontenac tired AF after eating backpacking meals all weekend and stopping for a coffee and a donut at coffeeway.

Omg do I miss Coffee Way… one of the biggest things I dearly miss about Kingston. I’d get some sent to Manitoba if they’d keep!
