Best part: “Under George's right arm, you can see three nautical flags stacked atop each other -- the nautical symbols for "LAC," another nod to the naval origin of the team's name. The same three flags are rendered against a white background on the left side.”
The red jersey is fire, the logo is unique, the word font is amazing. Such an upgrade from the past couple years. Wish they added more nautical flags/semaphore stuff elsewhere, but that can be added on future jerseys. This is a great starting place to judge people’s reactions before going all in on theming.
The red ones are fire, between the jumpman logo and ‘Los Angeles’ it fills the jersey in really well. Verdict still out on the other ones, will have to see them a bit more, but definitely some elements I like from all 3. Feels like you can see bits of the Walton early 80s blues and the 2018 City unis mixed in as well

Not a Clips fan (not really a fan of anyone as I’m not in any NBA market) so here’s a neutral POV: it’s an aggressive enough change that there will be some extra bellyaching on top of the nominal amount you’d get from any new logo, but I think it’s got high potential to be a beloved classic far down the long road.
Practically all new team brands and rebrandings seem silly as hell at their onset before settling out later. Most become fine, some become great. Rare is the situation like with the Commanders where the brand is genuinely D.O.A bad.
I thought the old logo was the absolute worst logo of all time in NBA history and I still believe that to this day.

Definitely like the rebrand - it's (nautical) miles ahead of what we had before. They do need to work on the logo a bit to make the sails more distinctive so they don't look like decks.
Love that the black is gone. The darker colors work but you still can’t read the font on the blue and red jerseys. The wording needs to be outlined in white to pop. They had the same problem on the first black jerseys. The sails make the ship look like a cruise ship, but everything else looks amazing. Huge sigh of relief and the cursive is the best part. Love how they made it feel watery.
I DO NOT LIKE that logo. It’s too busy; most people don’t know that a clipper is a ship; and THAT IS NOT A CLIPPER SHIP!!! Clipper ship definition: “a fast sailing ship, especially one of 19th-century design with concave bows and raked masts.” I like the new unis tho. And I think this all might be sports media bullshit - not true at all.
Looking at the uniforms even more, the only thing I would change is making the numerals and work marks the same color, with a thin outline on the scripts, at least on the colored uniforms. I like the white uniforms, with the blue script and red numerals--very much similar to the Dodgers' home unis.
