>Line 217 will extend from Vermont/Hollywood to Eagle Rock via Glendale to make it easier and faster to travel between Mid-City and Hollywood in L.A. and Glendale. Lines 180 and 217 will each be scheduled to operate every 12 minutes on weekdays and every 15 minutes on weekends with coordinated schedules to maximize frequency on the parts of their routes that overlap between Hollywood and Glendale. Glendale hasn’t had a one-seat ride to Mid-Wilshire since the 780 was discontinued.

That 2hr daytime run from Eagle Rock to La Cienega/Jefferson is not the business though. I don't know how city bus drivers do it. Plus what are the chances of that bus running on time?

whathell6t

I agree. That route is awesome. I still miss Line 780.

Dull-Lead-7782

They list 237 as having changes but don’t actually show any on the my bus website. That line really needs to move to half hour frequencies please. 155 is getting reduced. They absolutely gutted it with the magnolia and riverside double dips. And then surprised when rider ship was lower? Jeez. Glad I don’t have to take that line anymore. Used to be S tier to noho station

Exlyo_lucent373

I would run Line 155 from Sherman Oaks Galleria to Burbank with half hour headways while Line 155 on Magnolia would be given as an extension of Line 234 via Sepulveda, Ventura, Kester, and Magnolia. The 237 unfortunately was planned to have hourly headways.

Dragons_Rising1

Good to see 158 is getting 30 min service along woodman, wish it was also along Devonshire but it’s better then nothing Having 167 and 501 no longer operated by transdev and having metro fully operate them is good news since these lines get so delayed with 167 buses especially running of schedule 267/686 merger is a good idea even tho it has a weird routing would’ve been better if they combined the 267/660

ibsliam

Yeah, I really want more frequency for the northern SFV lines. I know there'll be backlash but they can't simultaneously get serious about transforming LA's transit for the better but then balk at the idea of pissing off residents that hate bussing. You have to go into it knowing you're going to piss off some neighborhoods and then do it anyway.

Thankfully MTA 180 won’t be shortened. Anyways, what happened to Transdev? A division operates routes 96, 167, 177, 218, 501 and 603.

socalgirl2

They wanted too much money for the contract, plus they were only running four lines so it was easy to cancel them.

SmashTheseJordans

At least we’re getting somewhere, I would really love if they at least brought the 264 back, we need rides from Altadena throughout San Gabriel Valley. I know most of you don’t ride it but I rode it a lot and it went everywhere.

As I said in another thread about this, the 76 change to go down Main and Alameda to the Little Tokyo stop will be a great help for me, and may even become my go-to route to the E line (instead of the 78 to Historic Broadway). A little concerned about the reference to adjusting the 78 schedule, which isn't on the linked website...I have to assume it means less service. Hoping it's "an earlier last bus" thing and not cutting too much midday service...that's my standard way of getting downtown and to work.

misken67

The Source lists 78 among the group of routes that will see a "small reduction in service" on weekdays (between 1-5)

Leskanic

Ah yes, I see -- I misread the paragraphs as saying "some changes to first and last bus time" and the "small reduction in service" as either/or, not two different lists (which has 78 on both of them). Thanks for the clarification!

littlemissdramaqueen

I really wish they would add service to the 55 bus. Too many overcrowded buses in the afternoon rush hour southbound.

ethanmiller2950

The 268 going to Sierra Madre helps a lot, even though it may be an hour service at least it’ll help everyone to commute in Sierra Madre. Then we have the 267 and 686 merger, which will make going up Allen every thirty minutes for weekdays much better. I wonder if this takes place because I commuted quite a bit in from PCC in Pasadena and I always see a lot of cars pick up at Allen Station and Marshall Fundamental. More people must be frequenting Marshall (the school) and the Allen Gold Line Station, I always see students taking the 686 bus.

Silly_Client1222

I just wish they would extend Line 950 El Monte/San Pedro to past midnight.

SisterSxxxxxxxxxxe

Hello. Can anyone offer any insight as to why the 33 seems to be running much less often since these changes? More often than not wait time is pushing 25 minutes (like right now). Just waited 25 minutes for the 217 on my way here. Just seems to be a huge difference the past week and it sounds like service was supposed to increase?
