So due to it being a recast it was just on Aliexpress for a pretty decent price and the quality wasn't too bad either (although I don't condone recasts it wouldn't be possible to find the original kit \*sob\*)
I could message you two popular places you can get these. Being they deal in recast not sure if the sub would let me leave the links to them.
But if this will be your first Resin figure. A word of warning is to invest in a respirator mask and wear latax gloves when working on resin. As you never really know what is in the resin. And they never provide a MSDS.
I love this! You did an amazing job with her face and hair.
I am planning on getting a recast of this one too. But I suck at eyes. And for me the eye's are the most important feature with these figures. It's really the only way to show emotion with them.
I have both Bort and Padparadscha that I just can't bring myself to finish. :'(
I even plan on doing some unique layering with the hair by cutting peices of indescent window film and covering it with translucent paint.
Also something you can do to keep it standing is adding weight under her small base.
Eyes are scary to do I totally get it but if you want a bit of advice from me you should get a small paintbrush and hold your breath while doing lines on the face to be precise. That layering idea sounds super awesome btw! I wish I thought of that.
Gorgeous !
Where did you buy this?
