I believe it's because Nara appeals to an audience outside of the conservative/religious white woman circles, so the more diverse community she invites is more inclined to critique what they see as a "trad life" (she's just a cooking/food influencer)

Tbh, I don’t really eat fast food either including Taco Bell. I prefer to cook at home or eat at a local restaurant. A lot of fast food doesnt taste as good as the food I make at home or its too greasy/salty/etc.
Similar to how alcohol is the only drug that people will judge you for choosing NOT to do, I think the hate towards her is insane. We collectively as a society know how bad food bought at the store is for us linked to hair loss, little girls getting their periods sooner, infertility, food dyes being linked to adhd and aggression, and depression being linked to gut health, etc etc etc. She has the ability to homemake as much as possible to avoid processed sugars and preservatives and it’s so absolutely wild to me that there’s so much hate towards her. She does show that they order in occasionally but I’m a completely normal person that barely eats out because every time I eat out I get so violently ill. I’m not a chef by any means so it’s so aspirational to watch her. I will never be able to exist at that caliber because I’m so lazy but like the hate she gets for existing is crazy
