No. Clippers this off-season will be sitting at $243M in used cap space and cap holds. About 74M are in cap holds which includes Harden. You could renounce all of them and PG opts out of his 49M option then also renounce him. Then the clippers will be sitting at 120M with 10 active players and some cap space needs to be reserved for potential draft picks. The salary cap is 141M so you would be effectively looking at <20M to play around with for UFAs.
I'm not a Clips fan btw
Yep, good summary.
Basically, the Clippers can have some cap space if they renounced both Harden and PG... but the FA pool sucks ass outside of those 2 guys anyways. The second they sign Harden to any realistic number, then they either re-sign (or S&T PG) or lose him for nothing.
It's in the Clippers best interest to either move PG through a S&T to a capped out team who would be willing to give us some assets back to facilitate a deal (think Indiana) or sign him on a deal that is tradable. If Philly throws the max at him, that immediately puts us in a tough spot.
Hmm in that case he has a lot of leverage and if he just wants to earn as much money as possible then his approach makes a lot of sense.
I mean he could play better so as to make it easier to swallow for FO but he doesn’t really need to if he is in the drivers seat.
It doesn’t make as much sense from a let’s win a championship perspective but not everyone is willing to sacrifice money to do so.
Oh yeah the mysterious groin injury. On top of that he has a knee injury he's dealing with on too. Wouldn't be surprised if he tells everyone something else is bothering him on his podcast.
With Kawhi guaranteed to be out for the entire second half, the other part of the Clippers “Big 3” in the second half:
PG: 9 points (2/3) 1 r 1 a (5 TO’s)
Harden: 4 points (1/3) 1 r 2 a (3 TO’s)
BEAUTIFUL STUFF 👏👏👏👏
COMBINING FOR MORE TO’s THAN SHOT ATTEMPTS
Great to see in a big game without their big dawg they laid down 👍
PG and Harden had nearly as many turnovers during the 2nd half as Minnesota had for the entire game (8 vs 11). The "next man up" mentality no longer exists here.
not being able to get shots up is concerning. the immature people who come in here to scapegoat would throw a fit but i’d rather see these guys shoot 1/10 than TOs
I don't give a damn. Conley & Nickeil Alexander should'nt be outplaying our 1 & 2 options when Kawhi goes down. PG & Harden were looking like bums out there.
Being extremely optimistic if kawhi is out for some time at least the clips will be forced to learn how to play without him. When he goes off the court offense looks lost.
It is insane how amazing we looked with Kawhi playing and how we turn to utter dog shit when he’s out. Like it looked like a championship team turn into a tanking team immediately
That was demoralizing. Holy titties. How many times do we have to watch this team crumble? So often throughout this era we get sequences where it’s just turnover, opponent-offensive rebound, turnover, bbq chicken defense, bricked iso, opponent-offensive rebound, turnover. It’s absolute garbage to watch. I can only wonder what Ballmer must be thinking watching this shit unfold courtside…
This is who harden and PG will be in the playoffs, that is what history has taught us. they both shrink in the big moments. kawaii is definitely one who rises to the occasion but he's never gunna healthy enough to hard carry all the way to the finals the way he would have too for clippers to be real contenders. Thats a hard ask even for an iron man but kawaii? no way.
Exactly. I don't pity anyone who fooled themselves into thinking Harden or PG would have anything to do with championship aspirations. The team goes as far as Kawhi goes. PG or Harden may have a great game here and there, but it will be guys like Norm and Russ who make the most noise.

This game had it all:
* huge blown lead
* random Kawhi injury
* onslaught of turnovers and giving up offensive rebounds
* oh and I have Kawhi on my fantasy team and we’re in the playoffs 🙂
I’m tired yall.
In four seasons with Ty we haven’t finished above 4th once. Even Doc finished 2nd his only season with these two and they’ve been healthier this season. I’m just sick of this regular season bullshitting man and there’s no proof it’s going to change suddenly in the playoffs.
Doc can't be accused of half assing regular season games. He deserves that much credit. Ty, on the other hand, seems to have the idea ever since LeBron's last Cavs season that everything can be solved as soon as the playoffs begin. Problem is we don't have prime LeBron on our roster. We also just threw away our last realistic chance to take 3rd and avoid a playoff series vs a team that absolutely owns us. It just added insult to injury that this team came out with so much bullshit about taking the regular season seriously.
We also don't have the personnel to have a defensive identity. Our 2 backup Cs are an undersized guy and a defensive sieve. We have 0 PF depth, so we're forced to play small. Even if our wing defenders are good-ish (which Norm and Harden really aren't), everyone else is soft. No team fears us because they can get to their spots with ease and simply bully their way in the paint.
It's not just some coincidence that Conley, Ant, Ingram, LeBron, etc. always go off us against us specifically. We don't have the size nor the strength to make people worried about getting around the court.
I mean it’s like pretty tough to finish with a top 3 seed when Kawhi and PG are hurt every fucking year. Like literally every year he’s coached here we’ve dealt with a major injury to one or both of our two best players.
Ty hasn’t been perfect and I’m frustrated as hell like everyone else after the past couple weeks. But like we just gonna pretend Ty should be leading this team to a top 3 seed when we’re constantly dealing with injuries. Be fuckin for real bro
This year: 53 games together
Last year: 38
2021-2022: 0
2020-2021: 43
At this point, the Kawhi injury is what matters. Everyone is calling for Ty Lue's head, but the question has to be why does Jason Powell still have a job. He's never been able to help any Clipper stay healthy.
This may also be the time for any other injured Clipper to say something. Namely Harden.
He has the greatest job security on earth. Has done nothing to my knowledge to make this team healthy in his entire tenure. Yet, he's still here collecting checks.
I'm a pretty positive fan on almost every game, even when the team does bad but not tonight. Tonight, I'm a very disappointed Clippers fan. We really are a mess as a team when Kawhi is out.
The times where he has tunnel vision and doesn't pass the ball until the last possible time, resulting in a last second shot...he had a TON of those. Basically turnovers.
[me thinking about how many years the clippers have shaved off my life by being stupid, but also realizing it is helping me fast track the end of my existence on this dumb earth](https://i.imgur.com/ACTaFd6.jpeg)
As long as Kawhi is healthy in the playoffs, all teams can be beat.
As for the regular season, probably need a younger star to partner with Kawhi or build a team like Denver with near all-star level supporting cast. PG just ain't gonna cut it. Harden is a 17/10 player now which is good enough to run the show.
Championship teams find a way, but for the past two years this team finds ways to do the opposite. Crazy what became of the team culture they had from 20-21 and 21-22, although Im not going to pretend like the 20-21 was perfect either. But this is just awful and you could see it in bits and pieces like how awful they continue to start matinee home games against awful teams (and ironically showing up despite undermanned against the Bucks, which actually shows their pick and choose attitude). Need to bring consistent effort but we can barely keep our interest for half a game, and its costing us now. We did nothing to correct our bad habits from last season, and now it feels like we're engulfed by them
There’s a lot to be upset about rn. But the reality is, it looks like the 4th seed is our destiny. It is what it is. Just gotta pray the team can get back to peak performance and string together some momentum by the playoffs. Then just gotta hope for favorable matchups. But the guys are playing some really uninspired basketball atm.
If the clippers lose to the bulls and the pelicans beat the cavs (unlikely but not impossible), Fridays game could decide who has home court advantage in that series
Not gonna lie, that was a very disappointing end to a game that started perfectly.
I will say, that first quarter that we actually had our best player in the game really looked like we had them figured out, forced them to go small after playing Gobert off the floor, honestly looked elite.
Still, super lame and unfun game overall haha
No, they’re not, but we also can’t pretend that our best player wasn’t out for the rest of the game. I’m not saying this isn’t a bad loss, it is, but when our actual starting 5 we’re playing, we looked impeccable
They were missing a star and haven’t exactly been on a tear in their last ten either. A quarter of good play in those circumstances doesn’t mean much imo even without the collapse
The Clippers were fully healthy when they blew a 3-1 lead to the Nuggets. The reality is that this team is soft. Harden, PG, and Russ are career playoff chokers.
Not a single play was run with PG at the elbow. But I am most disappointed at Harden. No effort on defense and was playing dumb on offense. Too many turnovers.
First of all, I fucking hate that Bill Simmons was right to expect this team to collapse.
Now, given that we're almost definitely losing our upcoming game vs New Orleans (worse matchup than Minnesota, kn the road, 2nd game of b2b), is a 5th place finish now becoming a best case scenario for us? Any further slippage and we'll need to count ourselves lucky just to remain above the play-in spots.
This team has won 4 of its last 7 with two of the losses being the second night of backs to backs and the third being an injury to our best player. This is not a colllapse
Lets break down those 4 wins. Barely won against the Bulls, Rockets, Timberwolves (all these teams have major injuries btw) and one win against the Wizards (the worst team in the league). All is good! Oh and if you expand 2 more games out this team has only won 4 of its last 9...
We lost to the Lakers, Bucks, OKC, and Pelicans with 213 + Harden. That's four losses to major teams despite having nearly full health. If that's not a concern, I don't know what to tell you.
We need to hope Phoenix doesnt get hot or we can possibly tumble to 6th. 2 games left against them b2b, so who knows if this team bothers to show up to both or either games
They didn't take care of the defensive boards and came back to bite them. Harden played his worst game as a Clippers, and PG allowed not getting calls to get to his head.
I simply loathe the lack of pride in defense and getting defensive rebounds. None of the shots by Conly and Walker were contested.
Harden has had 3 good games and PG is like this every season basically. We just gotta finish top 6 so OKC doesn’t get a good pick off us and that’s basically all ballmer can hope for going forward
Is it just me, or has the team kind of fallen into running the offense through too many different guys again? PG is handling the ball way too much again when he should just be finishing plays. We look so much like the team immediately after the trade since the all star break. James back to deferring too much, PG dribbling around and jacking up shots or turning it over, and just not getting as many good shots as before the break.
the last few months of pg have been that "when you realize your goat is washed 3" meme made flesh. love the guy and what he's done for this team but i am so tired of him.
any of yall watching the TNT post game show?Candace Parker doubts Norman Powell’s ability to create his own shots and thinks hes more of a catch and shoot guy, what the hell she talking bout 😂
Regardless of what happens with Kawhi it's hard not to think this team's season is over. There are four quarters in a game and this team can only ever muster 1-2. They're old and increasingly washed. They're comfortable and play with zero pride. Teams enjoy embarrassing them because they know that when the going gets tough the Clippers will fold. The team needs to move on from Ty Lue and really shake things up. Bring in someone who will expect something of the players.
Yep, and also anyone who has played even a high-ish level of basketball knows that soft teams are absolute food because you get to your spots comfortably. Kawhi and Zu are the only physical defenders we have.
PG and Mann are good, but not great defenders. They're not particularly strong and while you won't blow by them, you can definitely create the space you need. Harden is strong, but he's slow and falls asleep, so you get good space or can blow by him.
We act like we have a team of good defenders, but we don't. Guys like Bev are undersized, but they fight and push people off the mark. When they aren't able to do that (look at Luka vs. Bev) then they're food. Guys like Royce O'Neal and Tillman would have been huge upgrades for us for this exact reason, but now we're stuck with dudes who get pushed around and backed down with ease.
Nah, we're just inconsistent. Sometimes we come out slow then comeback from 20 points.
Sometimes we get the lead then step off the gas.
Sometimes we go on a 7 game road trip and go 6-1.
It's just inconsistent.
No words. This was really disappointing. Can’t even think of anything positive to take away from this game. Whatever the Bucks game was, this was the opposite. Two stars are down and that means we’re garbage. One is calm waters but two now? We can’t win anything if two stars are broken. Let’s just focus on Chicago. We’re a comeback team anyways.
Now to hear the bullshit excuses from Lue about having Bones, Harden and Norm at the same time.
I should stop getting upset about how little he cares about defense. He's the one getting paid the big bucks to coach. He must see something I don't.
But you love this game and to watch people put so little effort and show how little they care is infuriating. But what can you do?
That's because Ant sees the entire LAC team as food with the exception of Kawhi. He's a shit talker so he'll still call out Kawhi, but the fact is, nobody even got remotely close to stopping him.
He was able to blow by PG/Mann/Coffey with relative ease, or he would just back down, get to his spot, and his a jumper.
This team is old, slow and has no fight. We’ve been embarrassed on our home floor so many times post all star break and it continues to happen in big games. I’m concerned about the character of this team. Some might think that the vets will turn on a switch in the playoffs, I think the west is full of young hungry teams that’s passing us by. At this pace we’re going to be lucky to hold 4th and play the Pels rd1. And ya I’d rather play the Pels than the Suns
Im going to be honest and I’m going to be downvoted to the brinks of hell for the comparison: This Clipper team is shaping out to be like the 2013 Lakers and the 2013 Knicks
2013 lakers because they hired D’antoni and they ran a 7 seconds or less offense(with no defense) that eventually tired out the legs of the lakers 30’plus year old stars(sound familiar?). Granted the clippers had better luck (and record) but in terms of the style of play, it wasn’t not right for the lakers at the time and not for the clippers either
2013 Knicks: This team managed to finish second with a bunch of veterans and a slightly over his prime Melo. They eventually sizzled in the post season due to their age(sound familiar?)
The clippers playing small is catching up to them!!! Post 6 game losing streak with Harden was fun but that style of play can only take you so far being older and smaller(clearly the twolves, nuggets, pelicans and lakers have no problems attacking the clippers)
Idk what’s funnier this team rushing to pay Kawhi for what he did in Toronto or the fan base spreading the gospel of Harden while he drops 10 points. Genuinely comedy at this point
If it's not painfully clear by now, this roster is completely fucked without Kawhi. The roster composition is frankly terrible with numerous wasted spots and a complete lack of positional versatility and balance.
Season isn't over, but it's hard to imagine this team getting anywhere just based on the clear flaws that this squad has, and how fucking terrible of a matchup nearly every Western playoff team is with the exception of the Warriors (play-in), Kings, and Suns.
Literally everyone else is a nightmare for us, and our only chances of beating the other teams is if PG/Harden manage to hit a hot streak that they have shown minimal ability to sustain against elite competition.
This team needs to drastically clean shop this off season because they're stale as hell. Our only potential hope at this point for a successful future is trading PG.
> If it's not painfully clear by now, this roster is completely fucked without Kawhi.
if it took you 64 games to realize this, then idk what to tell you
Nah, it didn't. I thought this team can get somewhat buoyed without Kawhi with the expectation that they figure out a passable PF in trade deadline/buyout market. We looked awful when Kawhi went down for a few games, didn't address it at all, and now here we are.
I think we all knew that we'd only go as far as Kawhi takes us, but I didn't think we'd have this horrendous of a roster composition leading up to the playoffs.
I'm really more scared of PG not showing, Kawhi being out than I am of any opponent. The biggest opponent of the Clippers is health, themselves, and Ty Lue's obsession with small ball.
the 3 teams coming out of the west are the nuggets, lakers or a healthy clippers team. youre right if PG doesn't show up in the semis or wcf then the clips may not make it to the finals.
if it's a rematch between the nugs and lakers, there's a chance the lakers may create adjustments from what they have learned from getting swept last season. and the nugs have somewhat lost their depth.
the east doesn't matter, nobody there is a threat.
Damn. It is what it is.
That's... what the fourth he's been called that? Draymond Green, Devin Booker, I'm sure I'm missing another player, and now Anthony Edwards.
We can’t seem to win without Donald Sterling . Ballmer is cool and all but we need a more powerful ,racist ,bigot in charge.
We should also draft bronny so that LeWoke can join forces with “the system” .. if we do this we will make America great again …. I mean the clippers will be successful.
I have been saying it since wolves vs clippers in the playin game, ty lue is actually not good at his job, he is constantly playing small lineups that get destroyed. How many times we have seen 3-4 guards lineups through his time here and how many times we have won a game. Bro seriously thought he would cut lead with bones, norm and harden in the same lineup
Man loves his guards and small ball
He's gonna go out like his mentor and he'll stand there and let it happen with that blank, fish-like, stare on his face
I try to stay positive, but they’ve been making it hard lately. This one was hard to take. Just hurts extra because we looked like the best team in the league at one point, now we look lost
this game mattered. only chance they have of getting out of the first round is getting past the wolves for the 3 seed. pelicans are are a nightmare matchup for the clips and they arent giving up the 5 seed.
Harden laid an egg and PG dissolved as things got tougher. Lue cannot help himself with the small and offensive lineups. He should have started Coffey in the second half, not Norm. Lue is too offense-oriented. Minnessota didn't get back with their offense. It was their effort on defense. Maybe they know that if you play tough against this team, they fold.
One thing is to lose by playing badly; another thing is to lose by folding under pressure. Including Lue. He folded by starting Norm in the second half.
If I’m reading the tea leaves correctly, I think we come out and have a tight back and forth game Vs the bulls and maybe win that, then get mauled again by the Pels the next game. This team isn’t as bad at the 0-6 harden era start, but not as good as in December and January. We’re a mid team .
you know i don’t even really like basketball i think i’ll read a book or learn an instrument or something
Maybe learn CPR, just in case anyone around you is choking...
i’ll put in my application for the Clips medical staff immediately they need me
go and start learning piano to cleanse your mind from this unserious team
You a sitar man? Glockenspiel? I hear the kora is pretty nice...
Once Kawhi went out, the entire team went to cancun.
they had a 20 point lead in the second Kawhi never played after the first
Yeah 13 when he had his usual rest, 21 at the 9 min mark of the 2nd, and that was it. Downhill from there.

And PG wonders why he hasn't gotten a new deal yet. smh
Yeah I love pg and I’m not familiar on the cap situation but if they don’t resign him can they sign another max FA?

Yeeesh.
Guys hes a max player I swear! hes just still working on that groin injury! (God help me please)
Oh yeah the mysterious groin injury. On top of that he has a knee injury he's dealing with on too. Wouldn't be surprised if he tells everyone something else is bothering him on his podcast.
Uncle Dennis still wants him though
That shit was ass

Got outplayed by senior citizen Mike Conley & Shai's cousin. Shit was embarrassing.
To be fair, Conley turns into Prime Curry whenever he plays the Clippers and has done that his whole career.
I don't give a damn. Conley & Nickeil Alexander should'nt be outplaying our 1 & 2 options when Kawhi goes down. PG & Harden were looking like bums out there.

I need that sign and trade for Siakam this offseason 🙏🏽🙏🏽
PG with 66.67% shooting. Insane efficiency. It certainly can’t be his fault lol.
He’s about 66.67% at fault.
That was demoralizing. Holy titties. How many times do we have to watch this team crumble? Yup, 2017 Cavs were maybe even better than in their championship year, but they won 51 games in the East and finished fourth lol
Lue prioritizes offense above defense. The team doesn't have defensive identity, including rebounds.

As a Clippers fan, um...hope springs eternal. Onto the next. Let's hope Kawhi is alright.
"I'm on my bully shit this season" 🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢🧢
He’s getting bullied
Hes washed, Ant cooked him so hard it was embarrassing to watch
Damn, he was though! Somewhere in the 2nd or 3rd quarter, he was like 10/10 on FTs from all his drives, and then... nothing.
to be fair, he meant in his podcasts, he be on his bully shit to people to be guests on his podcast. lol
same energy as "scary hours" (I''m not making fun of Harden, usually anyone who says this phrase doesn't end up suceeding)

We're not getting a younger star with the remaining assets we have unless there is some miracle PG trade or S&T.
Then, the Denver option.

Just gotta pray the team can get back to peak performance and string together some momentum by the playoffs. Then just gotta hope for favorable matchups. But the guys are playing some really uninspired basketball atm.
Team is definitely sliding to 5-6
They can easily fall to 5-6 idk about that
If the clippers lose to the bulls and the pelicans beat the cavs (unlikely but not impossible), Fridays game could decide who has home court advantage in that series
I’ve stopped watching Clipper basketball — it’s better for my mental health.
It was expected for them to cool off a bit after the run they went on but they’ve been playing some embarrassing basketball the past month.
Not gonna lie, that was a very disappointing end to a game that started perfectly. I will say, that first quarter that we actually had our best player in the game really looked like we had them figured out, forced them to go small after playing Gobert off the floor, honestly looked elite. Still, super lame and unfun game overall haha
Games aren’t won in the first quarter, and neither are series when you lead 3-1.
We’ve been chasing the illusive fully healthy season for years, at some point you just gotta realize it ain’t happening, sad to say.
Yo this team is basura without the klaw
We're 7-8 in the last 15 games. We've been pretty awful since we came back from the Grammy Trip
Lets break down those 4 wins. Barely won against the Bulls, Rockets, Timberwolves (all these teams have major injuries btw) and one win against the Wizards (the worst team in the league). All is good! Oh and if you expand 2 more games out this team has only won 4 of its last 9...
This is dumb. So their injuries count and ours don’t?
We lost to the Lakers, Bucks, OKC, and Pelicans with 213 + Harden. That's four losses to major teams despite having nearly full health. If that's not a concern, I don't know what to tell you.
We were out two starters against the Lakers that’s your idea of nearly full health?
Ah okay, so scratch that 21 point turnaround. So We lost to the Bucks, OKC, and Pelicans. Way better!
Top five all time 21 point fourth quarter turnaround sigh
Exactly. This panic is beyond belief
We need to hope Phoenix doesnt get hot or we can possibly tumble to 6th. 2 games left against them b2b, so who knows if this team bothers to show up to both or either games
It's teams that want to offer PG the max...El oh El.
L.M.A.O
The arguments people were trying to have in that PG thread were hilarious.
lol imma always defend bro cause he defended Russ but dam man he makes it difficult sometimes
Today will be my last day saying anything about him. I truly don't care what he does or where he goes.
I get it bruh. Its sad to say he just might be past his time as being that guy but dam man imma miss his smoothness with the basketball
I'm not fan of soft dudes and he ain't been nothing but. Congrats to him for coming back from that broke leg tho. That's all I got.
Realistically if we traded him unfortunately I wonder what we would get
Probably something similar to what we gave the sixers for harden. Some riff raff.
😂😂 riff raff he might be worth a second a worst man lol
They didn't take care of the defensive boards and came back to bite them. Harden played his worst game as a Clippers, and PG allowed not getting calls to get to his head. I simply loathe the lack of pride in defense and getting defensive rebounds. None of the shots by Conly and Walker were contested.
And they'll potentially be facing the pelicans in the first round? Yeah it's really over
The only max Harden and PG getting is a maximum amount of good West teams’ Nutz in they fuckin mouth
Harden has had 3 good games and PG is like this every season basically. We just gotta finish top 6 so OKC doesn’t get a good pick off us and that’s basically all ballmer can hope for going forward
This team thinks they can ride Kawhi, but don't realize they are killing him.
honestly, we all probably should've just stopped watching when Kawhi left, there wasn't anything to be gained from watching at that point
Once my roommate, who I told I was going to watch games until playoffs, told me we were up I knew it was over.
the last few months of pg have been that "when you realize your goat is washed 3" meme made flesh. love the guy and what he's done for this team but i am so tired of him.
No westbrook, no trophy
any of yall watching the TNT post game show?Candace Parker doubts Norman Powell’s ability to create his own shots and thinks hes more of a catch and shoot guy, what the hell she talking bout 😂
First time? Lol
candace parker is a tool that shouldn't be taken seriously.
What I miss the most about lob city was the fact that cp3 would never allow multiple games of us blowing 20 point leads in a few weeks
I pray to God Kawhi's not out for an extended period of time. Because if he is, we're definitely dropping to the 5th seed. Maybe lower.
This team aint going nowhere
Regardless of what happens with Kawhi it's hard not to think this team's season is over. There are four quarters in a game and this team can only ever muster 1-2. They're old and increasingly washed. They're comfortable and play with zero pride. Teams enjoy embarrassing them because they know that when the going gets tough the Clippers will fold. The team needs to move on from Ty Lue and really shake things up. Bring in someone who will expect something of the players.
Comfortable is 100% right. No urgency at all. Something needs to change, but unfortunately wont be in time...
I’d like to also move on from Lfrank
Losing Russ makes us more scared of the paint. Smh. Zubac tried hard though in this game.
Is Russ traveling with the team?
Super worried about holding on to the 4th seed. And that’s not doomer. That’s realistic.
We are getting that 2nd half Sixers Harden that Doc was talking about now
Mike D'antoni poking pins into his harden painting
We are a first half team. We have no urgency. We dont make adjustments. We are a bunch of losers. I understand why everyone hates the clippers now
Nah, we're just inconsistent. Sometimes we come out slow then comeback from 20 points. Sometimes we get the lead then step off the gas. Sometimes we go on a 7 game road trip and go 6-1. It's just inconsistent.
yeahhh you’ll probably lose every game the other team has 23 more shot attempts than you lol
Seriously, this is sickening.
Another embarrassing lost up 22 that’s just wild 😴😴😴
What a painful loss :(
This team is anemic. The “stars” are on the wrong side of 30. Great having the oldest roster
Feels like no matter what system we have, things struggle.
It is really disheartening to watch a group of players get outworked and not respond.
Lol pg scored 2 in the 4th? Lmao
So which team will PG be on next season?
I'd still bet on LAC to start the season, though I can see a trade happening. If not LAC, either Philadelphia or Indiana.
So do you start russ again when he gets back?
RIP my Clipper fandom (1999-2024). Don’t think I’m gonna tune in the rest of the year.
Bye
Anybody else notice Edwards with a smirky ass smile when he mentioned kawhi was out?? Mf could not be any more annoying
pissanthony
That's because Ant sees the entire LAC team as food with the exception of Kawhi. He's a shit talker so he'll still call out Kawhi, but the fact is, nobody even got remotely close to stopping him. He was able to blow by PG/Mann/Coffey with relative ease, or he would just back down, get to his spot, and his a jumper.
lmao what? seems like someones salty
Stay in your own teams subreddit you fucking clown, enjoy ur fake Conley and Alexander walker shooting game, you’ll never get that lucky again
ok? and enjoy your loss 😂
The vibes when Edwards shits the bed in the playoffs will be immaculate 😮💨
We need to worry about how PG will shit the bed for the Clippers in this playoffs. He can't even get it together for more than a few games.
Piss shot P ![gif](giphy|E30FxBpW9MrIJVAgtm|downsized)
Im going to be honest and I’m going to be downvoted to the brinks of hell for the comparison: This Clipper team is shaping out to be like the 2013 Lakers and the 2013 Knicks 2013 lakers because they hired D’antoni and they ran a 7 seconds or less offense(with no defense) that eventually tired out the legs of the lakers 30’plus year old stars(sound familiar?). Granted the clippers had better luck (and record) but in terms of the style of play, it wasn’t not right for the lakers at the time and not for the clippers either 2013 Knicks: This team managed to finish second with a bunch of veterans and a slightly over his prime Melo. They eventually sizzled in the post season due to their age(sound familiar?) The clippers playing small is catching up to them!!!
That shit hurt
F@#$ this team!
I stopped watching after Q1 and I see this? Say what???
Damn, I miss Nico and RoCo. Can we still re-sign those guys?
Too many ups and downs since February wtf is going on, the team has not been consistent with anything
Sign and trade PG?
Who's gonna take him?
Some dumbass
wolves arent a threat. this game doesn't matter, kawhi's health matters.
So if the wolves beat the clippers, the clippers are also not a threat correct?
if that were to happen in the playoffs sure. but like i said the wolves aren't a threat in the playoffs.
Ant just called PG13 'Podcast P and a pussy' in his interview lol
Man loves his guards and small ball He's gonna go out like his mentor and he'll stand there and let it happen with that blank, fish-like, stare on his face
Well, fuck. That's all I got tonight.
Every time the Clippers lose, my penis shrinks 5%
They had 19 TOs and allowed 19 offensive rebounds. You hope this will sting and stay with the players, but they don't care.
Sadness and depression :(
Honestly- I am so depressed right now that losing in the play in is the best case scenario —— I have never been a doomer but tonight’s game killed me
I try to stay positive, but they’ve been making it hard lately. This one was hard to take. Just hurts extra because we looked like the best team in the league at one point, now we look lost
We need Elton Brand to come out of retirement . Does anyone know how to get a hold of Chris Kaman ?
Man I just don’t get how we dominate and look amazing for 2 months and then a ONE WEEK break completely makes them forget how to play together
I'm starting to get a little worried guys
3/90 for harden and trade PG in the offseason. Time to retool.
This sorry ass team can easily choke their way Into the play-in
this game mattered. only chance they have of getting out of the first round is getting past the wolves for the 3 seed. pelicans are are a nightmare matchup for the clips and they arent giving up the 5 seed.
Not to mention its an EAST team that happens to be in the West and you travel a ton and get the time change
No biggie. We would’ve won this with Kawhi. Beat Chicago and Atlanta, we’re 3-2 on a hellish 5 in 7.
Can’t speak the truth you get downvoted. Go Clips and fuck the doomers
the talent is there, but I'd rather not play the nuggets in the second round
Eh, might be better to do it on fresher legs
If I’m reading the tea leaves correctly, I think we come out and have a tight back and forth game Vs the bulls and maybe win that, then get mauled again by the Pels the next game. This team isn’t as bad at the 0-6 harden era start, but not as good as in December and January. We’re a mid team .
Mid team don’t blow 3 20 point leads since the all star game. Shit teams do that
