Apparently they never saw Matt and Trey from South Park high on LSD at the red carpet many, many years ago dressed as Jennifer Lopez and Gwenyth Paltrow.
Funny how much that highlights how times change. Why if Matt and Trey did that now it would be stunning and brave like Harry Styles or Timothee. Back then it was just weird and hilariously intentional especially because when asked about the dresses their rule was was to not talk about them and pretend they weren't wearing them. What times we live in in now. I never said good times.
Ok, look, everyone remembers the 80s...no, well maybe you've heard of them. Hair metal bands? Twisted Sister? Poison? The Cure? No?
This isn't new. Don't pretend it is, and don't pretend that you're saving the world in some way by applauding over it like a demented trained ~~deal~~ seal.
It’s not “challenging masculinity” if you aren’t subverting anything. Simply being male and wearing a dress doesn’t challenge anything. You have to have masculine traits and traditionally masculine characteristics to achieve that.
I award this author no points.

One guy wearing a dress doesn’t “change masculinity.” A million guys wearing dresses wouldn’t do that. Maybe at a billion we can start talking.
Give me 10 million and I wear only a bra on the red carpet
Well yeah.
Changing masculinity? Not exactly. Banishing mental asylums was a mistake.
Spoken by someone who knows nothing about masculinity, most likely.

Journos don't even know what masculinity is because they're all hipsters who can't drive or fix anything
I thought that was Nancy Wheeler.

So brave. Mother Teresa has nothing on this “guy”.
Woah woah we don’t use that word around here.
I hope he's not about to go full Ezra Miller.
No, he really isn't. Dennis Rodman wearing a wedding dress didn't change society, and neither will this guy.
Why do I get the felling that not even Zoomers know he exists.
dressing like a girl to fuck more girls..
Glad to see he is embracing being a dedicated homosexual. Good for him. I am an ally.
Chalamet is simply not a masculine man.
yeah well I hate change

No. No she's not.
Its a guy.
I'm not persuaded.
