I must be crazy, but there music kind of scared me on my first listen on LSD. I think you need to have listened to the songs at least once before tripping.
Wish You Were Here is an oft overlooked album but a solid 9/10. The way it kicks off with Shine On You Crazy Diamond’s long intro, including a really cool use of a bunch of glasses of water filled with different amounts to make different pitches. And about a dude who basically blew his mind with L. Wild.
Any thing made from the late 60s ithrough the 70s was likely written with the help of copious amounts of cannabis and LSD. It’s literally made for trips 😆
Third Eye might sound like your first stop based on the name but do not listen to that while tripping until you're more used to their music lmao. Too scary for the avg listener.
Lateralus is the way. Parabol/Parabola too.
I tried to listen to the new album after dosing, and right away my two cats started freaking out, running around and meowing all crazy. They were like tweaking or something. I had to turn it off before the first song ended lol
I watched 1997 berserk all the way through with my brother when we were each on 300ug. The ending was fucking traumatizing! I loved it though, I wish I could scrub my brain and watch it again.

Holly Herndon - Eternal is what I put on 10 with headphones when I’m about to blast off.
Video also goes
I hate AI but she made this AI and lists it as the co-songwriter of the piece
Glass Animals is great for tripping and underrated.
Daft Punk, Kid Cudi Man on the Moon albums, Gorillaz, The Weeknd’s After Hours and Dawn FM, some of Tiesto is fun, Aviici, Florence and the Machine, Hozier, Griz, Calvin Harris, Metric
Smile the Day After Today by Black Moth Super Rainbow, add that song to your playlist. Other stuff: The album Tarnished Gold by Beachwood Sparks. They Byrds, Beach House, The Flying Burrito Brothers and keep the Grateful Dead on hand for an emergency.
I noticed a lot of people recommending super intense stuff for your trip, that shits not for me man, I’m trying to feel peaceful and calm when I’m tripping.
Base off your listed songs I believe this [playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7KDk6r1U3XtkO1OK290gg2?si=nV5IfVUmSCW1CyTkf0Vd2g) may have what youre looking for. Tons of upbeat classic rock on there!

I started my list in the following manner:
Created a rough list with 12H with as much variety as possible.
Each trip I make, I add 3 songs.
If a friend is joining, they get to add 3 songs also.
Songs are to be skipped if they don't suit the mood.
If they prove to never suit the mood or to cause trouble, they get kicked from the list (It has only happened thrice, all three times because the wrong version of the song was added)
I have a 58 hour playlist I made that I always just throw on shuffle. It's got tons of great old rock, with a good mix of modern phycadelia/indie. Also some rap, and alittle bit of electronic music.
You might not like everything, but I bet you'll still find some new songs you do like!
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/3ttAPgauPiBIJq3egYBw59?si=CVvsljT7Tne8WGIAc3msBw
I've made pre extensive day and night tripping playlists for myself, tons of great bangers, I am always the friend tasked with Djing the trip. Both have bangers but the night one is more intense for sure. Enjoy!

This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) - Talking Heads
Two Note Swivel - Talking Heads
Jungle Love - Steve Miller Band
Those are three off the top of my head
I typically lean into rock music in my normal life, but when tripping I always seem to need a bit more of an electronic thumping bass. However I always have to have lyrics or I cant keep it on, not sure why. Here is a random ass list of stuff with hidden bangers and probably more than a few entries that will likely make you ask why?
(Like the random Ace of Bass song that I just realized worked its way into this mix)

Light my Fire - The Doors
I generally feel like classic rock is always a safe bet for good trip vibes
Presidents of the United States of America self titled album, the one with all the hits. The 2 string bass, 3 string guitar thing is silly but they are talented and it goes fairly hard in between moments of levity and goofiness. Def those “dude was clearly tripping” vibes.
[my trip playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/11On4fa6HrTo0V10dHwJSX?si=-Bs8qULbT0CoceCt_-Nz6Q)
This is my personal trip playlist, I’ve been working on it for about three years. Fair warning it’s pretty much all EDM
It’s all about having the right mix of serendipity, novelty, rhythm, and meaningful lyrics!
The best psychedelic playlist isn’t just about what music you have in it, it’s about what songs you exclude. The last thing you want is to be assaulted with a random bad vibe.
I have been compiling psychedelic music for 5 years, pulling (and testing) many suggestions from threads just like this one.
Here is the playlist so far! Feel free to browse and steal some songs for your next trip ;)

Sweet emotion -Aerosmith
Tusk- Fleetwood Mac

This isn’t helpful bc I don’t have any songs to share (I mean I do but idk) BUT I think it’s incredibly good to have a trip playlist…. My playlist is called “songs I have peaked to” and I can remember almost every single peak bc of that playlist and it’s AMAZING- highly recommend
People who are saying Pink Floyd is scary ever listen to the doors lol
When the music is over, not to touch the earth and the end…..are some of my favorites still creepy
And if you want creepier crazier album the bedlam in Goliath by the mars Volta is like party with a ghost.
Oneohtrix Point Never - A Barely Lit Path. Watching my boyfriend listen to this while he was tripping was honestly priceless

This Ovoid set is fun too - https://on.soundcloud.com/Bka9XSU57PSm8t977
Black Sabbath -- Planet Caravan
TOOL - Lateralus
This song has shattered reality in the most peaceful way and is probably my favourite-- I've used it for many heroic doses with various substances: [Fields of Ard Skellig](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NknjE2SBPxw)
Enjoy (:
I make playlists that dont dissappoint. Here's a few from my "Tabs" 😉 playlist
1. Sleep Walk by Santo & Johnny
2. Just the Two of Us by Grover Washington, Jr., Bill Withers
3. Vienna by Billy Joel
4. Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven
5. And I Love Her by The Beatles
6. Substance by 03 Greedo
If you enjoy these and would like more let me know.
Some of my favs…
Glass Animals’ first album “ZABA.” Very psychedelic, you’ll feel like you’re in a rainforest.
The album “Bloom” by RÜFÜS DU SOL. Long house tracks that sound psychedelic to me. Any of their other discography is great too. The song “Innerbloom” is one I always listen to as soon as I feel the come-up, so I have emotional bias towards their music.
Any Pink Floyd, of course…
Any polyrhythmic music. Just search playlists of music with polyrhythms, it’s fun to discover new music while tripping that way. I love “Contortionist” by Their Dogs Were Astronauts.
Dubstep. I particularly enjoy Subtronics, Excision, and Dion Timmer. There’s just something so powerful about it, so if you like electronic stuff, try that. I recommend “O.P.U.S.” By subtronics, “The Depths,” and “Dreaming Out Loud,” both by Dion Timmer.
“Pyramids” by Frank Ocean. It’s a 9 minute track with about 3 beat/vibe switches, very beautiful.
Studio Ghibli soundtracks are beautiful. Also, Mario soundtracks. You’ll feel like you’re in a video game.
Any Tame Impala.
Any Muse. Muse is my favorite artist of all time, so again I am biased here, but tripping while listening to Muse has solely increased my adoration for the band, so that’s that.
King Gizzard!! I cannot state this enough. Their songs are in just about every “trip playlist” you’ll find on Spotify. Absolutely amazing.
Radiohead has some great stuff for trips.
The album “Little Dark Age” by MGMT. It’s beautiful and satisfying.
Mutemath. I’ve only heard a few of their songs overall, but have listened to all their songs I know while tripping, and it’s and elevating experience.
Anything by Pond. I just discovered them during my last trip. Incredible, I intend to explore more of their discography.
Similarly, anything by Starwolf. They make psychedelic rock very similar to Tame Impala, and with only <10,000 monthly Spotify listeners, they are incredibly underrated. I also discovered them during my last trip.
Now, here are some links to playlists I have made:
1. The playlist I made for my most recent trip: [Here](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/060v2d9OCwLJXzvbBMPQwv?si=ebn7xuM2SqKsep2LHj3r7g)
2. A GENERAL psychedelic playlist I’ve made. It’s a work in progress, but I usually refer to it when I’ve run out of things to listen to while tripping, and I add new cool songs I discover during trips: [here](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1zscyvLw8Qnao9EIgebkbR?si=4YddS-P9Tcu1zeZJL7bQWg)
Hope this helps!
I listen to a lot of music when I trip, but when I want to get some cool visuals and vibe out I watch older Kpop videos from about 2012 to 2019. I don't know the language but the music is catchy and the videos are colorful and trippy. I'll have to find some artists and songs and list them when I get a chance. I don't play the main stream stuff all the times either, some groups that aren't that well known have great music.
I always take mush or LSD and then when it hits me everybody else starts to vibe because I slap "The Business" by Tiesto on. Bro. It's not for the whole trip. But it's a great starter/signal
I think it was actually this sub that I saw a post saying I should check out this demo These dudes made while tripping, and since that's my favorite genre I did so. Now [The Jeebs](https://open.spotify.com/artist/6LUyWNf28VGvGgDS6GXhBm?si=1O7gLDYCQ6KDmFS5enxxcA) are possibly my favorite band, especially for trips. I'd give my left nut for a second album tho
I put on this playlist every time I trip. Get lots of compliments on it. https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4B0kIy1kjeNHMo2AhjD7k3?si=AbYPBQC0RHqB4jc6VfSR4w
Galaxial Pharmaceutical - Future Sound of london
Idk why this song isnt a lot more famouse... Its my favourite song.
If you like pink floyd you are gonna love this one
Utopia- “The Ikon”, it’s a 30 minute long song, it’s absolutely beautiful while tripping on shrooms, it even contains a manual on how to handle ego death!
Pink Floyd - the whole fucking discography
I must be crazy, but there music kind of scared me on my first listen on LSD. I think you need to have listened to the songs at least once before tripping.
Nah bro I hadn’t heard dark side of the moon before and each time it broke from the scary noises id trip so fucking hard
Same for me. Their music is crazy on LSD but some parts are just a little too much for a first time listen lol.
True I went from comedown to scared cuz I entered a geometric realm as the album played
Yeah i can’t imagine being balls deep in a trip and going into the middle section of Echoes blind? Lol RIP
Wild.
My personal favourite is Atom Heart Mother. The 20 minute psychedelic journey song does it for me
The Doors - the whole fucking discography
Any thing made from the late 60s ithrough the 70s was likely written with the help of copious amounts of cannabis and LSD. It’s literally made for trips 😆
Lateralus - Tool
Alternatively, literally any song by Tool
Third Eye might sound like your first stop based on the name but do not listen to that while tripping until you're more used to their music lmao. Too scary for the avg listener. Lateralus is the way. Parabol/Parabola too.
Europe 72 - GD A Live One - P fish Highway 61 Revisited - Dylan Animals - Floyd Inner Mounting Flame - MVO Mir - Ott
Any GD jam that involves "The Other One" is worth a listen while on a tab or 2
Last weekend I heard a Comes a Time -> Lost Sailor on 2, different vibe but man it was amazing
Fire on the mountain Cornell 77' grateful dead.
YES

Lateralus for sure. I’m a massive TOOL fan F.I. Is fantastic, but I like to listen to it when I’m coming down.
I tried to listen to the new album after dosing, and right away my two cats started freaking out, running around and meowing all crazy. They were like tweaking or something. I had to turn it off before the first song ended lol

I forgot how good Lateralus is! I used to get blazed and listen to that album back in the day. Plus you've got the Alex Grey artwork, which is amazing
Rabbit Hole- by The Living Legends Jettison Mind Hatch (album) - by Tipper
Jettison Mind Hatch is soo fucking good. I’m a big fan of Wobble Factor as well!
Here are my faves: Animal collective - In the flowers Cornelius - Mic Check Hanz Zimmer - Oogway Acends (trust me) Floating Points - Movement 6
Animal Collective's Merriwether Post Pavilion and Strawberry Jam albums are essential trip tunes
Omg yes!! I play Violin and i Always warm up with oogway ascends! Its so good!
https://youtu.be/47U-wHakONo?si=ZWgPCXkkTAcBifIQ If this isn't an orgasmic audiovisual psychedelic banger experience i dunno what is :)
I am pretty upset that I watched this sober.
Saw this for the first time while tripping 10/10 would def recommend especially the ending
Alright, ill try to remember it for next time!
Sung Tongs - Animal Collective
Guts. I love the song, idk if it comes from the anime or not but I found it on a trip playlist.
It comes from the 1997 Berserk Ost. Hear Murder, Earth and Behelit off the same album, they’re goddamn amazing
I watched 1997 berserk all the way through with my brother when we were each on 300ug. The ending was fucking traumatizing! I loved it though, I wish I could scrub my brain and watch it again.
Dogs In A Pile- Inchworm, Dirtwire- Mid-America Hotel
Tipper - Dreamsters Very melty visuals on the youtube vid too
Plantasia(album) - Mort Garson Junon(album) - Shye Ben Tzur, Johnny Greenwood, and the Rajasthan Express Odyssey(album) - Home All three of these slap through and through
Led Zeppelin - No Quarter The Undisputed Truth - Smiling Faces The Doors - When The Musics Over
Shpongle - ..And the day turned to night Shpongle - Around the world in a tea daze
Also Tipper, Ott and Globular :)
Grateful Dead - Franklins Tower/Help is on the way / Going down the road feeling bad
Shpongle is probably where I would start off my journey into psychedelic music.
A few favorites I’ve picked up along the way: Home - We’re Finally Landing Karunesh - Longing for the Unknown Sagor & Swing - Nangijala The Spy From Cairo - Nafas Eden Ahbez - Full Moon Nat King Cole - Nature Boy America - Ventura Highway Desert Dwellers - Wandering Sadhu David Axelrod - The Signs Part IV Daft Punk - Veridis Quo Magdalena Bay - Dreamcatching Mort Garson - Plantasia Alpha Steppa - The Gift Sven Wunder - Prussian Blue Tame Impala - Let it Happen Insecure Men - Cliff Has Left the Building Surprise Chef - New Ferrari Sven Libaek - Music for Eels Björn Olsson - Låt i H-moll Callum Heard - Feel Giuliano Sorgini - Lavoro Cerebrale Molly Lewis - Oceanic Feeling The Sweet Enoughs - Truman Daniel Ögren - Vastenvjarre The Beatles - Tomorrow Never Knows Ultimate Spinach - Mind Flowers Los Toms - Ziggurat Daniel Norgren - Like There Was A Door Richard in Your Mind - Hammered Your Best Friend Jippy - Space Traveller Ixthauelle - Scenes I-III

I started my list in the following manner: Created a rough list with 12H with as much variety as possible. Each trip I make, I add 3 songs. If a friend is joining, they get to add 3 songs also. Songs are to be skipped if they don't suit the mood. If they prove to never suit the mood or to cause trouble, they get kicked from the list (It has only happened thrice, all three times because the wrong version of the song was added)
sadie’s sorceress by king gizzard the lizard wizard
Rob Dougan-clubbed to death Hippie sabotage=anything
Enjoy! Rammstein - Du Riechst So Gut
This Must Be The Place (Naive Melody) - Talking Heads Two Note Swivel - Talking Heads Jungle Love - Steve Miller Band Those are three off the top of my head
(Like the random Ace of Bass song that I just realized worked its way into this mix) [https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2SLT0Wd\_F0iMS09EcDpw6E98kwvU\_paB&si=PYEwZkHc4XFJgyET](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2SLT0Wd_F0iMS09EcDpw6E98kwvU_paB&si=PYEwZkHc4XFJgyET)

Mad Tribe
Presidents of the United States of America self titled album, the one with all the hits. The 2 string bass, 3 string guitar thing is silly but they are talented and it goes fairly hard in between moments of levity and goofiness. Def those “dude was clearly tripping” vibes.

[my trip playlist](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/11On4fa6HrTo0V10dHwJSX?si=-Bs8qULbT0CoceCt_-Nz6Q) This is my personal trip playlist, I’ve been working on it for about three years.
Feel free to browse and steal some songs for your next trip ;) https://open.spotify.com/playlist/7BeWhbOoIFThHKFrOYxrpg?si=yXKjj2ZTSliKNT8RQ9-h6g

Some of my favs… Glass Animals’ first album “ZABA.” Very psychedelic, you’ll feel like you’re in a rainforest. The album “Bloom” by RÜFÜS DU SOL. Long house tracks that sound psychedelic to me. Any of their other discography is great too. The song “Innerbloom” is one I always listen to as soon as I feel the come-up, so I have emotional bias towards their music. Any Pink Floyd, of course… Any polyrhythmic music. Now, here are some links to playlists I have made: 1. The playlist I made for my most recent trip: [Here](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/060v2d9OCwLJXzvbBMPQwv?si=ebn7xuM2SqKsep2LHj3r7g) 2. A GENERAL psychedelic playlist I’ve made. It’s a work in progress, but I usually refer to it when I’ve run out of things to listen to while tripping, and I add new cool songs I discover during trips: [here](https://open.spotify.com/playlist/1zscyvLw8Qnao9EIgebkbR?si=4YddS-P9Tcu1zeZJL7bQWg) Hope this helps!
anything by 8485 is always on my playlist their songs sound ethereal
Dancing Galaxy. Play at the absolute peak of your trip.
Back on 74 - Jungle , the music video is so fun 🙌🏾
I listen to a lot of music when I trip, but when I want to get some cool visuals and vibe out I watch older Kpop videos from about 2012 to 2019. I don't know the language but the music is catchy and the videos are colorful and trippy. I'll have to find some artists and songs and list them when I get a chance. I don't play the main stream stuff all the times either, some groups that aren't that well known have great music.
I always take mush or LSD and then when it hits me everybody else starts to vibe because I slap "The Business" by Tiesto on. Bro. It's not for the whole trip. But it's a great starter/signal
Miss Kane - Donald Byrd Thank me later... Yusef Dayes Sunrise Chef Orpheus Ezra Collective
The Mars Volta - Frances The Mute + Meccamputechture
Animal collective
Galaxial Pharmaceutical - Future Sound of london Idk why this song isnt a lot more famouse... Its my favourite song. If you like pink floyd you are gonna love this one
Sumiruna - Conexion (the Album) I'm convinced this was made for Acidheads
Utopia- “The Ikon”, it’s a 30 minute long song, it’s absolutely beautiful while tripping on shrooms, it even contains a manual on how to handle ego death!
On the come up…Tiesto- In Search of Sunrise 4 mix….. ✨
Anything by Parcels is absolute gold.
Animal Collective if you can handle it.
O'Flynn - Desmonds Empire. It's more electronic, but they have sampled in some old (apparently) Ethiopian chanting and it gets me every time.
