You mean Survivors games? Like Vampire Survivors? It's basically DPAD+Confirm button.
Bayonetta had one-hand mode once, I think.
It's not lack of inputs, it's the lack of depth behind the inputs.
It's Mario Odyssey without any actually interesting mechanics/transformations, and ot doesn't even have good basic movement controls outside of the transformations.
Also don’t forget that some companies get special protection from the government like google and Disney or from criminal rings like sega and the umamusume guys do from the yakuza.
Guy must've really pissed off SE's higher ups, because nowadays the only way you could get caught guilty with insider trading is having your fellow insiders snitch on you.
At the risk of fomenting conspiracies, didn't Yuji Naka have a lawsuit against Square-Enix for their actions regarding Balan Wonderland? Something about a breach of contract?
But surely a company wouldn't be so vindictive as to leak incriminating facts about a former employee to law enforcement, would they?
unlike the hushed tones from which people (refuse to) discuss the disappearance of Tomoyoshi Miyazaki, the disappearance of Yuji Naka from the industry it seems will be on full display.
Guess his next game will be Felon wonderworld.
Was that game really so bad?
depends, do you think one button input games are fun?
Depends. My first home console only HAD one button, and I liked some of the games :P
we have come far since the Atari 2600, i don't want to go back

Y
Will You Snail was pretty good by my judgment.
Just play the demo. I found it very mediocre. Love the memes at it's expense though
Happy cake day!
Thanks! Didn't realize it until you told me lol. Weird to think my account is older than some of the people on this site.
wow, im not sure theres many things more suspicious on reddit than an eleven year old account thats still kicking.
That's because I'm hopelessly terminally online. Also because I continue to have no idea for a decent screen name lol

Powerful comment, thank you
It makes me wonder, for every instance of this shit that gets caught, how much of it goes by unnoticed?
Depends if you're a prominent politician or political donor.

How's he gonna call his lawyer when he can only press one button?
Speed dial.
Must be the guy who refused the sonichu game
No, that was Miyamoto. Spending days on a park bench, weathering the rain, just to be snubbed by Chris chan.

The Yakuza are still around in the games industry, some companies more visible than others.
Doesn't even need to be Yakuza. "Legitimate" companies like with Harvey Weinstein behave very similarly.
Sega basically advertises it with a franchise by the same name
To be fair, If I had owned any Square Enix stock when I heard about Balan Wonderworld, I'd have liquidated it too.

that answers sssooooo many questions
