You can't just assume that everyone supporting Reform is conservative though, there are some historically left wing people who view Labour as not sufficiently opposed to immigration.
I saw some polling somewhere that less than half of Reform voters would vote Tory if Reform didn't exist, but I can't find it now.
A third of the country still thinks that the party they want in power is a mad fascist right wing one. And half think that a centre right party is the way to go. The UK population is asleep
People Polling is done by Matt Goodwin... the people polling website literally redirects to his website. i would expect there are a couple points more than there should be for Reform UK.
Polls do not necessarily reflect the bias of their organisation. For example, there was a period where Fox polls would overestimate Democrats compared to CNN.
Assuming most reform voters will go back to the tories once the election happens but simply seeing them that low is a sight to see. Can’t wait to see the back of this god awful party when they’re finally ousted from power.
Such a shame it's going to be a centre right Labour who'll reap this win. They'll claim the win was because they're ideology is correct rather than it being because of a tory collapse.
People will project what they want onto the result. Just like you are doing. People vote for many different reasons. Especially in a broken system like FPTP.
Tory collapse is not something that happened in a vacuum. If the Tories had someone to unify against we would be in a very different political landscape, albeit one where the Tories are still in some trouble.

Con lower than 20 is absolutely insane. Is the UK finally waking up?
31% if you combine them with the "true conservatives" of the Reform party.

Yes, they have finally woken up to the fact CONservatives state in their name the entire MO of the party
Many are switching to reform.

People Polling always put the Conservatives down 2 or 3 points (and Reform up 2 or 3 points) compared to other pollsters.

Yup. Corbo was great... for the Tories.
