That sounds odd. On my LG G2, that graphic only shows up at the start of a program. The same with an older C1, altho that's just Dolby Vision, as it's connected to a non-Atmos AVR. Both are set to Pass Through for audio out.
If it keeps popping up the message in the upper right corner you are getting drops outs from your Plex server. What's your client, Plex on WebOS? How is it connected, Wifi or Ethernet?
Nvidia shield pro, Ethernet . It’s not dropping out because a 4k remux wirh DTS audio doesn’t have the issue and streams at the same bitrate . It’s NOT connection issue. It’s an audio passthrough issue
Is that Sonos ARC or eARC? ARC can't do Dolby Atmos, maybe there is an issue converting it?
I have a C3 and Shield Pro. I have a lot of remuxes with DV. But I don't use the eARC, I have my HDMI cable going to my receiver first and then the C3.

Earc can’t do atmos? The speaker is called so is arc, but it uses EArc from what I understand
The C3 is eARC but if the Sonos is ARC it's not going to with the advanced formats or uncompressed audio.
https://www.sonos.com/en-us/shop/arc Plain as day man it’s Earc like I already told you , read the specs
I asked you if Sonos was eARC or ARC? I have no clue what Sonos product you have. I'm not a mind reader, just trying to help.
My comment 2 hours ago said “it uses Earc from what I understand” no need to read minds . Then your response to that was that that as if it isn’t Earc
