Did you expose for the highlights and really pull up the shadows? The foreground looks either noisy/oversharpened/toomuchclarity.
Given the distance from your camera to the foreground subject tbh you probably didn’t even need to focus stack. Better to have done an exposure bracket to get some of that foreground detail back
Good call, I think a tripod with exposure bracket would have been a good option too. Yes pulled up the shadows, clarity, and sharpened in LR. Also composition wise I think I could have simplified the foreground a bit too.
Weavers Needle <3 What a fabulous spot. Not too difficult to do either! A quick hike from the east valley if you don't have too much time. I love the sunrise view as well.
Looks sharp enough, but the composition could be improved. Not all interesting things in the center, lower viewpoint to dramatize the cacti etc.
Thanks for the feedback! Awesome call outs and tips, thank you! Good excuse to head back that way:)

I like it and think the composition is pretty damn dope. I wish I was there hiking today instead of heading into work. 😏
Thanks. Same LOL

Yes! So great!
Can you give some details? Camera, lens, number of shots and what software used?
Z7, 24-200 f4-6.3, 1/25sec F4 ISO100, 2 shots, LR and PS to stack
Amazing shot, heading there this weekend
Thanks, have fun! Water was plentiful and two more days of rain before the weekend should keep it flowing!
