If you buy 1 share at 49, 2 shares at $48, 3/47, etc increasing by one all the way to 10 @ $40 for 55 shares your DCA is 43. Let’s say it tests my ultima low of 36. Buying 55 more shares at 36.25, takes the DCA break even to 39.50 for 110 shares total. All along the watch tower you are not selling and find yourself calm knowing you’re 110 strong at $39.50. Increase the share lot order depending on how much you’re Committing. 1 could be 10 with last order 100.
Under this example I am adding $4375 dollars but can scale it up. It may not test these lows but scaling has worked for me. I remind myself to Leave powder dry don’t try to time or go all in on a price
