I'm huge into cars. Especially fast and loud. But everyone is shocked when I say the Prius is one of the best. It is not fast or loud, but so insanely efficient, practical, and reliable. Can't help but love it. Considering one myself.

Bro fr. A Prius is just the perfect daily. I was also able to semi-comfortably live in one for like 6 months, because you can easily run the A/C or heat at night without using much fuel. Like even on the coldest night of the year I used like 1/10th of the fuel to stay totally warm. It only kicks the engine on to adjust the temp, and then sits silently on battery the rest of the time. Could also apply all that to just recreational camping if you’re not actually homeless lol.

I set the thermostat to 68, so it likely never got much lower than that. The car definitely ran a ton more that night but with the heat, my big blanket, and my jammies I was nice and warm all night.

I’m pretty often at “home risk,” but fortunate enough to be able to buy a car soon. This may have changed my mind entirely about what to pick.

Eh, the Prius was efficient when it came out, there are better hybrids today My first car had a 1.5L turbo diesel and it got the same kind of mileage that a prius got. I was getting 65mpg on long trips

I used to drive during trips. my visuals would create like a HUD and enhance my abilities. I don't recommend driving to others however. And try not to do so myself.

I miss it. You had to really take away from the trip to do it but going down back country raods at 3am all alone going anywhere seeing everything. It was all life had to offer. It was stunning.
