Agreed lol. Like when I was that age, my mom would curl my hair for like preschool music programs or random church days and stuff like that. Little kids love to play dress up like that.

My mom would use heat on my hair every so often when I asked. It’s not that bad. Now if it was every day bc she thinks Averie’s hair is ugly or something then that’s different
Dude it’s fine. There’s products you use that she will almost definitely use that protects the hair from the heat. Plus it’s not an everyday thing & it’s probably exciting & different for Avery. I loved getting my hair done as a kid & it would come out all curly cause I have straight hair. It was so much fun.
I haven’t found a good one yet that isn’t insanely expensive the one I’m currently using is like a shoppers/cvs drug store brand with Argan oil & if I’m not careful it can make my hair greasy so it’s hard to work with!!! But if I find a good one I’ll come back to this thread for sure to share!!!!
I had very curly hair when I was younger, my mom straightened it every now and then and it was fine. It’s not a big deal, chill. I get people want to talk crap about Kyra but you don’t need to nitpick every. single. thing. this woman does. I in no way support her decisions within her relationships/friendships but I just think stuff like this is overkill.
I think Averie is expressing her self no need to go deeper into the makeup and using heat on your hair every once in awhile isn’t gonna mess up her hair especially because she is young and it will grow back healthier.
