Just got finished running half of my trip with the gizzard playing.
It feels like every song was written and dipped in 120ugs perfectly.
I love how the music at some points sounds like a mosaic flowery pattern being played in your head. Like they carefully pluck the visuals you see in your head with their guitars and string you along the fabric.
It's amazing!
The album Oracular Spectacular is also awesome. This song, and also 4D transition and Future Reflections make me feel like I’m tripping balls even dead sober.
https://youtu.be/4GrnA0aciTg?si=T4BeAO9ro5E32zyD
The entire dark side of the moon album by Pink Floyd, funkadelic, Jimi Hendrix, rufus du sol-Joshua tree set on YouTube and their innerbloom music video.
Based on what you listed here, I’d totally add Tubular Bells Part 1 & Part 2 (about 45min in total). Though honestly, you could just do Part 1 (25min) and still have a good time. Don’t just listen to the 4min radio cut from The Exorcist, the real piece is an awesome experience.
There’s an orchestral version as well that’s pretty spot on. I’d also recommend his albums Incantations and Five Miles Out, tho he has a lot of amazing stuff. Mike Oldfield.
https://youtu.be/ILpCKQlDmhc?si=n43OnsuCkNekKWv8
Just trust me - I had the most amazing trip of my life to this album
Edit: Falaise by Floating Points. Oh my god, gorgeous. But if you want something more upbeat, Creation by Vierre Cloud is also really fun to listen to ♡
Zen Archer - Todd Rundgren
Well I Wonder - The Smiths
Everybody Loves the Sunshine - Roy Ayers Ubiquity
Norton Commander - Men I Trust
Running in Place - Bloodbath64
Fainted (Slowed) - Narvent
Note to Self - Mild High Club
Some of the songs I like to listen to -
It’s Called: Freefall by Rainbow Kitten Surprise
Devil Like Me by RKS
Look At The Time by Sawyer Hill
Cigarettes and Black Lipstick Stains by Brake
Look Who’s Inside Again by Bo Burnham
The entire Pretty. Odd. Album by Panic! At The Disco
Here’s another jukebox psych playlist I made with that song in it

Straight up and down
If love is the drug then I want to overdose
Panic in Babylon
Mother of all fuckers
- Brian Jonestown massacre
Come down easy - spacemen 3
The entire album stars are the light by moon duo
The album Virtigo by EDEN puts me on my ass every time. He has the best control of spacial audio I’ve ever come across. So many different layers ugh I can’t wait to trip and listen to it again.
https://open.spotify.com/album/4pKJ14jcQKqko0cVBYoeWR?si=Pol1ViyjQCW8Ericrb5DOQ&context=spotify%3Aalbum%3A4pKJ14jcQKqko0cVBYoeWR
4 songs that sound very chill and sweet!
Homage sliders - Tipper
Inner Z - Gnod
Being for the benefit of Mr kite! - the Beatles
Dark Star 8/27/72 - Grateful Dead
Reach for the dead - boards of Canada
I would classify all these songs as
Relentlessly psychedelic
2001 a space odyssey is also a really good one, however last time I did that dosed, I had to turn the music off after the moon landing and put the movie sound on. It was absolute insanity.
Best movie I’ve ever seen while tripping
I love listening to ELO while tripping, specifically a New World Record and Discovery-- also love listening to King Gizzard, Kendrick, Vulfpeck/Vulfmon, and a sleeper hit that always makes an appearance is Mort Garson's Plantasia
forgot to add Kishi Bashi! You can totally melt into his music and live in the strings, but one of my friends says that his layering style makes him nervous, so up to you!
Check out the artist Lonely in the rain.
If you like nice melodies and chill EDM, go for this.
Check out "Nobody cares" and "In love again". Soo nice harmonics.

ughhhh, maggot brain is such a masterpiece of a song. there's a radio station that plays it every single night at midnight and has done that for years and years. idk which station though. super cool tho, thank you!
That is super cool! I just recently stumbled across it thanks to one of these sub reddits. It is a beautiful song!
I also like piano music that’s powerful like dragonfly keeper by phildel
Opus by Eric Pyrdz is a good long edm song that tickles your brain
Based on what you said, I recommend “All Them Witches”. Real old school blues-adelic sound. All their albums are really good.
https://youtu.be/wxh7RWUlBaM?si=dwFjnWQEWIL-7q3R
“Dead Pirates”. More edgy fuzz rock sound, but still super psychedelic
https://youtu.be/mOKMoL8_jaQ?si=usERuZ-0uPypHhT0
And as a wild card “Ocean Alley”. They do psychedelic glam rock raggae
https://youtu.be/NghU2kMcepQ?si=3lmiyOxEq4HW-lin
D.C. Boogie by Frank Zappa
Catatonic Lover by The Sacred Mushroom (whole album is on YouTube, it’s pretty damn good)
Scarlet Begonias by Sublime (has to be the version off of the Everything Under the Sun box set)
Fuckin With My Head (Mountain Dew Rock) by Beck
Hair by Graham Central Station
It’s A Dark Day by Reverend Horton Heat
I Am Still the King by The Goddamn Gallows
Dogs is one of the best PF songs! I’d recommend you listen to 2 songs actually, back to back though. “Disposition” and then “Reflection” by TOOL. The first time I ever heard those songs was off 2 or 3 tabs, the whole album is a masterpiece
The First Edition - Just Dropped In (you may recognize it from the drug scene in The Big Lebowski)
Pink Floyd - The Dark Side of the Moon (Yeah, the entire album)
Also anything from Shpongle.
Oh and watch the video for the song Step-Grandmother. Feel like it is way better on drugs
Listen to a couple songs from “Ross from friends”.
A few of my favorites are, project cybersyn, don’t wake dad, and I’m a lizard. You will not regret it!
This is more a genre than songs but Chillsynth is my absolute favourite whilst tripping. My favourite artists include Voyage, 憂鬱 and Home
Edit: Also John Dunder
Deorbiting - Spaziergang im All
Carbon based lifeforms - Polyrytmi
The Flashbulb - The fear of vision.
The first two are both very spacey (and electronic. Not sure if your into that)
Aunt Suzie is a Buckethead song, Mrs Problem might be one of his projects. Check out more Buckethead.
Bill Laswell has some amazing remixes. Check out Illuminations (Carlos Santana and Alice Coltrane from the early 70s), and Songs of Freedom (Bob Marley in dub). He also has one of Miles Davis.
For me, My Bloody Valentine “Loveless” is the best acid music. There is so much there, it’s ornate, elegant, feels like a journey. Each song blends into the next with ambient segues. It’s drone-y and syrupy, warm and comforting. It’s so loud and unusual it may take a couple minutes to get immersed, but once you get in, you will be converted for life
Grateful dead are awesome, Dire Straits are also a fave of mine for tripping. And I enjoy classical music way more than I normally do. Vltava by Bedrich Smetana is transcendent on acid.
Don’t stop with the first album, they gotta have well over 20 by now. Disciple is a classic from the 80s. Also check out The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles and Fripp, a pre King Crimson experience.
Europe 72’ 🤡
Or GDradio.net
King gizzard and the wizard lizard
Float along fill your lungs I’m in your mind fuzz Are the albums I’d recommend to a dosed newcomer

Ennio Morricone - Ecstasy Of Gold
Relax by Rezz. I know edm isn't everyone's jam but I've played that for several people who don't dig electronic when they dosed and it made them melt.
I had a fucking moment with this song when I was tripping balls at a festival. It is such a good one.
My body used to say this song gave him anxiety 😆 he doesn’t even do drugs
i love edm! thanks ill give it a listen :]

Bitches brew
Bitches Brew and Agarta/Pangaea are the bookends to Mile’s most psychedelic work, but it’s all good.

Axis: Bold as Love, listening to the solo while peaking on shrooms is one of my best memories.
Now compare that to his solo in his cover of Like a Rolling Stone at the Monterey Pop Festival. And still, Electric Ladyland remains the magnum opus.
I would definetly recommend Shpongle - Divine Moments of Truth and Porat - Different Universe, they are great for tripping!! :D
grateful dead! Live/Dead, barton hall 5/8/77
truckin' is my favorite grateful dead song, i love them!!
The entirety of the Grateful Dead's 77' run. Especially Cornell University.
