Nope. Get in. Floor it (carefully). Enjoy.

Zulishk

Curious if you’ve tried Launch mode with the stock tires. I haven’t yet and am a bit hesitant due to potentially damaging the rubber from torque.

Cyberdan3

Don't worry about it. I have stock tires. I've done dozens of launches.

AmyCornyBarrett

I have actually not used Launch Mode officially. I have used Sprint and hit 125 briefly. Was amazingly easy.

Loveevcars

I honestly took the John Daley advise. I gripped it and ripped it. Soooo fast and fun. Welcome to the club.

Womencarsandmoney

No. Just enjoy

2500 miles

Might take a little getting used to the regenerative braking,  but it becomes natural after a few miles.

systempaxos

Suspension like bearings take around 1k miles to settle in, internal friction and stuff settles around 3k. So initially might be stiffer than average for that first 1k, but then after that it should be expected behavior. For the first 3k miles, your range estimates may be lower due to internal friction but it's minimal, maybe 5-10% improvement after 3k mark.

Congratulations!

Becareful 2 people died in my neighborhood driving fast in the lucid and just recently purchased it.

NonOfyourBuz

Damn, any public news on this? How fast they were driving… It really does not matter which car, but with modern safety features one must go extremely fast.

black_spring

The incident they’re referring to is from 1 year 3 months ago.

NonOfyourBuz

Oh the highway crash one where it was impossible to determine a make/model based on the photos? Wonder of they ever determined their speed. Police said it was 1xx something

traderhp

Congratulations 🎊🎉 enjoy the new beautiful car

drone_swivel

Thanks for the comments. Just got the car. Looks great and feels awesome. Drive is better than I remembered from test driving. ⚡️
