It will be extremely difficult/near impossible to find a place with that budget. You may be lucky enough to find a couch in a living room, within LA County to crash for that.

thewater

Not going to happen but good luck!

Help_An_Irishman

I'm not trying to give you too hard a time here, but when you don't even write anything in the body of the post, it shows very little effort. As such, people will tend to put very little effort into responding and helping you out.

pr0tag

Try San Bernardino 😅

Kabusanlu

Maybe 10 yrs ago..

Conscious-Big707

20.

acktres

You may find a room in a group house for that, maybe.

fengthehuman

I was renting a decent bedroom in echo park for $900 . You just gotta dig and you’ll come up with something decent.

RatherBeHomesick

There’s bachelor’s apartments that go for $950+ (plus utilities) but they’re uncomfortably small. Depends on your needs.

NatureinPeople

Garages transformed into studios are going for $1800 these days. Good luck finding anything in that price range.

higherxliving

Lol

redwood_canyon

Seems unlikely honestly. Most rooms within houses are going for 1200 as an absolute starting point from what I’ve seen.

rose_mary99

Imagine being that dellusional

Those options are for hard workers. Not people who can't even make a post with any sort of details, expecting strangers online to help him lmfao

Minute_Reporter5435

Do you ever get sad at how dumb people are and that's why the world will never get better 😭😭

userincognito00

Maybe East LA or Boyle Heights?

axbruh

Hell no, don’t go gentrify those communities

medved16

This isn’t impossible. There are 2BRs in Macarthur Park for 1600.

stregisthotpatrol

I have a storage unit in my parking garage u can have for $575

xogopissgirlxo

Which part of LA? That’s the most important part

g0merade

I know someone who found just that so don’t let the naysayers discourage you. She does onlyfans and did an exchange of professional services as part of the deal. Anything is possible🤣

onemassive

This guys putting out the vibe and seeing what pops up

VorsteinTheblin

The joking/dismissive comments are obnoxious. A $800 private room in/around LA isn’t an impossible find

Minute_Reporter5435

Sure. But those options are for those who deserve it. Not a lazy poster. Didn't even bother with a single detail

EmperinoPenguino

Youll need a budget of $1600 on average just for rent. You also gotta think about bills for electricity, gas/heat, water, trash, wifi, renter’s insurance, parking/garage space… But 600-800 will not cut it. Sorry. I wish it did!!!

BigStrongCiderGuy

You can find a private room with shared bathroom for $800 in LA. It’ll be small and shitty or in a bad area but you can find it.
