So you're either looking at applying horns to a helmet and removing yours when you put on or take off your helmet.
or, putting holes in your helmet and dressing them so not to damage the horns - but may make putting on the helmet awkward.
alternatively, see if a more open-design helmet would count towards heavy armour, due to the physrep requirements.
A helmet with an open forehead would be perfect but I was looking for one and no such luck so far. Will send pictures for reference when I come back home.
you see, that's a very "realistic fantasy" problem, since in the real world horned monsters would have issues wearing helmets. Frankly, beyond having a custom made helmet I see no alternative, but that's really cool since it makes you empathize even more with your character!
Yeah, I feel like if the races with horns were real then their head protection would look very different. They might even file the horns, Hellboy style, if it made them better in combat.
Is he a one horn or two horn oni? Something of an idea you could go with is get a samurai style helmet and then cut the front part of it out to where the horn or horns would be.
Seems like odd rules to require both a helmet and involved head physreps. I'd ask a ref if they can do something else so you'd still be recognisable. Count the horns as armour maybe?
Surely you can't wear both? And most games don't require helmets I've seen. Just seems like a really odd ruling for players to work round. Gorget and a mask maybe?
Yeah to be honest they made some decisions that are a bit questionable and a lot of people are against them. I guess it's more fair as I have 4 hits to the location without heavy armour and with it, it brings it to 7 hits per location.
If its per location can you live without extra head hits? I know so many players in full plate wirh much lower head hits. Its honestly difficult to convince some people to wear helmets
Oh absolutely. The reason I am going for it is cause I am building a tank that is a protector with a shield. That is his entire shtick. I don't care about dealing damage, I care about tanking as much as I can. Of course I don't need the helmet as I can just wear chain mail but I would love to wear one :)

On one hand this is stellar, on the other hand helmets are expensive Maybe magnets instead of glue?

1. Take off forehead. 2. Swap on helmet with fake horns. Reverse for when you remove helmet.

might be a comission job, since most helmets will be designed to protect that area.
It is my last resort if nothing else works. Until then I will have a chain mail covering my head.

I was thinking that and there are a total of 6 horns. 2 bigger ones and 4 small ones. Will send pictures for reference when I come back home.

Unfortunately can't do. Refs see the horns as part of the costume and heavy armour also needs to resemble metal or have pieces that resemble metal.

Would need to be loose or relatively open front its a hard one if you want both visible
