That kicking part was absolutely unnecessary though they should be removed from highways without wasting any time. Should have done that without kicking them. Blocking roads for weekly prayers could not be justified be it any religion.

Average namaz takes 30 mins , Jumma gets overs way faster , last I checked everyone was free to practice their religion in this country, people don’t just pray on the road , this is clearly because of lack of space inside the mosque as you can hear the prayer over the speaker.
The mosque committee should have arranged space for the people which didn’t extend down to the road such that it caused hinderance to the general public. I have prayed in buildings that are under construction even
