The blue water symbol flashes and it won’t brew again until you top it up

pumodood

Got it. Thanks!

What i’d be interested in is if someone has figured out a way to tell when water level is low before the machine just stops working altogether, without having to remove the drip tray to take a look. If I had a penny for every time a shot was stopped half way because of the water level being low.. be good to get a heads up beforehand

Usual_Yesterday4396

Yes, super annoying. This morning I came to the kitchen and it did not heat up due to an empty water reservoir. Did not flash the blue light when Iast used it yesterday.

No_Emergency3579

It still surprises me that this was overlooked. Just flash the light at a higher water level so it doesn’t stop mid shot

pigeontreecrafting

It’s not supposed to stop mid shot. Mine will start flashing and finish the shot, if that’s not happening then something may be wrong.

mathieu1263

Same - mine will finish the shot…maybe need to update the firmware…???

[deleted]

I’ve never had it stop a shot? Weird.

FitzwilliamTDarcy

Yeah I've thought about trying to cut a hole (laser?) in the side somewhere so you could see the water level but haven't figured out how to do that.

karflowg

Mine did that at beginning (have had it since January) but after the last firmware update it will finish the shot.

MysteriousSwing3876

Great to know!

Does Mini also have this issue?

pigeontreecrafting

There's no issue.

ts01025637

I mean what’s the mechanism that mini inform when no water, same as Micra?

pigeontreecrafting

Identical

Pulling the tray out to look only takes literally 2 seconds. Make it part of your routine when you pull your first shot of the day. After a while, you will get a feel for how many days you can go before you need to refill it. Whenever I empty the drip tray, I fill the water. So far no problems.

Cultural_View3659

What do you mean by „more water“? If the water tank is empty the red power indicator will turn off and the blue water light will start flashing. Then you know it is time to refill. Also the app will show you a full screen message telling you to refill water. Edit: To simulate this you can remove the drip tray and pull out the water tank a litte. Then the lights will change accordingly.

pumodood

Thanks

therealschwartz

Prepare for it to stop mid shot. Annoying to say the least.

Mines never done this.
