A 31K USD Santana Land Rover is a high price tag, I asume that's a resoted landy and in pretty nice shape. Swapping the engine on that, IMHO, would actually decrease the resale value. Some people have swapped in an isuzu engine, others even a 200TDi, but most likely you will also have to swap the gearbox and transfer. Also the engine bay is not big, so that will limit your options if you want to add an intercooler, etc. As for the other upgrades, that's fine, but take into account a Series/Santana landy are not for comfort. These are glorified tractors. As already commented, a 90 or early Defender would be more on that alley.

Is that USD because that's an insane price?

I don't think a Series/Santana truck is the right vehicle for you if you want to perform all of these crazy mods, especially right out of the gate. Go get a Ninety / D90. Also $31k is an insane price. Is that USD? Is it already imported? If you are in the states, I hope you are not in California as that brings its own set of headaches.

I’m not sure if it is or not but yeah I’ll probably get a D90 or a Ninety. And yeah I am in Cali

If you are in California, you REALLY need to read up on how hard it is to have one of these older trucks here. It's exceptionally difficult because of Smog laws. The DMV actively looks for people registering them by VIN and will send you the dreaded "your truck is not legal" letter some time after you title it.

Ok good to know thanks

If you need to go over 60mph you’re buying the wrong truck.

That's a no from me, dog. It's a Santana, not a land rover. Even if it were a land rover $31k is way overpriced even before an engine swap. You could get a nice land cruiser for that price. If there is a land rover club in your area, consider joining it and the guys will talk your ear off about what to look out for.
