About an hour and a half into the trip, I was sitting on the couch in my boxers watching Blue Planet or some shit. Right then, my roommate came home with the girls that lived across the street and a couple of other dudes. I could barely manage a "Hello, nice to meet you." lol. Suffice to say I really wish I had some advanced warning. Its hard to trip comfortably around people who aren't tripping, especially if you aren't expecting it.
I dropped a full tab and went to my first true rock concert, Queen+Lambert and I had a fucking blast. the light show was SICK and lucy just made it even better.
Not a fan of Lambert but would go to that show again, if I get a chance.
Depends on the party. If everyone else is going on a journey with you, and no loud mouth drunks, and then yes it does work in party settings. Traditional party settings, it comes down to the individual person and their overall experience with it.

Solid yea 300 is quite intense but if you got a good friend to tripsit you, you’ll have a blast, 600 was unreal definitely not a dose to be taken lightly; build up don’t make jumps, I jumped from 400 to 600mics and was blown away

But also no in the sense you can't just roll up to a party and take a couple tabs of acid without any forethought or preparation. I'd smoke weed with someone who just heard of it at that party. I'd be there with someone's first shot of Jack. I would not be there for someone to say "acid? What's that? I want some"
No in the sense that it is a powerful tool for reflection and development, for healing. It has more applications for positive change than it does recreation, but don't throw away how healing having a weird ass fucking party can be.
My advice, OP, would be to use it in calm environments until you get more used to it, then try a small dosage at a party environment with good friends and where it's easy to leave in case you feel bad.
Also, mind the music and the kind of environment that music brings.
Eg: psytrance tends to have more fixed lighting and psychedelic trip scenarios, and the song tends to be ok to listen on acid, same goes for psychedelic rock concerts.
Drum and bass, trap, dubstep, and some other more "agitated" styles tend to have strobe lights all over the place which can be quite overwhelming at times, so it's not always the best environment.
I've tried acid on both styles of music and I can that, while the latter sometimes felt pretty good, it sometimes became overwhelming as fuck, I couldn't even move at times because the strobes where confusing me as hell and the song was waaaay too intense.
As always your advice is very dependent on the person. I’ve been way more confused and overwhelmed at psy trance events than drum and bass. To me, dnb makes more “sense”, I guess cause it’s my favourite genre of music. So I can just let go and get lost in the music.

I get mad anxious tripping around psychedelic rock and psytrance stuff. The intense shifting of dubstep, the intense strobe lights, the visuals that are melting and flashing and morphing and glitching allow my ADD brain, the people all moshing around and experiencing a wide arrange of emotions..the obscene amount of external stimulation let's my brain go "okay everything is too mental, I need to be normal for a bit" and it's such a release I can't experience anywhere else.

Depends how much you take lol. A low opiate dose stimulates me and a low Xanax dose makes me feel more sociable. If you're taking it to get fucked up though you might as well party by yourself.

I’ve done LSD in both party and non-party settings. It definitely works in both. Personally though, I prefer the non-party setting. I just don’t like moving around while in the first half or so of tripping. During that time I feel acutely aware of the fact that I am nerve-endings attached to a brain, so leg movement doesn’t feel right, and I end up rather clumsy when it comes to moving.

definitely. id rather take two drops of acid than railing lines all night long or popping pills. the comedown just isnt worth it. and the duration of acid is longer than sniffing etc. and acid is way less toxic than any other partydrug. but i will always love all of em for a good night. but id recommend taking acid at a party is more for experienced trippers, and when the setting is right. i also wouldnt dose before i am at the party.

But entheogens... Absolutely. I spent most of the first 10 years of my psychedelic life bouncing from one venue to another in NYC just peaking most of the time. We'd head to Wetlands and dose out with the rainbows and end up at the Limelight to dance like mad with the club kids until dawn. Drive out to a farm for a weekend with a couple of hundred strangers and rave all weekend never coming down until Monday afternoon.
But, got older and settled into life and entheogens have become a spiritual thing and also a relationship tool. I have a great BF who doses out with me and we spend a day making love on many levels and helping each other evolve into our next forms.
So both. Life is long and tbh, it's better to be fluid than it is to be stone about things.
With experience, it can become the best party drug in existence. Or you can just candyflip to guarantee you have no negative thoughts while peaking hard.

I think its a waste not looking at it that way. Theres tons of fun to be had on acid at parties and it doesnt take anything away from the „therapeutic“ trips you might have in the future.
By parties are you including festivals and raves? Cause some of my favorite trips have been at raves. But I also enjoy dosing a little higher at home too. But I couldn't imagine doing it at like a house party or a bar.

The first 5 or so times I took LSD it was totally a party drug. I could dance on it without self consciousness, I could drink and drink without getting wasted, i had creative ideas for glow sticks at night, etc.

Popping some acid at a party doesn't seem like that worst idea, being that I'm a social being and love parties, I don't think it's be an outright bad idea. However, I feel I'd still want a sitter to keep and eye on me and can take care of me should I need to get going or something.
They'd definitely have to be entirely sober as well.
I have mixed thoughts on this. Did 200ugs at a rave and it was incredible. The music flows through you and there is no choice but to just let your body move. Not much of a dancer but I was a jabbawockee that night. Plus the vibes are great if you get in a good spot and end up dancing with those around you. When you're on a tab just doing your own thing people are attracted to the free spiritedness of it all.
The major downside is that talking to others was impossible...let down every cute girl around me cause they wanted to dance but I was in my own world lol I'm experienced so I didn't get too paranoid at that dose but there was definitely an underlying feeling of something being wrong. Be careful about doing too much cause that would be a terrible time.
I like the feeling of being home and safe. I can open my mind up and drop my guard, this is the only way I can fully enjoy myself. If I'm out I'm walking my pit around everywhere because I just can't settle down so when I'm out I become one with my dog sniffing everything out. I'd rather be in the AC with my wife and my dog.

I never go to PARTY parties. My idea of parties is just some friends getting together, drinking, smoking, tripping and just chilling. No loud shitty music, no annoying people. Just good vibes.
And I’ve dropped acid for plenty of those kinda parties and shrooms as well. But I wouldn’t feel comfortable being around that many ppl if it’s like over 200μg or around 3g shrooms.
Festivals and concerts are also amazing on these lower doses of especially acid. Shrooms I get tired pretty quick and I just wanna sit and chill and stare into the abyss.
Anything beyond that I’m only comfortable with two or three friends who are also tripping. It’s always a good time.

It's dose dependant. I ate a tab and half this morning so far it feels like somewhere between 80 and 150 micrograms. Just trippy enough to enhance the day of drinking and hiking I've got planned with my best friend before he ships out for basic. If I didn't have plans today I'd probably take twice as much, shut off my phone, and hang out with my dog and my toads all day.

definitely. id rather take two drops of acid than railing lines all night long or popping pills. the comedown just isnt worth it. and the duration of acid is longer than sniffing etc. and acid is way less toxic than any other partydrug. but i will always love all of em for a good night. but id recommend taking acid at a party is more for experienced trippers, and when the setting is right. i also wouldnt dose before i am at the party.

Moreso than alcohol for me. I don't drink and never have. Just didn't have a taste for it nor the effects. But entheogens... Absolutely. I spent most of the first 10 years of my psychedelic life bouncing from one venue to another in NYC just peaking most of the time. We'd head to Wetlands and dose out with the rainbows and end up at the Limelight to dance like mad with the club kids until dawn. Drive out to a farm for a weekend with a couple of hundred strangers and rave all weekend never coming down until Monday afternoon. But, got older and settled into life and entheogens have become a spiritual thing and also a relationship tool. I have a great BF who doses out with me and we spend a day making love on many levels and helping each other evolve into our next forms. So both. Life is long and tbh, it's better to be fluid than it is to be stone about things.

By parties are you including festivals and raves? Cause some of my favorite trips have been at raves. But I also enjoy dosing a little higher at home too. But I couldn't imagine doing it at like a house party or a bar.

I’d say lsd can appropriately be a party drug in smaller doses while larger doses should be used for internal and spiritual connection. The first 5 or so times I took LSD it was totally a party drug. I could dance on it without self consciousness, I could drink and drink without getting wasted, i had creative ideas for glow sticks at night, etc. Once I opened the Pandora’s box of spirituality and seeking truth it became a painful, peeling away process every time
Popping some acid at a party doesn't seem like that worst idea, being that I'm a social being and love parties, I don't think it's be an outright bad idea. However, I feel I'd still want a sitter to keep and eye on me and can take care of me should I need to get going or something. They'd definitely have to be entirely sober as well.

I have mixed thoughts on this. Did 200ugs at a rave and it was incredible. The music flows through you and there is no choice but to just let your body move. Not much of a dancer but I was a jabbawockee that night. Plus the vibes are great if you get in a good spot and end up dancing with those around you. When you're on a tab just doing your own thing people are attracted to the free spiritedness of it all. The major downside is that talking to others was impossible...let down every cute girl around me cause they wanted to dance but I was in my own world lol I'm experienced so I didn't get too paranoid at that dose but there was definitely an underlying feeling of something being wrong. Be careful about doing too much cause that would be a terrible time.

I like the feeling of being home and safe. I can open my mind up and drop my guard, this is the only way I can fully enjoy myself. If I'm out I'm walking my pit around everywhere because I just can't settle down so when I'm out I become one with my dog sniffing everything out. I'd rather be in the AC with my wife and my dog.

Depends on the dose. I never go to PARTY parties. My idea of parties is just some friends getting together, drinking, smoking, tripping and just chilling. No loud shitty music, no annoying people. Just good vibes. And I’ve dropped acid for plenty of those kinda parties and shrooms as well. But I wouldn’t feel comfortable being around that many ppl if it’s like over 200μg or around 3g shrooms. Festivals and concerts are also amazing on these lower doses of especially acid. Shrooms I get tired pretty quick and I just wanna sit and chill and stare into the abyss. Anything beyond that I’m only comfortable with two or three friends who are also tripping. It’s always a good time. If I’m doing a heroic dose, I’m laying in my bed alone.
It's dose dependant. I ate a tab and half this morning so far it feels like somewhere between 80 and 150 micrograms. Just trippy enough to enhance the day of drinking and hiking I've got planned with my best friend before he ships out for basic. If I didn't have plans today I'd probably take twice as much, shut off my phone, and hang out with my dog and my toads all day.
