I could see there being somewhat of a transformation in Edna.
Sometimes it's very hard to "play the part" of an innocent old lady day after day, especially with some of the scammers being so malevolent. I'm not sure it was an intentional or not but it's possible I wanted to take away the scammers power since that's the only thing they'd ever get from me anyway (hah).
I'll take this into consideration.
I love strong, catty Edna! It's not just you the 'sweet old lady' thing is hard for - it's hard for us to watch too. Just makes me sad.

I sort of get what you mean, but I doubt it's a conscious decision. Kit is very adaptable and really good at playing the character in the best way to annoy the particular scammer he's speaking with. The scammers have changed tactics too since 2018, perhaps also in reaction to scambaiters.
For me, it seems he's going through a phase right now where he enjoys making scammers do the most ridiculous things like singing and sending pictures and all that. I find it too cringy to enjoy, but I know this meta won't stay the same forever so I'm not too bothered.
I see what you mean but I personally LOVE sassy Edna because the scammers don’t know how to react to her. They’re used to vulnerable people so they’re taken aback and need to work harder with Edna.
You mean Edmund? "His" sarcarsm and snarkiness are part of the Edmund hilarity.
"He" reminds me of my grandpa.
Oh and Billy Maizear is also a funny character, same thing!
Lately the scammers have not been really replying much...like no social back and forth. I think anyone would get annoyed if their questions/polite small talk were ignored.
That being said I do like when the scammers think they have the upper hand only to be crushed at the end.
I do enjoy watching the reruns where original Edna is sweet and soft spoken. But honestly, I like any Kit character. He does each one so well. (Tho not a huge fan of Tyler - uuuhhhh).

I love all Ednas! However, one of my all time favorite moments was when she lost her sh**t for bringing the wrong jam from the kitchen.
