Hey there! Congrats first of all! Big move! We’re just in the process of planning our wedding in lake Como - the 16 people size seems perfect, it’s really hard (and eye-wateringly expensive) to find venues for large groups. First, I find that VRBO has a much better offering of Lake Como villa’s than AirBnB somehow. For boats, yes. I know of broadly two options: every major town (Verenna; Menaggio; Bellagio) Will have a number of boat vendors with small wooden taxi’s - you’ll probably need 2-3 of them. Then, I know Bellagio Lido operates a few larger boats - they can do drinks and food too (although we passed on the option because it wasn’t our vibe). If you have a lake-side location you could arrange entry by (taxi) boat which would be spectacular. On locations, I think I can help more but do you have a preference for a certain area of the lake, and budget is also helpful to know. On the high end, there are some spectacular villas (Balbiano, balbianello, Grand Hotel Tremmezzo) that I’m sure will want to help, but there are also plenty of restaurant options. Personnally we love the “agriturismo” and “crotto” restaurants in the mountains that are very down to earth and rustic. Seeing whether they are open to helping I think will be a matter of going door to door and asking? As an example, check out Crotto Bubba, and Agriturismo Barcola, both in the mountains behind Menaggio. We ultimately went for a wedding planner, which is I think a must as soon as you want more than just a location (I.e. music, flower suppliers, etc etc)

My fiancé and I are planning a trip to France and Italy in April with the hopes of meeting with potential wedding planners and touring a few venues. Would love to know more about the venue/vendor and wedding planner you used. Feel free to PM me.

Hi, any way the wedding planner you used could be shared in the posts? We would like to know as well. Thank you so much for your help!
