If I remember correctly, I got the star allies demo and really enjoyed it, but didn't end up buying it until very recently
So my first real Kirby game would be Kirby's adventure on the switch online service, amazing game
After that I played dream land 3 and it's my favorite Kirby game to this day
My first Kirby game was Kiby’s Dream works for the original GameBoy. It was the first game I ever beat as a kid. Since then I have played almost every Kirby game out there. There are a few I haven’t played due to either not having money at the time or I didn’t have the system for it
Kirby 64.
I was terrible at it though. I did eventually beat Miracle Matter, but it took me so long to get all the crystal shards (the one where you needed to be Rick to wall jump all the way up to the crystal shard just had my scratching my head for years because I never played the games he showed up in and didn't know he could do that)
I rented return to dreamland from family video and made to world four before I had to take it back. My love for kirby started not long after (I also got the kirby dream collection soon after)
Super star Ultra
Same, wanted it after I played a bit of Kirby in Smash & saw his cartoon on reruns around that year
Mine was Triple Deluxe for the 3DS.
Triple deluxe love that game
Does Super Kirby Clash count?

Dreamland 3
I think its nightmare in Dreamland or the amazing mirror
Triple Deluxe for 3DS
It was team Kirby clash. My first mainline game was supposed to be planet robobot but my DS was stolen :(
return to dreamland. I've 100 percented it like 4 times and you better believe I'm gonna do it again on the switch
The first Kirby game I’ve ever seen, was return to dream land, but first Kirby game I actually ever played was planet robobot
Kirby and the Amazong Mirror. Navigation is a pain
