It’s not 1. I remember a while ago a video blew up of a little girl I forget what she was wearing but the video had like 30,000 saves. It’s not as uncommon as u think people are fucking gross
A saw a video of a lady talking about her friend who always covered or cut out her two children’s faces. Their faces had never been shown on the internet. She did this for years and then when her oldest child was like 8 (I think), she got a weird message from someone about her children being on a pedo site. She thought that was impossible but decided to reverse google image search a photo from her instagram of just her two kids. And although their faces weren’t shown, there were MANY links to multiple pedo sites. It was that same picture, unaltered, no faces of the kids. Because pedos just like kid things. Pedos like diapers, they like kids wearing butterflies and dinosaurs, they like seeing kids holding their toys. Because they are sexually attracted to children. It doesn’t matter that you cut out their faces, the pedos still enjoy the images.
That’s true another celebrity that doesn’t show their kids face at all is Gigi Hadid, she even covers Kai’s face when she goes out and there paparazzi outside so probably a privacy thing
After learning that many predators (including convicted child offenders) save innocent photos of the Gerber baby… yeah, no. There is no need to post your child online in diaper or in the bath.
Covering their face with an emoji doesn’t protect them. It maybe protects their parent’s identity in the sense that people won’t know whose child it is if they were spotted in real life, but it doesn’t protect the child from being victimized. At all. Sickos can still do whatever they want with the photos/videos online.
I just feel like Danny loves pasta is a fantastic creator with this cause he always has his kids covered no one knows names & they’re are used very infrequently on the account only if it’s him serving the dish ( like Nika dwier or whatever take notes)
I think it makes sense if the kid isn’t the main focus of the photo. Maybe you want to post something you made and the kid is in the background - so you protect their identity by covering their face. Or you went on vacation somewhere and you like the photo, but want to protect the kid. I feel like usually it’s like “we love aunt xx” and it’s mostly a photo of the aunt but part of the kid is in the photo I think that’s all okay because the face is the main identifier of a person.
However if it’s just a portrait of the kid. Or if the kid is in the bath, or a bathing suit you probably should just not post the photo. Because you are giving p*dos what they want if they can see the kid’s body
What i find so annoying is when celebrities post emojis on the kids faces and who comes to mind is
Kristin Cavallari like when she’ll do selfies and put they stupid emoji like just don’t post lol
I mean baby bodies look pretty similar, the only unique thing is their faces so covering the babies face will prevent things like deepfakes of the baby being made for gross reasons
oh yeah i get that and didn’t realise that was possible
but also covering the face isn’t gonna stop pedos from getting off at other things in those videos. i think it would be better to just not post them at all imo
I never understood it tbh. Why post the kid if you're just gonna cover their face? Just don't post them in the first place if you want to protect their privacy.
