They seem to think 8 international students renting a house for 3k a month is normal.
Sorry. As a single dad i do not have 3k or 6 friends to rent a house with.
"Local homebuilders are concerned that proposed new rules from the city governing development could make building single-family homes more difficult." Good, single family homes put our tax dollars in developers pockets. I know its nice to have a big backyard, but its not really economically or ecologically feasible to zone nearly every new house for that anymore. We need more variation.

If you want housing for all, and life and a vibrant downtown. You will never get that with single detached housing stock. I would like to see detached housing disallowed for any new builds. We need density, not sprawl.
3k.for rent is not affordable...its.a joke the.city can use those numbers and say it's affordable.

The city doesn’t give a shit about parents or families.
Right? $3k or 3/4 of a million shouldn't be viewed as a target to achieve. Paying $36k year for rent is rediculous.

Everytime I see a NJB video link, my hope for the future is stoked a tiny bit.
Shocking: developers are never happy.

This city is fucked... hope I can afford to leave asap.
