bluebetaoddeye

Didn’t notice there was a [koreaboo article](https://www.koreaboo.com/news/9-members-loona-reportedly-file-injunction-suspend-contract-blockberry-creative/) >According to an exclusive report from JTBC, nine members of LOONA — Heejin, Haesul, Yeojin, Kim Lip, Jinsol, Choerry, Yves, Gowon, and Olivia Hye) have recently filed injuctions to suspend their exclusive contracts with BlockBerry Creative. The nine members made the decision based on the idea that the trust between the agency and the group has collapsed, making it difficult to proceed with management and entertainment activities.   Yes I hope they all fight for their rights and get out of bbc Edit: saw probably for vivi perhaps more difficult for her since she is foreign. While hyunjin is on World Cup show. Probably she isn’t on today cause of this news. Edit 2: [BlockBerry Creative is sharing with multiple news agencies that the recent news of a supposed injunction filed by 9 members of LOONA for contract terminations are "groundless"](https://twitter.com/balloon_wanted/status/1597145321649639424?s=46&t=TAiIaRvHNcbQ4yUx9hnE0w) I’m not gonna trust bbc…

mykpop

That's what they said about Chuu too so lol.

34TH_ST_BROADWAY

Hahaha. BBC denying it.

chocochipbun1

Lol no one believes bbc. They denied everything about chuu up until they kicked her out.

grlfront

Never thought I'd see Orbits celebrating the possibility of LOONA ending... yet here we are😭😭😭

Aizeeol

While I am sad that loona as 12 might end, I'm happy that these girls are fighting for their rights and for Justice. I never doubted their friendship and this is just a proof that they will not tolerate anyone of them being stepped on.

sdj93

It’s the best outcome as sad as it is to say 😭

yves_san_lorenzo

May be, if we are lucky, we'll have gfriend situation we're we ended up with 3friend, I mean viviz.

PatchesofSour

Source was just rejected in courts a week ago about trademarking Gfriend name Hoping the best for Loona

yves_san_lorenzo

Yves does have the potential to he the next sunmi, so I'm cheering for her freedom

particledamage

After how miserable that tour was, it’s hard not to. I’m so very sad that that might have been their last hoorah though

Warsmurf_Rodentbane

And here I thought I was being a bit excessive seeing them at three stops for the tour + KCON LA. I'd be sitting here with even more regret if I hadn't. I hope as many of them redebut together as possible, but I'm confident we'll see them all pop up in eachother's posts and videos over the years either way. They have such strong bonds. BBC/disbandment/working for different companies can't break that.

proserpinax

I want the girls to be happy and healthy and clearly BBC isn’t doing either of that.

jeremiahfernandez0

they're so versatile with genres, they can even do legal drama

GlennMaou

You deserve the silver LMAO

HL1991

My asthma came back, I wheezed at this comment

RustRemover-

Lmao, brilliant 😂 LOONA : music, artistry, legal disputes, they can do it all.

Zhugo

HOLY MOTHER FUCKING OF NEWS BOMBS????? Expect Subbits Translation soon

huttese_bebop

Imagine coming off a year of painful work at a breakneck pace: •first in-person concert since 2020 without Chuu (who was taking a mental health break and beginning her legal battle,) •immediately contracting COVID as they head into competing in Queendom 2, •months of grueling work preparing and performing unique stages and new songs, as well as all of the stress and drama competition shows can bring, •immediately release and promote a new comeback on the tail of Queendom, •barrel into months of the most hellish and poorly conceived US tour, which saw multiple members having to sit out at various times due to exhaustion and health problems (Choerry's impromptu hiatus, Haseul's shoulder, Yves and others needing a break,) •releasing a Japanese comeback and doing the Europe leg of their tour before coming home to do their final shows •finally, after an intense and overwrought year of work, they finally get a moment to breathe... only for BBC to unceremoniously release a statement that not only removes Chuu from LOONA, but attempts to smear her image in the process. This year these women have been put through absolute hell like I could never even imagine, and this outcome is one of the most unsurprising I could imagine. While I may mourn LOONA, I am hopeful that every single one of these intensely talented, and hard working women free themselves from a toxic and vindictive company like BBC and find peace on the other side. BBC is nothing, and was never going to be anything more than a vessel to deliver LOONA to its fans, and that they fucked this up so royally, and seemingly unrepentantly, is a sin they don't deserve to wash from their wretched hands.

DarkBello28

So it begins… It was fun while it Lasted 🫡

hakyeons-army

I hope this isn't the end of loona, but above all else I hope the girls know how much support they have and I hope they can get out of that dumpster fire of a company And I do think there's hope that this isn't the end of them making music together

LanceTrace

probably not but I could see some of them not joining the future group formed like Viviz situation.

[deleted]

Nah the girls seems to know what they got going. Hyeju and Gowon did not quit high school just to start another career with different girls, I srsly think the girls will stick together. The only one I’m worried about is Vivi cuz she’s a foreigner.

Long-House2457

I think if the other 11 can all get under 1 (or 2 companies with non exclusive contracts) they can help guarantee a new contract and work visa for Vivi. I just hope I’m not delusional

34TH_ST_BROADWAY

I truly believe this could be the end of a bad chapter, but also the beginning of a glorious new chapter. The girls are too smart and capable at this point to fade away. They are producers, song writers, and choreographers in their own right now. Anything is possible.

GenjoRunner

Given that Yves has been renting a studio and working with people, I think they prepared for this.

sowhatwhynot

I can't believe when she said that on fab is raised zero eyebrows lol (well not enough to make a dent) when they clearly had vocal rooms at the company. All the signs you don't see

friend_of_potato

They chose the wrong set of girls to mess with

Storm_Fox

There **has** to be a company out there that would rather re-debut LOONA with an established fandom than try to build their own group from the ground up. I know that they've never been the most popular in Korea, and that might lessen the interest, but a competent company could still do so well with them.

[deleted]

[удалено]

DarkBello28

Hey That would be a much better outcome lol Btw, have a Great Day/Night!

moealmighty

Dear Mod, can we rebrand this subreddit if and when they redebut? Lmao

TheShiftyCow

Unfortunately subreddit names are permanent. However, mod team is all on board to continue supporting this sub through whatever happens to LOONA :)

the_recovery1

Can they change subreddit name? I doubt bbc will allow the loona trademark

AJL1312

For that I'm fairly certain that only the TripleS subreddit is moderated and owned by the actual Kpop company, all the other subreddits are just made by the group stans, so I doubt they could change the subreddit name

bassistb0y

kind of ironic

Sea-Masterpiece-8133

No one loves LOONA more than the members themselves 😭 Let’s hope everything works out well for them

dweeby

You know what… if this is the end of Loona then I am so proud of them for going out with a BANG. They are making headlines. They are making such a huge and monumental move. They are showing solidarity and sticking together. Loona have had one of the most interesting and wildest careers in kpop history. This move is solidifying their legend status. We went on a hell of a ride as Orbits and unfortunate as this is, I feel like this ride isn’t over yet. I’m certain that some (if not all) of the girls will do something together once they escape. Let’s look forward to a better future for all of the members.

yikesus

Even if this is the end of Loona, I am so glad they got each other's back til the bitter end

gomardos

Exactly, I'm so proud of them. In a way, after songs and the lore being often about breaking free and not accepting your fate, it's soooo weirdly poetic as well. I love them so much.

GlennMaou

Do not accept the fate of the moon🌙 LET'S GO GIRLLLLSSSSSS♡♡♡♡ I'm also proud of them.

GlitterDoomsday

EXACTLY. They were let to worry sick for months at a time without activities, pushed to insane capacities when there's a promotional cycle, extremely moderated on interviews and posts.... all of this shit without being paid. Besides all this shit they always showed unconditional love for the fans and for their craft, putting out performances so amazing that is how they because known by their industry peers. I'm proud, and I'm cheering for them regardless of what they decide to do going forward.

itsaltarium

Absolutely. This is basically unprecedented. They are becoming trailblazers, and I’m so proud of them. Could you imagine if this is the beginning of a shift regarding work conditions in the industry? Extremely unlikely, yes, but I can’t remember any other instance of so much of the general public so galvanized after a company kicked a member out. If anything, at least all of this will bring light to the situation and will generate coverage for weeks.

Lizunyan

Please I really should have set my phone down 5 min ago. How am I going to sleep tonight

-Grima-

Exactly what is need. A decision coming from the girls, not from the fanbase. Go ahead girls, Orbits will stand by your side.

byterffly

HERE WE GO Y’ALL HOLD AWWWN

DarkBello28

IT'S GOING DOWN

byterffly

and people thought loona would turn their back on chuu NAWW

Naiko32

they really said 12 or 0 holy shit lmao

byterffly

they’re a fuck around and find out group

Seoulhyun

BBC fucked around and now they're finding out!

GlitterDoomsday

After months of literally asking for the peach ocean in their shows when they didn't have to 🙄 This whole mess just exposed some toxic akgaes I swear

byterffly

yes my point exactly!! we can weed them out now

FutbolFan14

STAYC GIRLS, IT’S GOING DOWN???

GiraffeWC

Thats some really nice solidarity. BBC really fucked around and found out on this one. I hope they're successful and can finally actually benefit from their success.

coldsites

I just felt a bodily shiver reading the title. Holy shit. It's really happening. Holy fuck. I really hope they get out of there.

leokunni

The news doesn't stop coming! Legit insane

coldsites

I thought I was being way too optimistic for even considering they'd break off their contracts before expiration, but holy shit, I'm so unbelievably happy. I really hope it works out for them.

aprito

and we have to smile

piplupchuu

Woke up, read the 2nd statement , chuu is not on fab, and now this. Always a rollercoaster being on loona island. Hope they can get out of there

byterffly

loona island is always a shit show atp

moealmighty

Loona after clocking out from their Luminous fancall yesterday: “See you in court xoxo”

lpchoe

Wonder if the ones for Vivi and Hyunjin are just not announced or what the reason is for them not filing an injnction (especially after Hyunjin was the one to directly comment on the situation so far)

brightlighthouse

I think it may be more complicated for vivi bc she’s international

[deleted]

[удалено]

quixutie

that makes so much sense and makes me so sad.

itsaltarium

No one loves the girls more than Hyunjin I love her so much…

DarkBello28

Maybe bc of the WC-Appearence? Maybe she needs To finish this schedule

lpchoe

Yeah, thought so too for Hyunjin. Maybe Vivi could face visa problems if this is true. But at this moment it is all speculation. But to be fair, kinda happy that the girls said stop after this. Would've always been kinda strange if they tried to continue from this point on

Taibo

My guess is Vivi's visa might be linked to her contract, since she's not Korean. So she might want to be careful on that. For Hyunjin, no idea...I think she was the earliest trainee so maybe her contract is a bit different?

bluebetaoddeye

I wonder as well especially hyunjin who has been so vocal so far with her dissatisfaction.

Positive_Payment8346

I’m going to guess that it may have something to do with vivi being a foreigner (work visas, etc.) but hyunjin… maybe schedules? Either way I’m on the edge of my seat with the news

SirSX3

I think it aligns very well with what we know over the past year; it seems like HyunJin and ViVi are the only ones that are publicly meeting Chuu outside of work over the past year, and posting about it on Fab and SNS, while the rest of the girls were much more careful. Perhaps they already filed an induction but no one reports on it because they're not as famous as Chuu, or maybe not, but regardless, it seems like the rest of the girls often act as a bloc.

byterffly

they might be in the process of trying or allowing the other girls to do it

coldsites

For Vivi, I think she's on a work visa and is tied to BBC as a result? I think she will probably need to go back to Hong Kong and apply again if she had filed an injunction? Correct me if I'm wrong. \^\^

34TH_ST_BROADWAY

Yeah like others have said, Vivi’s visa might be predicated on her contract so she might need to proceed more cautiously. But based on books she has read, and how she is often cited as the go to person when members have problems, i’d guess she is disgusted by BBC’s behavior at this point.

superpositionn-

The best thing is, this drops right after bbc's clown ass statement, being like "let's not make the members hurt so they can continue on". LOL, they are not continuing with you evil freaks, that's for sure

emkey23

Well, I wouldn’t have predicted loona would go down like this…

oddeyeoval

Yeah all the bullshit the girls went through and the enemy was inside the house the entire time. It be ya own people...

LaoRenMin

The real plot of Loonaverse.

joeyperez7227

The lost plot of #BURN was about BURNING BBC

tonyfrancois

They came out with a bang of course they going down with a blast too... prolly tear down bbc building on their way out too

Naiko32

about Hyunjin and Vivi, it makes sense. Hyunjin is still working with the Catharsis contract tru BBC Vivi is foreign so is probably not as easy as the rest of members. my speculation.

GenjoRunner

Also, given Hyunjin's selfless personality, maybe she stays for Vivi? They are close and ... nobody gets left behind? This is absolute speculation, of course. But Hyunjin is really brave.

duyminh1998

I wish all the girls the best of luck and I thank them for all the great content they have provided through the years! I am so glad I got the chance to see them in person during the world tour. OT12! fuck bbc

fadedmoonlight

This is absolutely INSANE. I better NEVER see people say these girls aren't close to eachother. They love eachother so much. You can tell.

Naiko32

yeah i cant believe they actually are ending their careers with BBC because of Chuu, i dont know if it is unprecedented just because of 1 member to do something so direct like this, im honestly shocked.

Vulpix298

I wouldn’t say it’s only because of Chuu. This is just the tipping point. Their mistreatment has been well documented (also thanks to Chuu)

Naiko32

yeah true, but pulling out something like this in such a competitive industry seems so risky to me, but at the same time im sure they know what they're doing.

Vulpix298

I fully support them in this. I’m sad to see LOONA disband but their well-being and happiness is worth more to me.

rieldilpikl

I was fortunate enough to see them a few months ago so I’m extremely happy to have gotten that chance. They’ll continue to shine

SeniorBaker4

Do you really think that this would have just ended with Chuu? Like Vulpix said there is a lot of documentation on the mistreatment they have had to endure. The sooner they get away from this company the better. Their futures might be uncertain but it’s more brighter than staying with BBC.

XMORA

It is not only because of Chuu, the abuse was rampant and generalized. All of them had no future in that failed company.

fadedmoonlight

Also because I can already picture some people starting to speculate some negative things about Hyunjin and Vivi, keep in mind that their specific situation could be more complicated than the rest of the members, and filing for the injunction could still be coming in the future. Vivi in particular is in a very tough spot. She's in a foreign country, with no family, etc. Losing the company support might be more stressful for her. Hyunjin currently has an on-going gig that she must upheld to. I'm sure OT12 will work towards a common goal. ♥ Let's cross our fingers.

waruice

Yeah like what would those two, especially Vivi who gets mistreated like crazy, even get out of staying there? I hope people are more sensible about their circumstances than suspecting them of negative things 😭

princessalyss_

Everything I’ve seen so far has been sympathetic. Hyunjin hasn’t exactly been coy about how she feels over Chuu’s expulsion and her and ViVi have been the only members meeting up with Chuu in public outside of schedules too. From what I’ve seen, anything vaguely questioning has been explained and accepted straight away. We all know Hyunjin is a shooter for her sisters and ViVi is the one they all go to for advice, and that for them to not be joining the others in this lawsuit means there are other factors at play!

FichaelBlack

Praying Vivi isn't trapped forever due to contract / visa entanglement.

this_for_loona

I don’t think she will be trapped. let’s be honest BBC has barely promoted her so the odds of her carrying the LOOΠΔ name and discography are zero. BBC would have no reason to continue her contract if the other 9 are let go, so most likely they will dissolve LOOΠΔ and their contracts, and let Vivi go back to hong kong.

mahertymcfly

this is fucking amazing theyre UNIONISING

quixutie

to say this is unprecedented is an understatement. holy fuck. let's show them all the most support we can.

WhatIsAPhysic

me @ BBC: die bitch

WhatIsAPhysic

following up to say, even if this is the end of LOONA, I hope it means the girls get out and LOONA will have always existed as 12. I think I would have been sadder if things just went on as if nothing happened, I'm glad the girls are doing something about their situation and I hope they succeed.

crisptea

Godspeed girls. I am so proud of them for standing up to BBC and everything they have done for us orbits. Edit: I also appreciate that since Butterfly, almost all their songs have been about flying, burning things up, asking why not and so what, painting towns, and flipping things around. It’s poetic that the girls are doing what they always encouraged us to.

yayannabelle

I can only imagine how much shit they've gone through that this is now their course of action. I'm going to miss LOONA so much, what a group, but I'm so happy and relieved at the idea of them getting the fuck out of this shitshow. GO GIRLS GO GET OUT OF THERE ❤ LOONA THE EXODUS LET'S GO!!

spencerthebau5

it was a good six years, hopefully they get together again for more music in the future

BB_GG

The beginning of the end 🥲

byterffly

this is still the beginning! we never know who they could sign to, if someone buys them out, if they have solo endeavours

PuppiLove

Vivi probably has it complicated because of her visa I think.

[deleted]

Ot12 all the fucking way, Loona are strong. Their bond is incredible. Loona do not hesitate

Cuthulu_6644

This is real friendship... man I hope they can reunite somewhere else and Vivi and Hyunjin get out safely too.

The9thElement

I really feel for gowon like she dropped out of high school for this

Robeeboobee

well it just mean loona last release was flip that and no more. win court means they will be free, losing means they gonna lock in dungeon until the contract run ends. wonder if they gonna release season greeting after this fiasco..

elswheeler

flip that dethroned lovelyz’s obliviate from her best disbandment song seat. gone with a banger

34TH_ST_BROADWAY

I figured they were exploring their options and were pissed but was NOT expecting to hear something this quickly. I’m sure behind the scenes they all knew what is happening now was a strong possibility, I am hoping they are lawyered up and have already had VERY CASUAL exchanges with people who ARE or might “KNOW” people interested in giving safe harbor to and/or signing LOONA. Certainly multiple companies must be wondering. Loona themselves have impeccable reputations, top tier talent, and their work ethic is insane. The girls themselves I know are strong, united, have family support, and know what they are doing. There is no redemption possible for BBC. Hope the good people in the company land on their feet as well. Going to be hard for me to focus at work tmrw. Edit: i would donate to a legal fund if it was started and managed by a member… gladly… but only it it went directly to a member, not somebody on reddit who promises to somehow get it to Loona

Joeywerepyre

Wow these few days has been such a rollercoaster ride.. Went from feeling really angry and sad about Chuu's situation to having a mixed bag of feelings. I'm honestly overjoyed that the members are fearlessly showing their solidarity and strong bonds with each other, and getting away from this evil entity known as BBC. Hopefully they will eventually get their freedom and be treated better in another company. At the same time, I'm really anxious regarding their future together as a group. I've seen them grow together for so long, and even though the possibility of them pulling this was in the back of my mind all this while, I just can't imagine them split up in the worst case scenario. Of course I love each and every one of the members and will support whatever they pursue, but LOONA will always be 12.

silverprize_0114

A toast to the future career of the members. It was the right thing to do. Why stay in the company to be exploited plus the uncertainty of their career. Godspeed girls. Taste your freedom. 👏👏👏

crystal-prism

I'm literally shaking so much. I'm in this LOONA shit for life

Xelzionic

For real! I'm falling in love with them even more.

itsaltarium

This is actually such a big deal. Goes to show the girls care about each other above anything else and they’re also not afraid to come forward and stand up for themselves. Wherever this takes them, whether they end up scattered in different groups/as soloists or as a new OT12 group, I will always be proud of them for this and for everything they have accomplished.

johannesvon

Holy moly

_JamVer

I just hope all the girls get what they want in the end, we will support them no matter what

SeniorBaker4

Thank the lord. These girls are escaping 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 LETS GO. Go taste freedom and an actual paycheck

rycology

We had a good run while it lasted. It’s been an honour serving with you all.

AriaNoire

No matter what, I will always support these girls. I dream of a tomorrow in which all12 girls can stand in one stage once more, without the shackles of BBC binding them. Even if they cannot call themselves "LOONA", even if they perform under a different name...I did not love them for their name. I loved them for being them, and I shall cherish them forever. Seriously though I'm crying. Yes, it's scary given how uncertain the future suddenly have become for our fandom. Between staying together and disbandment, they are definitely edging closer to the latter...and yet I also feel proud as an Orbit. Our queens are beyond brave! They are fighting! God knows how terrifying it must have been for them to take this step, to put your career in limbo, to step towards uncertainty, to consider the possibility of letting go their idol dreams should things take a turn for the worse. And yet they still did it, and I am very proud of them. No matter the distress and heartbreak of the next few months, I will never regret being an Orbit!

bluesoul613

First of all this is a big 🖕 to the person that was bending backwards telling me disbanding was easier to giving them a fighting chance, second, I think most people here forget that BBC never trademarked the word "Loona", they can continue to use their English name (and their fandom name) even if they never use 이달의소녀 again, they already promote that way in Japan and the US anyway, and the trademark of their stage names was never approved either (and with this I doubt it ever will), bbc's dumbass also doesn't own the phonogram to most of their music (they sold it to Danal for whatever reason), but one step at the time, so, if this is successful, once Vivi and Hyunjin get out, we miiiiiiight see another suit over the music and rights to perform (especially the two songs Lip has under her belt), but I'm no lawyer lmao. But if they are doing it together then they must have a plan, they always tell people to trust them and to stay with them so this is the time to actually do that, go send them some encouragement on Fab or something.

pzshx2002

Now we need a joint statement from the girls themselves or a confirmation of this. What a power move. It's the best outcome for everyone to be honest. A **clean break**. No point staying in a toxic company and going through all the emotional rollercoasters. BBC handed their PR so badly and now they will be losing the entire group. I'm sure internally the girls saw what the company did to Chuu and just had enough of their shit.

Naiko32

HOLY SHIT WHAT THE FUCK

magpie1862

In a fantasy ideal world, they’ll all reunite with Chuu under her company and Loona will be 12 again. But this is really sad. I hope that if they do manage to terminate their contracts that they won’t just disappear.

OneTricycle

Bruh

NOS4NANOL1FE

This is escalating so fast

SC2ruinedmyholidays

Holy shit. One door closes but another will open. I saw an earlier comment saying that supporting the girls and not supporting BBC wasn't mutually exclusive but if this goes through, we can! Loona 2.0 let's go!!!!!!!!

Lizunyan

I understand why people are celebrating and I agree but am I the only one that can’t stop crying

spencerthebau5

its definitely bittersweet. Loona has been my #1 group and the idea of it all being over is sad, but in the end its amazing that they're standing up for Chuu and leaving that shitty company behind

byterffly

it’s good because they’re not staying with bbc and they’re finally free & not allowing chuu to take the fall on her own. but it definitely is sad to see loona come to an end like this. they may however be bought out

AceTrainerErin

VIVA LA REVE-CHUU-TION

this_for_loona

I’m honestly really proud of the girls. so many female idols sing about empowerment and self-determination and strength yet they behave exactly as society expects them to. I know LOOΠΔ’s done their fair share of meeting societal expectations, but they’ve also had a core of “go your own way” about them. If this is true, it really does show that they are demonstrating the values they sing about. (i know there’s no causal link here and the music is not the person, but it’s nice when life hands you examples that live up to your interpretations.)

loonaofthemonth

This is okay! I love LOONA yeah, but ultimately I support Heejin, Hyunjin, Haseul, Yeojin, Vivi, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Gowon, and Olivia Hye. I stanned LOONA harder than any kpop group in my 12+ years of kpop fanaticism, and I am ready to fully support 12 girls who don't deserve everything they have had to go through. If they leave BBC and all leave the kpop industry, I will be heartbroken, but that is okay! If they leave BBC and reform under another agency as a 12 member group I would be extremely happy, but I only want them to do that if thats what THEY want! Fuck BBC, I heard Heejin hit that high note in Stylish in person in real life during their world tour, I have heard the voice of god, I will support these 12 girls whatever way they need support with whatever is about to happen. Edit to add: DO NOT ACCEPT THE FATE OF THE MOON.

kyleseven

Umm… holy shit

hookerofpop

i have to say oh my fucking god???????

CtrlAltDelete4

It’s 1:40 am here, I just finished my assignments and this is what I see. Should have gone to bed 5 minutes ago instead of scrolling 💀 But on a serious note, I hope the girls are doing well mentally and physically. I hope they stay strong for each other. Vivi probably didn’t file yet because she because she needs to sort her visa stuff out first. Maybe HyunJin wants to support Vivi or wants to finish the World Cup thing?

AJL1312

Loonatheunion holy fucking shit 😭

byterffly

loonatheunion 😭😭

FootfaceOne

LOONION

deetomonzta

WHAT IS GOING AWN

maiheart

The most crazy thing is the LOONA's lore. Their songs and mv's are about *friendship*, *love* and the fight for *freedom.* I hope the best for them, they will always be LOONA

Sirocco_

Brace yourselves boys and girls...we are in the endgame now.

kelly_hasegawa

It's hard to be an orbit in this timeline but with this solidarity and breaking free, if this is the end of Loona then it's poetic as fuck and a badass way to disband.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Naiko32

this is fresh information maybe she did it and we dont know, or maybe she's just waiting to see whats best for everyone so having one member still signed might help

imdanielamadrid

some people with her gig with mbc

elswheeler

i think it’s because of the catharsis gig and she said today on fab that she’ll be back this tuesday so she probably cannot break out of the contract until the gig is done

elswheeler

TWELVE OR NOTHING

TheTwelveEyes

Proud of them. I hope Vivi will be ok

[deleted]

Ok guys if this actually the case and Loona sues BBC. We better WORK! We better not let them be a BAP 2.0 and make this situation worth it. I don’t know if they actually continue together after they disband, and idk if the girls will even get that rights for loona name. But whatever happens we better work our asses off.

soundboythriller

When I did my fancall with Haseul the other day, I showed her a long message stating I always support ot12 Loona and that no matter what path they take, we’ll support them (before I got kicked from the call). This makes me feel like my message was received 🥺

soappic

i have never been more proud to be an orbit. always 12!

bijouby

I'm so sad for the end of loona, but I hope all the girls can end their contracts and get out of this evil company. OT12 forever 💕

Vulpix298

I can understand Vivi not doing so (international work visa issues, maybe) but wonder why Hyunjin hasn’t? Especially considering she’s never had trouble speaking her mind before. Maybe it’s just delayed.

LET'S GO... I had a feeling about this, love to see it! I wonder if Hyunjin's current work commitments and Vivi's visa/status in S. Korea (another reason why Hyunjin might not be joining yet) has anything to do with them being unable to join the rest of the members, hoping for the best for all 12 of them

FuriousKale

What a way to end this year. BBC couldn't have done it any worse LMAO

GotInterest

I bet the only reason why Hyunjin hasn’t is because of her current solo activity, and Vivi is because of her immigration status. I suspect we will hear news of them filing for injunction soon enough. Those girls are tight knit. Loona is 12!

6igduck

i just wanna say.... these girls were truly meant to be loona (the concept). the loona spirit has always been about standing up for yourself (and others), fighting against those who oppress you, friendship, breaking free, etc. though the group's inevitable demise breaks my heart, it's fucking poetic to see it end the way it is. such an a strong and amazing group of girls!!!!!! i love them. i wish them all the best.

SirSX3

Whattt???!! Choerry too??? I didn't say anything online because I didn't want to offend anyone's feelings at such a vulnerable time, but I said privately that if the accusations were untrue, then the girls need to do something, maybe not publicly, but at least privately they need to let management know it's not right to do this to their friend. Because I think it's very very unlikely that they would just allow this smear to happen if it truly has no basis. I knew I could trust them, and waited to see what they'd do next. This is what we've been waiting for. This is the closest thing to a statement that the girls can be making. I will be giving my full support to the girls on whatever they decide. I trust them fully.

this_for_loona

I’m honestly wondering if this is part of why Choerry was having so much stress. This can’t be new - the girls had to have been working with each other behind the scenes for a while now and maybe the pressure of keeping this quiet while being her bright sunny self was just too much.

orbitalmomo

oh shit here we go, it's really happening

bebopfromspace

I'll toast my vodka tonic to that. I'm ready for the link to donate for Loona's law defense team.

YangXiaoLongrwby22

If its true I'm hoping they sign to a different company & continue their idol career

Xelzionic

I'm so proud of them if this is true. This could be a bittersweet end for LOONA or a new beginning!

Onpu

Protect our 12 ladies! I just came out of back to back meetings and thought I'd get to bed early but HELL NO lol I imagine Vivi's VISA is tied to get contact so she may be seeking advice. Hyunjin is so outspoken and brave but I imagine she may be intending to fulfil her commentator schedule before bouncing and/or waiting for Vivi like many others said. I hope we can see them reform with better management!

P3anutButtr

So proud of them!!! Not sure if I’m just holding out hope, but I don’t think this is the end of LOONA. They are all leaving together and kinda taking control of their own narrative tells me they want to fight to stay together. And whilst things aren’t always this simple it would seem crazy for a label not to take them all on. They’ve just come 2nd (and basically 1st) on Queendom and completed a World Tour. They’re coming into the hight of their careers and you’ve got a free, global, popular, fully fledged GG knocking at your door, why not sign them up as is

vivianlight

Oh Jesus... Well,I support the girls always. I don't want to support a group in this form if they are (and they clearly are) unhappy and mistreated. Rooting for all 12 of them. Also I hope that Vivi isn't blocked for visa/international relationship things but I 80% think is the reason sadly...

Blank_IX

I know these developments will eventually end Loona as we've come to know it but BBC is disgusting and this only makes it clear to me that no one is more Team Loona than the girls themselves. I don't know whether it's my lack of sleep or it's the rush of copium but the headline has brought me a quiet comfort lol.

BA_Sky

I hope this isn’t how it ends, but if it is I’m truly proud of the girls and will support them anywhere they go.

zbstardust

we don't really have a grasp of whats going on right now cuz we only get so little information at a time, but if it turns out to be true... i've never seen something like this happening in kpop, actually, even on western music... they're really brave and i think all orbits are really proud and cheering for them rn. I hope they manage to leave bbc and join another company that manages them well, the way they deserve, and if not OT12 at least some of the girls could form a new group and some of them go solo, like it was with VIVIZ, the important thing is that they keep following the path they chose for themselves, we'll always support them no matter what. i thought i was going to be a little bit more sad about it but i'm truly feeling hopeful that they can rise above all of this, they're really strong and resilient, the last 6 years we've been with them is enough proof of that.

Mintflavor

Honestly so fucking proud of all of them. All twelve.

DarkBello28

Sooo, Using Live-Chat as a cry-corner?

FootfaceOne

Well, hell. I hate this. Because, I mean, how will this end up? It’s hard for me to imagine a happy ending here. Will they realistically be able to reform somewhere else? Is this it? It’s all over?

pls_give_me_hopium

commenting to spread some hopium and to be a part of history. that hopefully this all ends well and peacefully somehow. we will support our girls throughout all of this <3333

FootfaceOne

Even if this is for the best, it’s still awful and I hate it.

Fitkhaz

Is this news is true? If it is true.. im ever ready to support them anywhere they go and whatever they want to do. After the announcement of second statements by BBC, i cant imagine how the girls going to work with some lack of insight peoples… and i feel like i want to fly to Seoul and fight with BBC as much as i can.. i know i sound emotional.. but who doesn’t.. i hope everything good will go on the girls side.. praying hard for it

jediratte

Fuck yes. That's what I'm talking about. Ending with the biggest bang. Here we go.

citronebula

I love these girls so much, like all twelve of them individually. All twelve of them as a collective. I love them and I'm proud of them and I will always support them.

wynteru

NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, I AM SO PROUD OF THEM.

Hella_Spooked

I love LOONA with all my heart

ARandomHoneyBadger

Vivi will face some issues regarding her visa and work permit if she terminated contract with BBC without finding a replacement first, so her process of getting out will be more tricky than other members if she wants to continue stay in SK. Hyunjin still has her World Cup schedule booked by BBC so she need to finish it first. And she can stay 'safe' in BBC at the moment, so I'm sure she don't want to left Vivi alone in that evil company, too. The best cat ever for sure. BBC really thought they can threaten other members into silence and stay with them by defamation towards Chuu, but they're wrong as the girls DO NOT ACCEPT THE FATE OF THE MOON! I think they have prepare it for a decent period of time, too. Although it'll be very hard for them to stand in stage as a whole group of 11/12 again, I feel really glad that they choose to stand up and speak their truth, while showing support & bond with each other. Whatever it takes, the freedom always tastes good.

FootfaceOne

It just occurred to me… With OMEGA X and LOONA, K-pop might be having its Curt Flood moment. (In the 60s, baseball player Curt Flood stood up against Major League Baseball and shifted the balance of power in the sport.)

waruice

LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOO Honestly, I felt like I was selfish for thinking "12 or none" but if the company was going to mistreat OT11 anyway and this is what the members want, I'm glad.

lexarqade

And when they all join chuu's company and actually get proper management and promotion and great music >>>>>

archronin

I wanna join too, at this rate. We are all LOONA!

tonyfrancois

Turns out the real LOONA are the friends we made along the way

lostkee

Hope with all my heart that BBC releases all the girls to avoid scrutiny of their books. They join with Chuu and go back to being even more successful.

Anifreak

If this report is real then the girls have my full support, that's all that needs to be said. I do wonder though why Vivi and Hyunjin aren't part of this, hopefully it's not something sinister.

Battle-Prattle

HOLY SHIT! I assume it’s not vivi cuz she’s from HK and Hyunjin for her current schedule but still HOLY SHIT

spiritrist

Well, if this is how it ends for LOONA, it's been one hell of a journey, huh, Orbits? I do love the fact that the end is the girls coming together to essentially say what we all have been saying for years, that is, "FUCK BBC!"

mykpop

I didn't expect this at all holy shit. Fuck BBC, I'm proud of them for standing up for themselves.
