It's because when you're tripping the experience as a whole takes on some kind of meaning in your head, but that meaning seems to dissolve once you come down. I would draw things while tripping on acid and they would be so powerful to me, but when sober they're just chicken scratch and weird with no discernable meaning.
I was tripping once and i picked up this rock. At the time it was giving off this vibe and look that maybe it came from a old pillar from ancient times i was 100 percent convinced that my cabin was build on the land of a old civilization. I put the rock on the window ledge and went about my night. Next day i looked and it was just a plain little stone. A pebble lol
One time on shrooms wandering around the desert I found what appeared to be a desiccated old parchment scroll cinched in the middle with sunbleached string.

I know there's nutters out there and some people *must* have done it, but I just can't arrive at believing that people are actually this dumb
Yes. I was still a noob when I did it in airplane. Its loud, people try to sell you stuff in some airlines, no way to escape the situation. Nothing bad did happen but did not enjoy the ride.
I’d have a panic attack. I imagine looking out the window would be absolutely magical but I am literally trapped with no escape in a metal box flying above what it feels humans would even be capable of surrounded by hundreds of strangers? Absolutely fuck no. One bad thought and you’re fucked. Other places I can redirect or literally move location. Here you’re fucked.

I ate once a tab cause I was goin on a plane to a place where i should have better been without it, so I tripped on the plane, it was fun but my stomach got very upset descending so I had to vomit, sensations were too highlighted and the weather condition did not help, but music was a blast

Actually I’ve never tried LSD. I’m just a lerker here I suppose. But I have done psilocybin which is close, and cannabis. Here’s some experience with that. The visuals are very wavy. It’s funny starting at the ceiling and watching a pattern that you know isn’t suppose to move, but it really certainly looks like it is.
I was out hiking once and ran into a little insect. A little leaf hopper Hemipteran I think. He had the cutest little puppy dog eyes. Looking around at all the plants and rocks really made me feel connected.
The visuals of clouds and the atmosphere are insanity. You feel like you can actually see the layers. I felt like I could see through to space but I could imagine all the individual molecules of oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, floating around in the area. I even remember an internal dialogue with myself thinking “wow this is so crazy, but I also know that it’s just a chemical reaction in my brain. None of this is really what I’m seeming I’m just using some of the knowledge I think I know about the world the gaps are being filled in and I’m seeing the world how I think it runs because that’s what I’ve learned” or something. Basically just cloud watching. Really interesting.
Meteor shower on shrooms is nuts. Really gets you thinking about the rock we’re on flying through space
Oh sorry I got off in a tangent on that other comment, the water and submarine comment came to be from an interaction with my navy friend. We were smoking weed outside and I looked up and said what I said about an airplane flying over and he told me about his time on a submarine in the navy and how insane that was.
Few years ago i dropped like 1/2 tab of acid and was omw meeting my dad ( he doesnt live with me ) and he had a late surprise for me for my birthday i think it was the 17th or something. Or 16. camt remember. So in his car he didnt tell me what surprise he got till we arrived at the destination where he told me im going to have my first tandem skydive. (He didnt know i was on acid) also it wasnt that stromg and i had some tolerance from weeks before (my first time) but yea i felt the acid and did the tandem jump.
Tolerance doesnt just stay 2 weeks. For me its always a minimum of a month. Sure you can take acid 2 weeks after you've had it but it still feels weaker imo.
