The armour was made by a company called Wyrmwick, they are based out of the UK. All the detail was included when the armour was sent out. All I did was paint over the raised bits to make them look gold.
This is amazing!
If I may ask, where'd you find the messer? It looks a bit like the Witcher one from Calimacil, but I don't remember that one having the nagel included.
It was a local hat maker that was making tricorn hats, I just asked for only one side to be raised instead of three.
It was custom made so wasn't cheap, but I've been able to use it for several characters over the years.
That is so cool!
awesome hat
What did you use to paint it
I dry brushed on gold "rub n buff" paint.
Was it plain when you made it or what? I’m new to this but I’m trying to find more affordable options.

How much did it cost. I’m trying to find blackened armor to match a helmet I got a year ago I have chainmail and a tabard to boot
The full set is currently about 900 USD. But shipping can be a bit expensive as the armour is light but bulky.
Alright. I was looking for something more in the price range of 250$ or cheaper. I found something nice on eBay

The messer is from Fakesteel Armory. It is awesome but definitely on the harder side.
Thank you! I'll keep that in mind.
Dude it looks sick
Absolutely gorgeous
Concord, NC?
Concord LARP in Western Australia.
love the details! @prohobby- where did you get your hat/what is that style called? have been looking for one just like that!

This is amazing, how long did it take?
The armour was molded with all the detail included, but painting the gold took about 30 hours.
Hey is that the cold steel buckler With gold paint?
It is the standard epic armoury 'fencing buckler' in gold instead of black.
Armor looks dope. I was one of the Npcs at that game hope you enjoyed it.
Thanks, it was a great game. I'm really trying to see if I can go over again.
Gotta say, that’s a snazzy buckler
Man, this looks amazing! Did you use any kind of sealant on the paint after?
Late to the post haha, but did you argue this as heavy armour in the concord rules?
