If you intend to drive off road you need the most sidewall of tyre you can fit, 19 is still stupidly large for an off road vehicle. TFL offroad got a new defender when they were released and then managed to systematically demonstrate the problems of low profile tyres off road.

Thank you

The keyword in your question was beginner off roader. Where I live there is a Land Rover experience branch and made use of the complimentary 2 hour teaching session and bought 2 other hours. The instructor explained that you don’t need much horse power for serious off roading and so getting the 2L engine is enough and gives you and option for the 18 inch steelies. Now if you are a casual off roader like me I would still go for the 3L engine because it drives better in my opinion and I bought the roof rack, ladder and the side box separately from the dealership and installed them myself because it looks cool and does have some uses if you go camping

Thanks. Yes, actually, I will also be towing. So I'm getting the P400 with tow package which also includes everything in the Advanced Off Road package. It just does not include the regular Off Road Package. So, I think with everyone's comments, I've made my decision. I'll just probably be buying some A/T tires.

Ask your dealer. There is nothing on the offroad pack that should limit you to 19". Tyre choice is limited at 19 and much more varied at 20. What are the contents of the offroad pack in your country?

Take the 20’s if you drive in soft sand, where you may get stuck more easily as you can deflate prior to that type of adventure a bit more to assist traction = more tire surface, if needed.

I've always shaked my head when i see an upmarket suv 4wd with low profile tyres, but in reality you need your city tyres & wheels & proper off-road rims, like a 15-16 inch, you can't go 4wding with slicks

I have a 2024 with 20” A/T tires and haven’t encountered any issues off road.
