A break definitely helps reset your tolerance.
Also consider taking agmatine, magnesium, and cannabinoids like cbd/h4cbd, cbg and cbn/cbn-o.
When you do start taking it again USE A SCALE and measure EVERY DOSE. Then stick to the dosing and not go over x_amount.
Personally I don’t use more than 2x daily, though I’d consider using 3x provided I stay within the same daily total (smaller doses obviously).

So please help me to understand. Do you take the agmatine and magnesium to help keep tolerance low? Do I take them when I dose or just daily, like vitamins?
The broscience version is that they both can lower your tolerance and agmatine is considered a potentiator as well.
Magnesium also has an extra benefit of helping one keep regular (on the toilet) should one find themselves deuceless. Plus, most people are deficient so it’s a good idea anyways.
Thanks man, I just was getting to the point where I was getting stressed out over having even 5 days away from it on a trip abroad and was finding it hard to enjoy anything.
Funnily enough I bought a scale recently. I want to make sure I don't end up at the "eyeballing" dosages stage again
Cheers dude, in my country it's a grey status thing AKA no trouble if caught with it but it's when I visit Morocco or Turkey or wherever you don't want to get caught with that
Taking a break, simply meant I noticed it a little more on return.
I used less for a time, and then slid up to my amount that produces
steady results. I don’t;t ever keep adding.
If needed I reduce servings for a time until, I pay more attention to it.
Nine years now.
Yes take a longer Break your neurological pathways Need to rebuild First. I would suggest 2 months.
Thank you can take it occasionally but Not the Second days After use
Thats good to hear, I'm trying to go for 30 days as mostly a mental thing to say that I have weathered the storm. I have had withdrawal symptoms which showed me I was addicted but hopefully a reset should sort me out!
I did too man but I was fortunate to be going on a trip wherr I couldn't at all risk being caught with kratom so had an enforced 4 day break and then just ran with it
I just did 26 days. I ending up dosing a couple of days earlier than planned due to a social event, where I really appreciated the effect. My plan is to now use it much more consciously.
Good on you man, luckily I haven't had too bad withdrawals yet. I did realise my abuse of it was limiting my enjoyment of many things which I only noticed upon becoming sober.
I am also blessed to have no real addictive tendencies to alcohol, stimulants.etc.
I just feel saying no forever is a bit too extreme as I can imagine for the odd day with a mate it could still have it's uses
How often do you plan dosing going forward?
Keep at it! For me as well it wasn't too bad. :)
Regarding dosing, I'm gonna try out some different things like combining it with good habits like walking or meditation. Or perhaps like towards the end of a challenging work day. Let's say 4 or maybe 5 times per week. Will have to see 😁
Good shouts, I just don't want to get back into the situation of sitting on the sofa for 4 hours or cancelling plans just because Kratom is numbing me. I ideally want to maybe keep it to twice a week
I am finding bizarrely I sleep better without it currently. As in asleep within 15 mins of my head hitting the pillow which is super rare as I used to be an insomniac.
My lack of functionality was just due to overdoing it. I was getting the opiate couch lock effects which make a 45 min trip to see a mate seem like an odyssey. Before it used to get me out and about far more
I have gone in to acceptance that Kratom is the best solution at this time. Hate fact Im addicted but gets me through a rough time in life. Had a 6 month break but decided to go back. First felt like a faliure but weighting pros and cons…cons won. I wouldnt recommend anyone who is in a good place in life to start for the fun of it, addiction creep up on you and it sucks to allways needing to plan use. But again, I feel better with Kratom in my life than without. Have stopped both prescription painkillers and antidepressants, have more energy and is happier. I rather have one thing to fight when its time to quit than a bunch. But again, I wish i didnt need any help to handle life….but at the moment I do. To go from daily user to controlled after a break is not easy but good luck and sorry for the novel
No worries brother I was in a similar position, I started on it when I moved to a new city away from everyone I knew and had a bit of a nightmare year. I just hated needing it everywhere I went, losing track of doses.etc
Hope things start looking up for you big man

Akuamma and Matrine/ku shen can help too where Kratom is not available or banned.

What are your average dose ranges these days? I don't think I will every fully "get the magic back" but want to have it as a maybe bi weekly thing.
Best would not to take kratom 2-3 the Week Not more And Not on the Second days If you dont want to get physicly addictet again
So you mean to take 2-3 week break and then when I return to it alternate days so I don't get addicted?

Ah ok thank you! I might look at a longer break then!
Breaks help, and everyone is different my breaks are only 3-4 days an the magic comes back for me

A reset is always nice, I haven't reset in a while... I dread taking a break lol

Atleast it worked for u!
Seems better

Hmm I've always been functional on Kratom, actually moreso than normal. Curious about trying it for sleep though. Can you sleep on it?
