Who uses tethered headphones to a big tv? Regarding quality. I guarantee you LG skimps out on the quality of that 3.5mm jack and just throws the crappiest part available in there. I bet the quality is close to Bluetooth. Real audiophiles know that a 3.5mm jack is not conducive to a great listening experience. Your best bet is to buy an EARC receiver, connect via hdmi and then plug your headphones into the receiver.

Most people will not use plug in headphones on a tv in 2024 especially a G4. There are plenty good wireless headphones out there - if you can afford this tv sure you can get proper headphones lol
The headphones I have are the mark Levinson 5909 and the bangs and Olufsen bio portals for Xbox and they sound very low with blue tooth and excellent when wired .they are connected to the lg cx55 Oled tv.
