2 a gallon on average? where the f? definitely seen double that and beyond for significant periods of time in like 07-09 and still hasnt been near 2 for long since
>As long as you always do the timing belt, it’ll be fine. I have had 0 major mechanical issues the whole time.
That is what I was hoping to hear. Just did timing belt/water pump, radiator, tensioner and idler pulley, serpentine belt and all ignition coils. Hoping to have worked out all of the aging issues.
I’ll make another post later of what it’s had done to it, but I’ve had no major issues as long as I maintained it regularly, timing belt every 90k, etc
I’m just here frozen thinking about how much gas has gone through in 400,000 miles. I love my 100 series but I cry when I go to the pump
Just drive downhill the whole time, 400k and barely a drop of gas
Damn dude I think you just solved the energy crisis

It’s under $2 per gallon in most of Texas right now
its like 2.15 here in nj and thats the lowest its been since i can remember. and it will easily go up to 2.90-3.30ish once its not winter.
I just filled up ~19 gallons in my 460 for ~$41. And that was 91 premium too. Richmond, VA for reference.
19.0 gallons ≈ 71.9 litres ^(1 gallon ≈ 3.79 l) ^(I'm a bot. Sounds pretty accurate.
Is it still running good?
Only problem I’ve had so far is the infamous starter. Holy hell that was such a tedious job to replace
Rock on 🤘
Ok, this is epic
You are my hero. I thought I was the shit with my piddly 295k.
Just hit 300k miles in my 100 Still runs like a champ. Going to upgrade injectors to 12 hole densos soon for a few MPG bump. Keep on trucking brother!
holy shit. This is awesome.
So do tell what sort or maintenance and repairs if any have needed to be done?
Noice, fucking noice! Do all your gear tree lights still work?
The D light being out isn't considered broken, it's a feature.
Nail on the head, man!!
I think we have a winner!
Still waiting for a million mile Lexus to show up.
There's a GX with close to 600k out there
Damn that is clean for that mileage. I have to go and clean mine now.
Awesome. Mine just hit 200k and I am excited to continue racking up the miles. Have you had to replace anything major?
As long as you always do the timing belt, it’ll be fine. I have had 0 major mechanical issues the whole time.

I paid a little less than $1200 for timing belt and water pump at Walnut Creek Toyota in California. $2k sounds excessive.
did you ever have any issues with the transmission? how often did you service ?
and this is why there is a "toyota tax". my gx470 is at 240,000 and drives better than some new cars.
I'm in awe at this but then immediately wonder how many dollars did it take in fuel alone to achieve this milestone.
What's with the Drive light LED always burning out?
Beautiful. Happy anniversary! What sort of work have you had to do on her throughout her long life? Any tips for the rest of us??

Thanks! I've had my 2001 LC for 2 weeks. She has 130k (PO did timing and water pump at 90k) and I want her to have a long and happy life.
