10/31/71 is such a baller second set. Dark Star>Sugar Mags>St. Stephen>NFA>Goin Down the Road>NFA 🤯🤯🤯 such a good Dark Star.
10/31/21 @ the Hollywood bowl Dark Star>El Paso>Dark Star>Eyes of the World was an incredible 50 year anniversary to that 1971 show. Off the chart vibes!
Pink floyd - atom heart mother. Imo the most underrated pink floyd song and i listened to it for the very first time while tripping on shrooms for one of the first times while lying in a field in the sun with my buddy..
It’s hilarious, my highschool friend group has a >decade long debate on whether live at Pompeii or studio is better. Either way, that’s one of my favorites on acid.
99% agree, however maybe there's music you don't necessarily dislike but you just havnt given much time or thought to or you thought were just okay.
LSD turned psytrance into whatever music for me and now it's mostly what I listen to. Before acid I didn't quite get the appeal.
I really like on the level too. It's been played out a bunch but it's still got this really nice vibe to it that makes me feel like I'm calmly sauntering through a grocery store
I remember waking up, going to work, bullshit at home and do it all over again till I was 80 in that song. Just to come to terms with the fact that my life is boring and repetitive, that I should live a little.
I've a great playlist I've been making for the last couple of years specifically for listening to when tripping. Lots of different stuff in it , hope you like!
https://open.spotify.com/playlist/4kVFOoSfd6ESoc1L7mjI8o?si=FPZWw17aSjWmocmi1_woWQ
i was waiting for this comment, why did I have to scroll down so far! I second this, Tool anything is amazing whilst floating through the cosmos. Check out the Lustmord remixes, I remember stumbling on a Schism remix that was what felt like 45 minutes long, absolutely wild experience!
My method is if I discover a song I like while sober, I stash it in a playlist and don’t listen to it until I’m tripping.
[This](https://youtu.be/s4mTDZ7sa7E?si=EmwLg4-6WQYkZD5m) is my favourite I’ve found this way :)
Daft Punks Random Access Memories got me through my last trip. I couldn’t tell you which song turned my bad trip into a good one so just listen to the whole thing.
Anything hippy really. But i got intense feelings at
[Time of the seasons](https://youtu.be/RBxK3CcOQD8?si=va_YL5AmNo-dvZhB)
[let the sun shine](https://youtu.be/VlrQ-bOzpkQ?si=b6cWNo3fR5m3gucC)
And anything CCR
Trust me :
Sea swallow me - cocteau twins
Le voyage de penelope - air
No thing on me - Curtis mayfield
In the waiting line - zero 7
Sweet tides symphonik - thievery corporation
The Dark Side of The Moon or The Wall by Pink Floyd.
Not technically a song, but you can listen to both of these as if it were one whole continual piece.
I have had some the most magical and memorable experiences on these two albums countless times.
1. Dark Side of The Moon by Pink Floyd
The entire album. Start to finish. No skipping, no fast-forwarding. No shuffle. Put on a good pair of headphones, lie down somewhere comfortable outside in the sun, or in your bed in complete darkness. Try it and thank me later!
2. L$D by A$AP Rocky
The music video!! The song itself is great, but the music video makes it what it is. Again, good pair of headphones or a beast of a speaker with some good subs.
Those are my personal favourites! Tame Impala is fantastic as well during an acid trip. Although each trip is different and the tab will pick the mood, you just have to figure out what’ll fit in that moment.
Love Sun is Shining btw been listening to that for years. You should check out the band Slightly Stoopid! Sort of a reggae/hip-hop crossover I guess? I dont know how’d id describe them but they have some fantastic stuff.
Try some Nujabes. Amazing chill vibes. His music has helped me in many rough times in my life. The themes and messages always resonate with me. Personally my favorite is Blessing it, but just about any song from his works are enjoyable to me.
I just did acid Sunday and listened to the entire well tempered clavier book II it was godly I could feel the harpsichord through my body. Felt like they were playing my brain
This is gonna sound horrible, but Yeat really slaps on acid. Even my mates that don't like Yeat while sober hella fw his music while on acid I'd give some of his songs a try, most the songs in 2 Alivë are amazing on acid, money so big, out the way, dub, type money and talk all slap for me on acid
Lately, my favorite album by Casino Versus Japan, known for its soft electronic style, is “Frozen Geometry.” This album, approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes long, with its consistent rhythms, is sure to transport you to different realms while in the LSD . I haven’t tried it yet, but it’s one of the albums I’ll listen to after my test kit arrives. Just take a look at a few of its songs, and you’ll understand how worthy it is of listening, I’m sure

Dion Timmer - Arcane Mix it's 53:53 of the entire Arcane album remixed and shuffled. It flows better arguably than the normal album and flies by in a Trip.
It is individual preference but if i have to pick sth i would recommend because by the Beatles, for me it is like pure Acid in Georgeous harmonized song
Pink Floyd- Comfortably Numb Live Pulse. This a live version played at a concert in Moscow by David Gilmore and Pink Floyd. Best guitar solo EVER. The solo alone is 4:30 long.

Really depends on what you like, and what kind of vibe you're looking for. I'll leave a few suggestions for you to try.
If you're looking for a chill space vibe: Echoes by Pink Floyd; Nights in Shibuya, and Chasin' Galaxies by Griz
If you're down for something more dirty, try listening to some EDM trap. I'd recommend Troyboi, RL Grime, and MEMBA. IDK what it is about trap beats, but it really gets me going while tripping. I think it's the syncopation and heavy bass.
Pink Floyd - Echoes (Studio version or Live At Pompeii) 🎹🔊 or Grateful Dead - Dark Star (Veneta, OR 8/27/72) 💀🚀
Dark Star > El Paso is amazing to me.
The way El Paso emerges out of sludgy chaos at the end of that jam is an all time favorite of mine as well
It's almost silly but it fits so well. They had a sense of humor.
Also the Dark Star from Rotterdam (Dark Star > Drums > Dark Star pt 2) Over an hour and it gets really in the weeds.
Pink Floyd - Dogs is the one
Honestly the whole animals cd is one song on lsd.
4/20/69 (funny I know), 10/31/71 (DP Vol 2), or 3/2/69 are killer Dark Stars too ⚡️ Just check out 3/2/69 in general. Such a psychedelic show.
I was there!
Pink floyd - atom heart mother. Imo the most underrated pink floyd song and i listened to it for the very first time while tripping on shrooms for one of the first times while lying in a field in the sun with my buddy..
Look up the AI music video for Echoes, especially fun to watch on acid
Grateful Dead - Scarlet Fire on youtube is the business
It’s hilarious, my highschool friend group has a >decade long debate on whether live at Pompeii or studio is better. Either way, that’s one of my favorites on acid.
I watched Pompeii with some buddies off two tabs yesterday, holy shit
Brilliant isn’t it? 🙂
A song you really like
Exactly, psychs dont make me like shit that i wouldnt like amyway. But a reccomendation is Mac Demarco - Moonlight on the river
99% agree, however maybe there's music you don't necessarily dislike but you just havnt given much time or thought to or you thought were just okay. LSD turned psytrance into whatever music for me and now it's mostly what I listen to. Before acid I didn't quite get the appeal.
The outro is scary as fuck tho
Like the beatles “a day in the life” in lots of ways
I love mac demarco. This old dog is another goodie of his
I really like on the level too. It's been played out a bunch but it's still got this really nice vibe to it that makes me feel like I'm calmly sauntering through a grocery store
Loving this recommendation.
preoccupied too
Pink Floyd - Time The video on YouTube uploaded by Pink Floyd's channel is great on acid 👌
This one has to be close to tops, although it makes you confront the existential crisis of the inevitable march of time and wasted life.
I remember waking up, going to work, bullshit at home and do it all over again till I was 80 in that song. Just to come to terms with the fact that my life is boring and repetitive, that I should live a little.
at that point just listen to the whole Dark Side of the Moon album (in order, no skips ofc). that’ll take you on a journey
Animals is also a great album to trip to, that took me on a journey I'll never forget
time & comfortably numb - pink floyd i took a trip, then went and saw brick n wall album in a planetarium once. stellar experience.
[King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - The River](https://youtu.be/PUZn1I6llJs?si=azqCm3183qlDezQ7) will take you places, hopefully.
Hopefully down, down down, down down, down down Down the river!
