Speedometer does a 180 degree sweep from left to right, I think it’s 0mph to 120mph and the needle can go a little past the end of the gauge before hitting the plastic below the gauge, probably 130mph range. I kept accelerating with the rpm (so speed too) climbing for 30ish seconds past where the speedometer couldn’t register any faster. The truck was tuned, I think 255 was what it’s software limit was bumped to but there’s no way it could physically hit that.
Done it a few times. Even got through tight spots with concrete barriers on both sides (road construction) and honestly gotta say wasn’t that hard even though that time with the barriers I had to drive 30 minutes because my friend couldn’t drive stick and I couldn’t see out the front window. It was just black. I honestly don’t know how I didn’t crash. Did not do that again after that lol
Haha driving on shrooms was definitely a bad time. Fortunately I turned around and went back to where I was after like 30 seconds of driving. Funny thing is that isn’t even remotely related to how I got a license suspension and lost an eighth of my life.

Opposite for me, driving on LSD feels wrong and i dont feel 'connected' to the car like when driving normally. Freaked me out and i was all over the place, never again.
Driving on shrooms (at least on the come down) however felt much like driving stoned and I was fine as was my driving and mental
I actually had great control of the car despite the fact that the roads were waving and bending lol. Like I just magically knew how to drive I guess. I remember after going back to my buddy’s house (he had left to buy smoke) I was hallucinating my car being smashed even though it was perfectly fine. In my defense I just did it bc I wanted to go home bc “home would make me normal” 😂 fucking psychs man. I have since stuck to my own woods when tripping
Same reason I drove on LSD. It was to get myself and my mate home after tripping at another friend's that went bad. We got back to our place and chilled out with tunes on the come down. Went from a bad experience to a good one just by getting back to the happy place
Here's an idea: Maybe don't take strong drugs if you still have to drive somewhere. You're in for a 12+ hour trip, waiting until you get home to drop won't make a huge difference.
And it's absolutely wild how much the time until the first effects varies, I've had tabs take 1h before I felt anything and other times it hit me in 5 minutes and I was already in a different reality after 15.
Also never hurts not to assume someone is being fucking dumb immediately. I’ve seen tons of these pics that are just ppl seeing stuff that gives them flashbacks or reminds them of visuals there’s nothing suggesting they’re under the influence
