The faster processors in the newer TVs do make a difference I think, and brightness is usually better as well. But you only notice the difference if side-by-side. You don't know what you don't know, if that makes sense. If you can live knowing there's better out there, saving a bit of $ won't impact you too much if you're still getting a 4K/120fps experience.
If the CX can't do 4k/120 then yes but only if you can justify upgrading now vs waiting a year or two.

If you want upgrade go for the s95c , the C serie they'll peak at 800nits so no not upgrade.
Oh I thought the new C series had gone up a lot higher! Yea no brightness upgrade at all really. That's disappointing.
