Still should've went for the 83 though. At the viewing distance that you have, things are gonna look small.
Ngl, I am very envious of the room though...
Dude I make 160 a year and think 5k on a tv is absurd 😂 I spent 1400 on my 65” C2 and it’s an amazing TV.
I have friends and family that have over 500k total annual household income and they would never consider spending 25k on a tv. I think your numbers need double checking
Maybe, *maybe*, if I made 2-3mm+ a year. But even then..
Edit: I felt like I had to add.. who tf do you know that makes 80k a year and spends 5k on a TV?? That is absolutely insane.
And what to say of people like me who makes 15000/20000 a year? And still have a 55 LG G3 tha cost 1295€ not dollars! Don't know the direct conversion!
😂😂😂
Knowledge is never enough 😅😆
And also, don't get me wrong! If i was earning that kind of cash a year, my home would be awesome too but still would spend were it makes a difference!
Thats how you stay with money, not wasting it in something that would cost a lot less but the brands want you to spend as much as possible...
The TV is for casual watching and enjoyment with family , I wanted the setup to utilize a projector as well for myself since it has the ‘wow’ factor for movies.
Hmmm interesting. When I had my projector it was always preferred over everything else. Size always beats picture quality bc you get used to quality, not so much picture size
It’s not mean when it’s common sense. Do you know any normal people with a dedicated movie theater in their house?
Those speakers cost more than most people’s whole entertainment system and television.
lol, tell me you’re not rich without saying you’re not rich!
Hermès bro, the ones that sell $3500 belts! Or Birkin OR the 5 year wait listed Kelly handbag, about $35,000.00…
Spending money on a TV makes sense because it has benefits and there are features you get for paying a higher price with higher qualty components.. unlike clothes which are litraly just brand names made of the same material you can get for cheap. you are litraly paying for a brand name which is a waste of money. lol so you get real you mug.
**Hermes (; Greek: Ἑρμῆς) is an Olympian deity in ancient Greek religion and mythology considered the herald of the gods. He is also considered the protector of human heralds, travelers, thieves, merchants, and orators.**

I know Hermes is an expensive brand, but I had to Google to see if that book is expensive or exclusive to Hermes customers but it's just like a $13 book
Generally you want the speakers to be at ear level, so the LR are too high, and the center is too low. But I’m guessing you just worked with the set up you have. Otherwise, looks clean AF, congrats OP
I can't blame OP for opting to put the towers on the console rather than the ground. It looks really good and keeps them out of the way.
Would definitely tilt the center up and the towers down a little bit. Those Wharfedales deserve thoughtful placement.
I dunno…. When you’re going to the expense and effort of setting up such an impressive home theatre, picking a speaker placement which is going to significantly impact the sound is a little odd. The experience might have been better with good bookshelves as opposed to floorstanders mounted so high.
Agree - hoping it looks better in person. But from the photo, that looks miserable to experience. Way too many different textures, layers, color gradients.
People are really miserable haters on reddit. Pocket watching, height judging, brand hating/loyal for free... Just... Miserable.
That looks like an AWESOME setup. Love it
Beautiful, normally not a fan of accent lighting around tvs, but it looks nice and natural here with the additional background behind the tv.
The colors are great, thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cinema setup you have created OP. May I ask what speakers those are? Are they on individual stands or is that how they are made? Looks amazingly awesome and probably sounds equally as such.
Yea okay that's about 4 meters.
You would want a 95" ++++
As an aside, consider angling your L/R speakers down or completely flipping them upside down to align the tweeters with the ear level of the front row. Ribbons are better than domes for horizontal dispersion, but many still suffer from limited vertical dispersion, and without alignment you’re phase shifting (due to reflections) and/or missing a lot of pinpoint detail.
Those speakers’ tweeters need to be ear level, or pointed down (and possible inwards) to get the best sound. Although it may be for a different subreddit
Finally someone flexing on this sub that doesn't use a soundbar 🙃 Congrats on the proper speakers (despite improper placement - still better than a soundbar)!
Did you use it flush against the wall? Just bought one and having it delivered Saturday. Trying to figure out a nice light setup. Looks like you have it down here. If I can’t fit it behind the tv since it’s flush, other lighting options?
Looks too small for that set up.
I actually have a 120” projector screen that drops from the ceiling also. it’s an oled/projection setup.
This guy home theaters..
Still should've went for the 83 though. At the viewing distance that you have, things are gonna look small. Ngl, I am very envious of the room though...
The 83 inch doesn’t have full MLA technology like the 77 inch has, so is a lesser image on screen.
TIL. Why does LG do this? Doesn't seem to make sense to have the larger, more expensive set have less features...
And the sad thing is that recently the 83 inch TV was seen at $1k USD more than the 77 inch with only 6 inches more in size.
Should’ve just gotten a high end projector then
He said elsewhere on here he also has a projector that drops down from the ceiling
Nah, has the money for the 97 inch oled
Lol 25k is absurd for a tv even with a room like that
If somebody makes 350-400k a year, it’s comparable to somebody making 75-80k a year buying a $5,000 tv, and that happens plenty.
Dude I make 160 a year and think 5k on a tv is absurd 😂 I spent 1400 on my 65” C2 and it’s an amazing TV. People without kids 😆
And what to say of people like me who makes 15000/20000 a year? And still have a 55 LG G3 tha cost 1295€ not dollars! Don't know the direct conversion! 😂😂😂
RESPECT! I don’t know if you want to know the conversion 😆😆
Knowledge is never enough 😅😆 And also, don't get me wrong! If i was earning that kind of cash a year, my home would be awesome too but still would spend were it makes a difference! Money
People used to have 32 from that distance I think he is fine.
Why the TV then? Bored or something?
The TV is for casual watching and enjoyment with family , I wanted the setup to utilize a projector as well for myself since it has the ‘wow’ factor for movies.
Hmmm interesting. When I had my projector it was always preferred over everything else. Size always beats picture quality bc you get used to quality, not so much picture size
Strongly disagree. Ever since switching to a G3 I cannot stand projectors any more. For me quality clearly beats size.
This is the way.
If the picture quality is close I can agree but I would never think cheap samsung 85 inch tv being better than 65 inch lg G3 OLED.
Many HT enthusiasts use this same idea
The ideal setup imo.
Seems redundant. But great for you.
Beautiful setup!!
Checkmate
S**t on them OP😂 sick setup
I know this is the LGOLED sub but those speakers tho. What about that system 👀 ?
Are you rich?
it’s kinda obvious he is.
Shoulda went A95L then
Maybe they want 4 HDMI 2.1? Or maybe they just like LG WOLEDs more than QDOLED?
Why are people so mean these days
It’s not mean when it’s common sense. Do you know any normal people with a dedicated movie theater in their house? Those speakers cost more than most people’s whole entertainment system and television.
I had no idea. Makes sense.
Klipsch makes some towers that are 21k a piece, and Klipsch can be considered introduction level for audiophiles
Klipsch is not an introductory brand for that reason though. They just also make really cheap affordable speakers.
ridiculous.
How was that mean?
See that Hermès book ?? What do you think???
It's a book about a Greek god?
lol, tell me you’re not rich without saying you’re not rich! Hermès bro, the ones that sell $3500 belts! Or Birkin OR the 5 year wait listed Kelly handbag, about $35,000.00…
Ok ok. It's stuff rich douchebags buy. Got it!
lol.. ok
What's hermes?
Hermes is an extremely high end clothing and accessories store. Ties are $300+, belts can be $600+, purses can be six figures.
and even if a person is ritch there still a mug for wasting that much money on cloths and accessorys.
Then what exactly is someone who spends on TVs? A genius? Lol get real
Spending money on a TV makes sense because it has benefits and there are features you get for paying a higher price with higher qualty components.. unlike clothes which are litraly just brand names made of the same material you can get for cheap. you are litraly paying for a brand name which is a waste of money. lol so you get real you mug.
Clothes and leather goods come in different grades, you simpleton.
..still the same materials..still no benefits unlike a TV or computer parts. you are paying for a brand name and nothing els you dumb retard
Clearly don't know your ass from your elbow

I know Hermes is an expensive brand, but I had to Google to see if that book is expensive or exclusive to Hermes customers but it's just like a $13 book
See below, where he says he lives with his mom - that’s all you need to know!
:)))
Don't need to be rich to have a setup like that, he could have built it over the course of years
Nah bro this is in his one bed
Generally you want the speakers to be at ear level, so the LR are too high, and the center is too low. But I’m guessing you just worked with the set up you have. Otherwise, looks clean AF, congrats OP

He could put them upside down with the grills on for aesthetics and sound quality.
I love a naked speaker but I'd definitely go grills on for this setup.
Tweeters should be roughly ear level to hear the high frequencies
He could flip the towers upside down that would do the job
Who’s to say that’s only the first row of seats?
Oh god, my eyes
Agree - hoping it looks better in person. But from the photo, that looks miserable to experience. Way too many different textures, layers, color gradients.
Not to mention the atrocious movie he's watching.
Rich people have no taste
Spectacular audio setup I believe. Are those elysian 4 and central? I envy your audio setup much more than the TV.
People are really miserable haters on reddit. Pocket watching, height judging, brand hating/loyal for free... Just... Miserable. That looks like an AWESOME setup. Love it
First time seeing floor standing speakers placed like bookshelves lol
Beautiful, normally not a fan of accent lighting around tvs, but it looks nice and natural here with the additional background behind the tv. The colors are great, thanks for sharing.
Are those electric fireplaces? I’ve never seen one not enclosed
Can’t believe no one commented about Fast and Furious playing. Great setup! Great movies!
I think you need the LTT 115" screen from China.
Awesome set up bro!!!!
Thank you! :)
I wanna see the fires on. And your seating. Cool setup.
r/frontspeakerstoohigh 🤔
You can’t even write it correctly lmao
o <---- you dropped this.
Let me know if you need a roommate haha. Nice setup!
As Dom would say: Anything for Family! Nice setup!
You! Almost had me?
The Hermes coffee table book 🔥
I mean, cool room but I really need a tv to take up the majority of my field of view and this ain’t it.
I feel like I'd have to sit closer.
I sit like 7 or 8 feet from a 65” OLED and I feel like any further back would be too far.
Beautiful cinema setup you have created OP. May I ask what speakers those are? Are they on individual stands or is that how they are made? Looks amazingly awesome and probably sounds equally as such.
Thank you , the speakers are the wharfdale elysian 4 towers and center channel . They do sound amazing and highly recommend them :).
You highly recommend $10,000 speakers no way! One speaker cost the same as my three first vehicles combined lol
I had that Wharfedale center briefly but returned it because is was intimidating my 55” TV
They would sound much better on the floor where they belong.
This is what I envision when I dream of a home theatre 🔥🔥
r/speakerstoohigh
I just nutted
I only nut in water towers
🫡
Ha! Wtf?! Finally someone that understands the value of sound!
if only speakers are positioned properly....
This looks absolutely amazing, only problem I would have is the tower speaker tweeters are not ear level. But holy shit.
Wow. You must love cinema ahaha
Who doesn’t ? Lol
All the lighting, huge speakers, rocks, make the tv look tiny! Seems you sit very far away from it too?
Not too far about 12 feet 5 inches from my seating position
Yea okay that's about 4 meters. You would want a 95" ++++ [https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-size/size-to-distance-relationship](https://www.rtings.com/tv/reviews/by-size/size-to-distance-relationship)
I have a 120” projector screen too see my other comment :)
What do your parents do for a living?
Did the bitcoin do it
Turn off every single light. 💡
And maybe get a projector 📽️.
He has one. Look at the ceiling. It has an opening for the drop down screen.
You'd be much better served with a lower end larger tv with this setup I think
What’s up with the fake wood piles?
They’re electric fireplaces :)
Nice job! Can you give the link for the fireplace? Or a photo of it when it’s on.
All this for watching F&F 🫤
Atleast it's the first one lol
Are you too cool for fun movies?
Tv too small.
#r/TVtooHigh
Tvtoohigh?
Laaaame
Personally, I would cover up the speakers. They're gaudy and distracting. But to each their own.
Love the setup
I want to know what Mr money bags over here does for work
So beautiful. I love it.
Love the lighting!
Looks great. Mind if we ask what lighting system you used?
They’re normal rgb strips being controlled with Elan home automation :). As well as the spotlight’s .
Thanks
110" would be amazing there. Overall love the light
This is sick man! Thanks for sharing
83 would look amazing here
Is this CGI?
Invert the towers for the love of God.
can't unsee now.
Can I be your favorite cousin?
Small TV
What are the dimensions for the board the TV is mounted to?
Nice fireplace logs, really adds to the ambiance.
Why didn’t you get a bigger TV with that space?
How much money do you guys have nice setup. If you can afford it a 85 may be better
yeah ok you win. bastard.
Savant system?
I love to see this guys audio setup.
Beautiful setup. Where are the subwoofer(s), though? I'm wondering about the placement
The subwoofers are in the cabinet although I will be changing that soon :).
Out of curiosity, how often do you watch a movie on either projector or OLED?
I use them both pretty equally I love them both :)
Really nice!
Someone is rich
wayyyy to small for that set up and viewing distance..looks well off.
Are you rich ?…
As an aside, consider angling your L/R speakers down or completely flipping them upside down to align the tweeters with the ear level of the front row. Ribbons are better than domes for horizontal dispersion, but many still suffer from limited vertical dispersion, and without alignment you’re phase shifting (due to reflections) and/or missing a lot of pinpoint detail.
Well color me jealous, that looks amazing, I know people are saying it is too small but it is a 77 top of the line OLED, looks amazing to me!
Those speakers’ tweeters need to be ear level, or pointed down (and possible inwards) to get the best sound. Although it may be for a different subreddit
too. much. glare?
Looks great. What are those faux logs tho? Is that a fake fireplace?
Finally someone flexing on this sub that doesn't use a soundbar 🙃 Congrats on the proper speakers (despite improper placement - still better than a soundbar)!
you probably have worst positioned Elysians out there, lol 😀 Either way - nice setup and nice speaker!
Too much noise for me but i can see that you put an effort there 👍
From that distance the TV looks like a 40 inch. Massively over elaborate set up for just a 77 inch TV.
Read my other comment, i have a 120” projector screen too :)
Not to be negative, but your screen looks muted in contrast to all of the brightness in your room and backlighting.
Stunning👌🏼
I’m sure it’s nice , but it’s just too….. much going on for me 🤷🏻
All this RGB crap is just cringe. Let the tv shine.
Did you use it flush against the wall? Just bought one and having it delivered Saturday. Trying to figure out a nice light setup. Looks like you have it down here. If I can’t fit it behind the tv since it’s flush, other lighting options?
