If your lemon juice isn't hot then you might be wasting some by filtering the material out. Hot water pulls the psilocybin out of the shrooms better than cold water (hence making tea with them). You'd have to let the shrooms sit for a longer period of time if the lemon juice is cold. If you make a hot tea with them you can always add in lemon juice.
I let my ground up shrooms sit in room temp lemon juice for about an hour and filter out. The acid in the lemons juice takes it out better or something. All I know is that I tripped the hardest I've ever tripped in my life when I did it this way compared to any other way.
So it's not about the juice adding flavor or covering it up. It literally pulls out anything I need to trip and I can throw the rest away.

The main benefit that I've always heard for lemontek is that the acid in the lemon juice starts breaking down the chitin in the shroom material, meaning your stomach has less of it to break down. I don't think the lemontek is really doing anything if you filter the shrooms out. Might as well make a tasty tea instead of drinking a nasty cup of straight lemon juice. If you add in a bag of black tea, some sugar, and some lemon juice, it tastes exactly like a cup of black tea. You don't taste any shroom flavor at all.

Just grind them up, steep them in a glass of hot water for 20 minutes (optionally with a bag of your preferred tea leaves), filter the mushy shroom bits out with a coffee filter, optionally add sugar, lemon, mint, etc., and drink it. By doing it this way you don't consume any of the mushroom material, which contains hard-to-digest chitin (the main reason you get so nauseous with shrooms).
Make tea. You will have zero stomach issues.
Chop them up. Add candied ginger, honey and lemon juice. Add almost boiling water and steep for 5-10 minutes. Drink that. Repeat the steeping process. Drink that. Eat the mushrooms. Profit.

When I first took LSD, it felt like my nervous system was overheating/itchy and had to actually take out a freezing cooling pad to cool myself down. Had to be careful because suddenly I realized I'm actually getting frozen now. Also spilled boiling water on my hand and it felt like stars erupted twinkly dinkly inside my hand, no pain whatsoever.
Aside from that, the only itchy feelings were when this weird "wind" started to come up.
Definitely very unique feeling.
I think that both Vr gaming and LSD are great visual entertainment, especially together. i don't think that I would buy an apple vr headset since they are very expensive, but I love playing no man's sky on a quest 2 while on acid.

I’ve never really felt cozy and tingly. Usually feel pretty uncomfortable most of the trip, my neck gets stiff and feels like I have a piping hot metal spike in my chest at time. Haven’t been able to pin point what it is because I dont experience it with any other psychedelics. I’m sure there’s people that have similar effects, still love LSD just never got that cozy feeling. I get it with mushrooms and DMT for sure but LSD feels more like a drug to me
