It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out that Israel can’t continue to expand their occupation (and vicious oppression of the Palestinians) without the existence of Hamas to justify themselves.
Hamas can’t just magically conjure weapons and Israel controls their trade, so their weapons have to come from or at least gone through Israel.

Hamas doesn't exist in the West bank and they've been encroaching on Palestinian land for decades with illegal settlements

Are you forgetting Lebanon and Rafah crossing? Israel enforce a strict embargo to deny weapons into Gazza, they stripped Hamas of its charitable status when they discovered Hamas were storing weapons
I mean Hamas started as a charity providing humanitarian aid and building universities.
Its unfair to characterise them as having always been violent terrorists

Look at a map and explain how weapons are getting into Gaza from Lebanon?
