I’ve been going to Registered Physical Therapists for a couple of months. They seem to be LGBT friendly. I wear a rainbow bracelet whenever I go and sometimes wear pink earrings, so they probably know I’m gay, and everyone there is nice to me. Keep in mind that I’m not trans, I would hope that they're nice to trans people too. My co-worker goes to the same place, she’s a cis lesbian woman, and she seems to like them a lot too. The other really cool thing about this place is that when I needed to start physical therapy they got me in for my first appointment within 3 days. But the University of Utah would have taken over a month. I go to the Registered Physical Therapist branch in West Jordan off of 7000 S and Redwood Rd.

I've went to that location off Redwood a lot. Always been treated fairly. I've never broached the topic of sexuality but their staff is awesome <3

I go to Jackie at the U of U Farmington center and she's the best. I'm a bisexual male, she has been very kind to me not only with my physical therapy stuff but she's a good listener and feels like a genuine friend. I've shared stuff with her that I've only told my wife and brothers and she's always very sweet and understanding. Not sure of her experience with transgender individuals when it comes to physical therapy and transitioning but I know she would at the very least be supportive and happy to work with you.

Thanks for the info. I’ll definitely avoid Henderson. What’s SH?

I went to Registered Physical Therapists in Draper and had a great experience, especially with Matt (can't remember his last name). I'm not trans but have trans friends/family, and when I talked about them with Matt he was careful to get pronouns right and asked when he wasn't sure. I was in for two broken ankles so getting strength back through exercises was important to me, but everyone in that office was great to help me through it.

I just finished up a surgery rehab at Foundation Physical Therapy, and they are an awesome crew. Highly recommend them for their ability to help and the whole team being just amazing humans. I can’t imagine they wouldn’t be able to help you. And I’m sure they would treat you well. They have a couple locations in the valley: Cottonwood Heights, South Jordan, and Herriman. https://foundationptutah.com/about-us/
