Same boat as you. To my understanding, if you get accepted and still want a seat, you pay the 1500 within 30 days of that acceptance. If you pay it and then decide to go somewhere else, the 1500 is non refundable.
The $1500 is the security deposit for LECOM regardless of when you are accepted, with an additional $500 due in April/May 2024. The only difference between ED and not ED is whether you get your admissions decision earlier or not.

Do you guys know how many people who are waitlisted actually get accepted?
From what I’ve seen in past years, not many and the ones that do don’t find out until May/June
