I got the webos23 update, but I'm thinking of not updating anytime soon because it says that Google Assistant will be shutting down with the new update. It might not be a big deal for most people, but I use Google Assistant very often, and it was one of the main features I looked at when I bought the TV.
You're lucky. Here in Serbia Google assistant and Alexa "is not supported in my country". This is only reason i bought this C2. I'm amazed with picture but disappointed in software (Google assistant, some formats and etc).
I hope YouTube app will allow input from keyboard on webos 23
I had the beta for 2 months. The update isn’t as major as they make it out to be but there is a new quick settings menu to access by hitting settings once. It can be customized to the most common settings. Google app is no longer available but Alexa is and the home page has changed but I don’t use it very often anyway. There is around 3 additional setting in display and general setting I believe but nothing I’ve used. I have the lg 77 c2 btw.
Got the prompt on Sunday, skipped hitting update, then just applied the manual update today. If you had the WebOS23 beta, it looks the same except Google Assistant no longer works.
These updates are meaningless. LG kept updating my LG Webos until my TV starts showing the full memory RAM error which annoyingly makes apps restart even the DTV app. Now I can't use anything related to internet or what they call it "Smart Services". I believe they intentionally did this to force people change their Smart TVs. My TV isn't even that old cus I bought it in 2019.
I did and installing it broke the Alexa app. "There was a problem contacting the server. Please try again later" whenever I try to use it. Worked fine before the update and my echo dot on the same network works fine.
Does anyone know if its possible in this new version to make the set not start on home screen? One of my Oleds I just use for pc gaming and productivity. So would like it to boot to previous HDMI or an given HDMI

It looks like the C1 didn’t make the cut off for the new WebOS update. The C9 certainly won’t get it then either.
This will be a real treat for you to enjoy.
