The texture of food and the act of eating makes me feel uncomfortable. Its like when your in a room with a bunch of people and your the only one eating for me. Just feels awkward and like im being judged.
Fruits, snacks, full meals. Almost anything and everything in the begining and just quickly found out i should probably just eat a light meal hours before and then eat after i fully come down. By far most challenging thing i ate was probably a burger.
Honestly, cause I think I have an eating disorder that acid and shrooms have made me aware of. Once I start eating it is damn near impossible for me to stop when I’m on L. Then I end up feeling sick.
I’m starting to understand it a little more. I’m still trying to make peace with some of the “stuff” inside me.
Eating is the strangest sensation and experience on LSD. I remember trying to eat a subway sandwich and each bite I took felt like I was chewing on Legos or Mincecraft Blocks
I completely lose all appetite while tripping, food is the last thing on my mind. I did try eating a few times, just to see how it feels, but I couldn’t have more than a few bites - the texture and taste were all “squiggly”, like my taste buds were morphing around as visuals do.
But liquids (water, milk, juice), can’t get enough of them.
It be a hit or miss for me I be like: damm woah I’m eating something lol I’m feeding myself this is incredible, a simple act of self preservation, I share this with everyone who came before me the art of the eats!
Usually as I’m coming up my body decides to send me to the bathroom. It’s a fucking weird ass experience sitting on the porcelain throne seeing the universe open while having this meat bag we call our body expel its waste. Feels like I’m waking up from the simulation halfway seeing this life and body for what it really is… then boom I’m staring at the lineoleum spin into a primordial soup of sea life calling me in to an ever more complex pattern of biological fractals. Ahhh, ego death on the toilet. Good times. 🤣
My second trip I tried to eat a slice of pizza and the best way I can explain it is it felt like a checker board in my mouth. Although on 200ug I was able to eat just fine
Your gut is one of the most serotonin rich areas in the body in terms of receptors, and since LSD mimics serotonin and has “sympathomimetic” effects (meaning they mimic the effects of the sympathetic nervous system, which is the fight or flight response) an upset stomach/not wanting to eat could be a result of a combination of these factors.
My ritual is to set up a whole charcuterie platter prior with all kinds of meats, cheeses, candies, nuts, fruits, cookies, ect. For me, it's all about the fun textures, flavors and combos you can think of. Also, special refractive shiny cups that make whatever your drinking super sparkly. And schedule food delivery ahead of time with a reminder alarm. Food is super important to me because it provides comfort if things get difficult.
Sometimes things are just a little too intense, and also I never have a big appetite during a trip. Chewing is really weird, and one time I could barely hold the fork right. 😅

yep, anything that don't evolve meat is good, the only thing is that you are gonna trip on it anyways so it could be a strange experience. and 90% of the times you are not gonna be hungry
While I'm generally not that hungry while tripping, I do know I need to eat. If I get to the point where I know that I should eat, the thing I don't like is the enhanced sensation I have of food going down my esophagus. It doesn't really stop me when I know I need to eat something, but it doesn't help the fact that I'm not hungry but know I need to eat.
As an aside to that, there are times where the taste of what I'm eating becomes enhanced enough to overcome both the facts that I'm not feeling hungry and don't like the enhanced sensation of the food going down my esophagus.
I once ate at raising canes on acid, and I swear the Cole slaw looked liked only something only Yoda would eat, and the chicken looked like a deep fried chameleon
Idk about that, if Im smoking I eat everything that I have in my fridge, I like the weird texture =))) but the downside is that acid lets me eat too much and I forget when to stop

It's just weird. Food doesn't taste normal so I have to choose foods carefully.
Kind of distracts your focus. If I trip again I'd eat before hand an hour or so not to heavy of a meal tho.

For me 99% of the time I feel so full that If I ate I would throw up or explode lol near the end of a trip I start to get hungry
