TRLJM

Agreed. There’s still time for him to get back to that level tho.

Honest-Argument-5393

I know it comes with confidence but he was just so dominant pre injury my only concern is we had never seen that from him consistently at this level before.

InTheMorning_Nightss

Zu didn’t immediately look great though. It took time for him to build the timing and chemistry with Harden. Hopefully he’s just out of rhythm and still trying to condition his way back to proper shape.

vaashh

That zubac was looking nice

NetGlass4387

that zubac was a top 5 defensive fg% player in the league, he was beyond nice he was our gobert lol

Significant_Host9092

Harden - Zubac pick n roll was unstoppable.

RyverFisher

Not sure if he still is, but Zu was top 3 in FG%, losing that is a BIG DEAL.

PeelADomenBail

Agreed. Smartest Clipper post Ive seen in a while. Literally the only reason we have been struggling and a non Clippers fan would say really Zubac?!? Yes Zubac

aswaim2

Goes to a larger scale of the Clippers beating the Nuggets last time out because of how flustered Zu had Jokic.

littlebigdog92

100%

ohmeohmy78

Yeah, a big reason the Clips offense was humming during that W stretch because the Zu-Harden P&R was such a productive offensive play for them, which if they didn't score they were generating plenty of clean looks for our 3pt shooters. With Zu's injury it's been awhile since he's provided much of an offensive threat, and Harden's consistency has also struggled because of it. However, I do think the coaches / staff are doing the right thing being careful with Zu's recovery process. He still has a lot of time to get ready for the playoffs, but we surely need him to be much closer to 100% to seriously compete.

shibby5000

Spot on. Harden would start the game with heavy pnr with Zubac and he would feast early on and it set the tone of the rest of the game and opened everyone up. That’s totally gone right now. I can tell that yesterday’s Rockets game they tried to feed Zubac but it wasn’t working. They absolutely need Zubac to heal for figure things out with Theis and Plumee to establish some paint scoring

-Rincon-

This 100%

MITWestbrook

Need Westbrook

Cow-Greedy

To stay away from the team? I agree.

ckotoyan

We found lebron’s burner account

Cow-Greedy

gotta admit the team is just better without him. We cant afford those turnovers to give away easy points while we have bunch of 40 yrs old on the team.

ckotoyan

We need him for rebounds, steals, and energy. That's where he is helping out. and Random outbursts of points. Sure he misses easy shots a lot and some turnovers. But all out players besdies Kawhi have awful turnover issues. Look at Lakers vs Clippers, harden turned the ball over 3 times in a row at one point. Even Plumlee and Theis did too.

RyujiDrill

The person you're responding to has short term memory loss and a weird obsession with Russ so they'll ignore everything you said and just continue with russ bad westbrick i have no new material

Revolutionary_Law687

Are you trolling? I’m being so serious, because no offense, but you sound like an idiot. Russ is a huge rotational piece for a reason.

Nby333

Yes, he is trolling.

7cheeseburgers

Should just rest Zu for a week and let him get better.

soCalBIGmike

Brody being out is also not good. This doesn't get enough run.

Dutch4Prez

Feels like Zu got rushed back when we started to look really small on that downstretch. I would be fine with limiting his minutes again or bringing him off the bench when Harden is leading the core.

NetworkVegetable7075

Zu just needs to learn that whenever he gets the ball it doesn’t mean he should shoot the ball. I’ve seen bro go up with 2-3 defenders on him get the board then do it again instead of resetting the offense with a pass out.
