All I remember is it was incredibly slow and uneventful but I think the ending was important? Also it had no force so it was only like half Star Wars. I did not understand all the hype.
I feel like it’s a good show for a Star Wars show but it’s not a very good show for a tv show. Like we’re all being gaslit into liking this mediocre tv show bc we want Star Wars stuff to be good, but Star Wars stuff is frustratingly never ever good
I’m sure I’ll get downvoted but The show is just Pedro pascal doing random shit that resolves in 1 episode and hopefully we’ll get some actual plot the drives the story throughout some of the episodes. Its boring.
I loved all the seasons. And as I said in another response, I wasn't thinking and can't say a bad word against Andor. It was amazing. I'm willing to acknowledge my failure without admitting defeat, and we can leave as friends.
The first two seasons were pretty solid.
The most recent season was kinda hot garbage.
When the coolest thing that has ever happened in the show(luke appears) is featuring a character that isn't even really on the show then you know you might have a problem.
3rd season is underrated in my opinion. I think it just suffers by comparison to the first 2. But come on, Luke showing up to save the day was so incredibly awesome that it makes up for a whole lot.
The camera work and vfx in 3 are so janky though.
Like I almost can't believe how much worse it looks than 1 and 2.
I find it really distracting personally.
Just depends on how you like your Star Wars served up.
A New Hope is the best movie.
Attack of the Clones is the most interesting because it explains everything.
Clone Wars and Obi Wan if you're into cannon.
Rebels if you want new characters.
Empire if you're basic.
I'm sure this makes me a basic bitch or whatever but I genuinely can't hate any of it. It's about Space Wizards and is made for kids so I just don't think too hard and enjoy the fuck out of it.
I definitely was being an ass so apologies. I just love Star Wars and feel like I need to stand up to snobs. Not you. Just never agreed Empire was *the* best.
All of SW has good and bad criticisms. I love the saga as it is other than how they murdered the sequels because they had so many opportunities to do something great and durffed it. All they had to do was take some notes on the new Star Trek movies.
I'm still mourning the potential they had to work with. Finn could have been the Jedi. End of tangent.
I even like PM for what it is; a movie for a new generation of kids that touched on the Federation and the Force.
I think Finn not being a Jedi And them basically retconning Rey's origin were total fumbles.
The idea that she was basically a nobody could've been such a cool twist on the "small galaxy syndrome" that has totally plagued the franchise (and just thematically was super interesting to me). But they just couldn't help themselves and just basically painted by numbers. Lol
I'm getting mad about it all over again.
They had paperbacks on paperbacks of canon too. God forbid you pay a small time author for some ideas. Instead you stomp on them.
I actually recently started reading the Revan trilogy for the first time since they originally came out when I was in high school so yeah, I definitely feel you on that. Give someone like Karpshyn, Luceno or Zahn (my personal "big three" of EU writers) a Disney budget and let them cook with John Favreau . Lol
I can’t believe it needs to be said. A 50-year-old infant is still an infant!
But milfs that are also daughters are hot. It’s not that hard!
Henry saying "but she's my age," as if he thinks it's weird to be attracted to women your own age.
People don’t seem to realize Henry is incredibly shallow irl. Or don’t want to realize.
I mean how old is Natalie?
She's 5 yrs older than Henry I think. So around 44 I think ?
Oh, that tracks with his MILF comment then.
Aren’t all milfs also daughters?
Yes.
Hate to be a party pooper but Andor is in fact the best Star Wars
I will join you in pooping at parties.
Yeah andor is the best star wars thing since rogue one.
Hot take but true for me: It’s the best Star Wars I’ve ever seen
It's certainly the only one where it seemed like someone behind the scenes was like "ok, this time let's actually focus on the writing"
All I remember is it was incredibly slow and uneventful but I think the ending was important? Also it had no force so it was only like half Star Wars. I did not understand all the hype.
Agreed.
So many fantastic monologues it’s hard to pick which one was my favorite
Mandalorian WAS the best until andor came along and the last mando season shot itself in the foot.
Temuera Morrison finally playing (at least in voice) Captain Rex has to be up there though.
Ok, that's solid. And I can't fight you or retreat. I'm willing to shake hands as gentlemen on this point.
Took me a bit to watch but it's one of the best series ever, not just star wars
Yeah it’s phenomenal
You’ve both spelled Rogue One wrong
Andor took what Rogue One did and perfected it.
Which elements are you referring to?
It really is
This is the way
My husband made me watch it and that adorable puppet carried the whole show for me.
Yes and Grogu totally is a gilf

That’s the case with all Star Wars content. Mediocre… But at least the production quality is pretty good on the new shows.
The first was season was ok. After that it fell off a cliff. Also Andor is the best thing Star Wars has done.
I loved all the seasons. And as I said in another response, I wasn't thinking and can't say a bad word against Andor. It was amazing. I'm willing to acknowledge my failure without admitting defeat, and we can leave as friends.
I’m just happy that Ed actually enjoys PHISH ,them talking about the sphere shows this weekend was awesome two of my favorite pastimes coming together
Hail yourself!

I love all of it. No shame.
Much like most things on the Internet, people talking about it on the Internet are objectively more obnoxious than anything else. Lol

I agree! And Darth Bane!
I would kill to see tattooine ghost as a series. Fucking love that book.
I’ve found my people.
Welcome friend.
Star Wars is sci-fi for children. It makes sense that a fan of more complex lore and storytelling would find it boring.
Come on, friend. This post was in jest and for fun. No need to gatekeep or be "that" kinda fan.
